Yesterday a truck almost hit me on my scooter! I screamed bloody murder and went into the oncoming lane and almost hit the curb but he breaked. Not only did he not look, but he made the widest turn ever!

Everybody needs to look where they're driving, please.

Now, I'm heading to the bagel shop on my scooter because ain't nothin' gonna breaka my stride. But I'm scared.

Scary!!! If it'a any consolation, I'm sure the trucker guy was somewhat shaken as well.

A friend of mine drives a jeep, only because in case of a collision, she knows she'd be better of than the majority of cars, not to mention scooters. Driving scooters and bikes is scary. I admire your guts! I'm not sure I could do that.
