Groovy and Ter'e, love both names, and Ter'e, I'm glad you're enjoying the book, I've had my name down at the library for W.E.B. Griffin books, as per your suggestion, but still waiting!
It's too bad that some of that rain, at least half, couldn't have made it to California. It's extremes on both sides! It just amazes me how in this day and time technology is just out of this world, but they can't devise some kind of technology to prevent severe drought!Sean, where are you? I'm eager to hear about your thoughts on today's plays:)
Groovy,
watched a few matches, but spent three hours playing last night, and did not come back ub till 10.30 pm.
Watched Murray, nice easy win. Shame for Venus, who was leading 4-1 in the first set.
Hate having to work, when I would be rather watching the tennis.
Played 3sets, as number 1 player in our team tennis of four.
We drew in sets 3 sets all, but lost in games total.
Johanna Konto our British number two lost yesterday, shame came through 3 rounds of qualifieing rounds, the first set tie break she lost 19- 17 !!

Sorry for your team's lost, Sean. And for your number two to lose by two points. But keep up the hard work, I'm rooting for you.Three hours of play! I would have nothing left in me after that:)
It is getting harder now.
My job is 10-12 miles walking a day, and I play team tennis Monday, 2-3 hours, 3 sets.
Wednesday, friendly on a friends court, 2-3 sets, 2 hours.
Thursday, four sets, 2 doubles, 2 mixed, 2-4 hours.
By Friday tired with 10-12 sets of tennis.
Then Saturday up at 5.00 a.m to do a market for my wife's jewellery for 11 hours.
Sunday I should be out walking a friends dog, then singles tennis in the afternoon, but found I have just been too tired.
Today have not watched much tennis, just Serena, and will this week also be watching the semi-finals of Britain's Got Talent, and the final on Saturday

Good gracious, SeanI know it's hard to believe, but I need to hang around you. Boy, would I be fit and healthy! I sigh when I have to do a simple walk around the block!
You hang in there and keep up the good work. You have a busy life--that's good.

hello people miss me? probably not lol I had a bit of a busy weekend rugby Friday night bit of gardening on Saturday the ideal home show on sunday back at work Monday and I was not in a great frame of mind for being online. sorted that out today with a nice strength workout on behind the head push press getting up to 45Kg then a good hard wod using 30kg so still trying to up my weights for that so happy with today. Onto tomorrow see what that brings :)
One more thing, Sean. I owe you a big apology. I had no idea you are British. I forget that this forum has members from everywhere. I made the remark that I wasn't too fond of Murray. We here in America know how you guys feel about him, and I meant no disrespect. So, please forgive me.Sharon, I wish I could see you in person. I would love to see the results of all your hard workouts:)
Titas - oh my! for the heat! I could not survive that without being ill. I do not take well to heat and humidity. Please be careful and to everyone there, take care of yourself.Jenni - congrats on becoming a grandma.
E. - I can't imagine what is happening in Texas and the areas around Houston. Wow! Be safe!
Thanks Sean and Pat. Sending good health vibes to those who are sick, cooler weather for those suffering from the heat, and E, not sure what danger you're in, but may angel wings keep you safe!
Groovy, more tennis talk on the French Open thread in sports area.
Groovy, no apology needed, we all have different favourites, and I have met him 3 times, and he is very nice, loves boxing.
I just love tennis, and the different match ups that make good matches.
Perri, I read through my lunch at work, with music in my ears so I do not get disturbed.
And usually late in the evening, after my wife and I have watched something, I then read.
That's why I want to retire, I cannot fit all the tennis, snooker, gardening and walking I want to do !!

I am very very happy and excited to share something with you all. I'm so happy! Here is the link - http://www.robertmccammon.com/2015/05...

Your English is better than many British born people I've encountered, Titas. Good luck with the exams.
