Review: Like the first two books this one has a lot of mysteries and puzzles that slowly get reveled as the story progresses. There are lots of twists and turns that had me delighted, surprised, and kept me guessing what was going on. The Mistborn series has a very complex world with engaging characters that surprisingly (view spoiler) This book was a page turner for me as more of the puzzle pieces of the series got put into place and the plot lines converged together. I would have never guessed what kind of ending this book had and which characters would play such a big role. Excellent book and series.["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>

This is the third book in the Newford series but it is nothing like the others. There is always a dark element in the books fighting the evil from the spiritworld but this is more about the evil in human nature and that makes it a lot scarier.
This is a very dark disturbing book. It contains paedophilia, violence and several kinds of abuse.
We follow at least 3 lots of people and they all end up together in the end, fighting the horrific ghost that is killing young women.
It ends as well or better than expected.
I have some time ago decided to read all of the Newford series but I think I need to wait a bit with the next book as that is also supposed to be rather scary.

It's really a great ending book with lots of surprises.

This series continues to flow nicely. Thalia who was introduced last book takes center stage going on a Quest with Percy. However there can only be one female lead so we lose Annabeth for most of the book. Percy's brother, Tyson, only popped up twice via rainbow communication. The quest see's Thalia and Percy join Artimis' Hunters to save the goddess, and by proxy, Annabeth. I loved Zoe! she is a great character, stuck in a lifetime many centuries ago. We also discover more about Kronos' plot to see the Olympians fall, as well as a couple of pretty big bombshells. keeping me well interested and hanging for more!!

Review: I love this series. I wish I had continued this series earlier. I feel in love the the Malory's when I first picked up the books out of order. When I realized it was part of a series I went back and started at the beginning.
Gentle Rogue continues with James Malory and Georgina Anderson. James is a confirmed bachelor. He never plans to get married, that is until me meets Georgina Anderson in a tavern. She is not dressed in the normal lady attire. Instead she is in boys breeches.
Georgina is in England looking for her betrothed Malcolm. She would not be in England otherwise. Georgina is the only girl in the Anderson family. Her brothers are protective of her.
The tension between Georgina and James is priceless. Georgina and Mac are heading back to America and the first ship they are able to bored happens to be James Malory's ship. Georgina has to pretend to be a boy. She is James' cabin boy.
I loved the chemistry between James and George (the nick name James gives her) during the whole voyage back home. Also seeing the to family's together was a laugh a minute. The ribbing from both sides just makes you laugh out loud. I can't wait to continue with this series.

Oh my good what a series I loved it.I though it was the best ending to the trilogy.there was things that happen that I never though would like when Antonio actualy bit Jen and Jamie confessed is love for Sky.this book made me laugh as well as cry.

Just to let you know:
I am having major sign in problems on Goodreads.I mostly use the desktop version on either pc or Ipad but for some reason everything has logged me off and I can't sign back in. The App is just now the only place I can get on but I am afraid that might also disappear.
I have sent a message to Goodreads for help but I don't know how long this will take.
This is just to explain why , if I suddenly appear as gone and don't comment or add books.
I hope this will be solved soon as I use Goodreads constantly.

Now I can start reading :-)

Review:Once again another excellent installment in this series. There are times I would like nothing more that to throw the book across the room but at the same time I love Gilli and his troubles. He is childish and temperamental at times but also funny and well aware of his own faults. This book has a much better mix of good moments and bad compared to the last book that was almost a DNF despite the high rating I gave it. I still don't like the relationship dynamic between the three characters feeling that is very unbalanced. It at times makes me very uncomfortable and angry but at the same time I do like the DD aspect, humor, and flashes of love between the three. If nothing else this book does bring out a huge range of emotions that really impressed me and made me think more about the dynamics in s D/s relationship.

This was a phenomenal read this series has become one of my favorites. The 2 main characters are great together. Not only do they have chemistry but, they are acctracted to each other as well. I also loved reading about how all the couples from the past books contributed to the story without detracting from the main characters

What a great start to this series. Now I now why so many people rave about this series. It follows Merit as she is turned into a vampire in a world where only the vampires are out to the humans, but there are other supernatural creatures our there. It follows here adjustment, learning curve and flourishing within her new world.

Again a free Kindle book that was better than expected. Tiff can see and talk to the dead, only the ones that died an violent death. She can also see "demons" or that is what she calls them, beings from another dimension. She has to help solve the case of a missing kid and she gets paired with a demon. It is despite the killing and torture also quite humourous when she discuss things with the two ghosts that live in her house.
It was close to a 4 star book but ended as a high 3 instead. I might get the next in the series, I like it when free books reels me in.

The Magic of You continues with the Malory and Anderson families. Amy Malory and Warren Anderson are the main focus of this book. Amy has her coming out and has already found the man she will marry. Even though he doesn't know it yet.
Amy is all of 17 when she has her party. Warren is one of Georgina's older brothers. The first time Amy meets Warren she knows that he will be her husband. This book was very entertaining. The seduction that Amy does to get under Warren's skin is delightful.
Warren has been hurt before and is a very angry and distrustful of women and of marriage. Amy is determined to change all that. Amy is a wonderful girl that has learned a lot from her Uncle's, James and Tony. I can't wait to continue this series.

Review: This turned out to be not at all what I was expecting but still a fabulous book. Instead of the relationship between Jamie and Danial being the focus of the story it was more like a sideline plot point. This book focused very heavily on Jamie dealing with Belle's dying and healing the rifts between Alec and Owen. Interwoven with the sadness and tangle of emotions was Jamie's own parallels with drinking and he slowly developing relationship with Danial.
I loved how the relationship wasn't the focus yet still made Jamie deal with some issues he was ignoring. It was great to see the slow build between the two as Danial gave support to Jamie and in turn Jamie help both Owen and Alec straighten out some of the issues between them.
This was a sweet but sad book that had a very nice ending to it.

It took me 1½ years from buying Shadowmagic, the first book in the series, before reading it and now another 1½ years later I finally got around to reading the second book.
I really enjoyed this book. Conor has come back to the real world but it is just not the same to him any longer and after being accused of his father's murder and arrested he is saved by his mother and brought back to Tir Na Nog. This time his quest is to find a cure for his father who is dying. Conor is just a teenager and quite often behaves as such but the book is humorous with him also trying to tell jokes that nobody understands.

I couldn't put this book down. I stayed up late last night to finish this book. I knew if I had tried to go to sleep I wouldn't because I wanted to reach the ending of this book. I also realized that this is the first book I had ever read by Johanna Lindsey. It had be about 10 years or more since I read this and I still loved it this time around.
Say You Love Me is the romance of Derek Malory, heir to the Marquis of Haverston and Kelsey Langton. Kelsey is a lady but Derek does not know this when he purchases her at an auction just to thwarts Lord Ashford who is known to beat his whores.
Kelsey is talked into selling herself to help her uncle avoid the creditors. She has to lie and she knows that once she does this she will never be able to marry. She has to tell a story of why she talks and acts like a lady.
When they start falling in love with each other it is interesting. And seeing Derek's Uncles James and Tony noticing how much Derek is smitten with Kelsey. Only one family member learns the truth and that is Reggie. She knew when she first met Kelsey at the dress makers that they would be great friends.
Lord Ashford kidnaps Kelsey as she is leaving the dressmakers one day. Luckily James has his butler tailing Lord Ashford and know that he has taken a woman. When James learns about it and hears the description he knows it has to be Kelsey. This is when I just couldn't stop reading. I needed to reach the end and know what would happen to Kelsey and Derek.
I cannot wait to read the next book in this series.

I really really loved Lilly and Marcus together as a couple. I loved how they didn't like each other when they first met and then their raging passion for each other ones they realize what it is they were feeling for each other.their characters are so alike they are both strong willed, confident stubborn smart, and really protective of the people they love. I really loved this book

I know. I am unfortunately unemployed just now which is another reason I read a lot of free books or books I have purchased a long time ago.
I am also lucky I can get a lot of books from the library.

i finished this a couple of days ago but it's taken me a while to decide what to say and how to rate it. it was a book i couldn't put down, it read really quickly and easily and the story flowed nicely however the overall story didn't seem to have a lot happening. the characters were endearing but not unique/spectacular. the ending was fairly obvious early on but watching the characters discover everything for them selves was entertaining. i was tossing up between a 3 and 4 star rating and went with the higher one.
