Just click on the "add book/author" link right above the text box, search for your book, then click the ADD button next to the book you want to include.

Caitlin Francis I am reading Robin Hobb The Liveship Traders Trilogy 3 Books Collection Set even though I am a big Robin Hobb fan I somehow missed reading this series. Really enjoying them so far

Chris, the whole series is fabulous.

Emily | 11 comments Just got another book in the mail, so I might try to also read Don’t Let Me Be Lonely: An American Lyric this month as well. I enjoyed Citizen: An American Lyric last month.

Great books! I'm current with the Wars of Light and Shadow and it is a masterpiece! You are in for a real treat Chris!
Ships and Warhost of Vastmark are two halves of the same story, there is no cliffhanger between them but for maximum effect, they're best read together (great thing I read on Kindle, I finished Merior one night and started Vastmark straight away!).

We are currently having a spoiler-tagged only buddy read of the series and we're up to Vastmark
Curse https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...
Merior https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...
Vastmark https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...

You are welcome anytime :)

Currently reading Robin Hobb The Liveship Traders Trilogy 3 Books Collection Set, like Caitlin.

Your review has inspired me to bump this book up on my list of "to reads". It looks like it may be a really good story. Thanks for the excellent review.

Joseph | 1651 comments Finished Aftermath, which was really quite good, and started Journey to Star Wars: The Force Awakens: Lost Stars, which I will not have finished by the time I'm sitting in the theater tomorrow evening watching Force Awakens. Stupid work.

message 63: by Caitlin (new)

Caitlin Francis I've really got to read some Janny Wurts!

I'd recommend To Ride Hell’s Chasm as a good starting point Caitlin.

Ian Hall | 169 comments Im currently reading liars key by mak lawrence and its awesome.

Layla ✷ Praise the sun ✷ Thank you for the kind words Tnkw01 :). I hope you'll enjoy the book.

I'm currently reading Ender's Game.
It has an interesting world / concept but I find myself bored at times - there is a lot of repetition, the same events happening again and again in slightly different circumstances/context.

After this I'll go back to fantasy. I miss magicians and assassins and races and and and...

Kyra Halland (kyrahalland) | 47 comments Ash and Silver by Carol Berg, probably my very favorite author. And PRIDE'S CHILDREN: PURGATORY, contemporary romantic/women's fiction.

Finished The Scar and have to tell you it is one of the best fantasies I have read in a long time. I highly recommend it to everyone. Starting Mythago Wood today.

message 69: by Amy (new)

Amy Sanderson | 129 comments I've just started A Thousand Pieces of You. The reviews for it have been hit-and-miss, but I admit I was rather seduced by that amazing cover! The concept is intriguing, at least, and it's been a while since I read any SF, YA or otherwise.

I second that. Also my first Wurts book. It has all the hallmarks of the author, gorgeous prose, immersive atmosphere, both action and intrigue, mature themes, deep worldbuilding and an addictive story weaved by a well-rounded cast of characters.

My first was Sorcerer's Legacy

Alissa | 220 comments Helen wrote: "My first was Sorcerer's Legacy"

Oh, that was such fun! First, there is a female lead, the only one in Wurts solo works (if you have read Daughter of the Empire featuring Mara, Sorcerer's legacy is the book that prompted Raymond E.Feist to seek Wurts for a collaboration). It's a very fast read and there is an important romance subplot. Lots of intrigue to boot!

Elise (ghostgurl) | 1028 comments Over the past couple of days I finished Shadow Chaser and Shadows of Self. Shadow Chaser was a meh-worthy middle book syndrome thing, whereas Shadows of Self was great. A better "shadow" book :P Brandon Sanderson does it again. :)

Now I'm finishing the Chronicles of Siala trilogy with Shadow Blizzard

And I'm also reading Envy of Angels, which I won recently in a giveaway contest here.

message 79: by Joseph (new)

Joseph | 1651 comments And now I'm starting Star Wars: The Force Awakens by Alan Dean Foster (the first author ever to write a Star Wars novel), and then maybe it'll be time for something that doesn't take place a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away.

I really enjoyed Chronicles of Siala. What I loved most about the series was the way they portrayed Elves. Not your stereotypical viewpoint.

Tracey the Lizard Queen I'm indulging in some urban fantasy, making my way through Kate Daniels series. Its an easy read and a bit silly at times, but fun.

message 88: by Joseph (new)

Joseph | 1651 comments Wrapped up Star Wars: The Force Awakens and decided to go to a different long, long ago: Aztec by Gary Jennings. (Which, yes, isn't technically fantasy, but can pretty much be treated as a very long, very sordid secondary-world fantasy for most of its length. Kind of like Mel Gibson's film Apocalypto.)

message 89: by Elise (new)

Elise (ghostgurl) | 1028 comments I just finished Envy of Angels. It was a pleasant surprise. I really enjoyed it. It's was one crazy read, but very funny and fun.

Now I've been reading The Death of Dulgath

message 93: by Monica (new)

Monica Davis Thanks, Helen. It sounds interesting.
