No, for now I'm going to stick with the In Death series group along with some new releases & my big backlog pile. Plus, I just finished #8 earlier today and again was disappointed. So I'm not sure if it's b/c I read too many in a short period & some out of order & maybe a little b/c they're old (which isn't a good excuse b/c I have liked so many other series or books that were 70s, 80s & 90s, but trying to salvage the series for myself), BUT I definitely need a break from them (which I put in my review too), but even after break, I might skip to ones that are 10 yrs or less old and see if they are are better or worse for me.

Last year I was able to snag a $10 credit but most of the books I want is over that price so I'd still have to come out of pocket. And I hate when they have sales it's always only on specific books. Just once I'd like to see an entire site sale!

Pretty sure you will NEVER see that. They do a sitewide sale where they take 20% off the entire sale, but it ends up being a couple of dollars off each books. I like the $3.95, $4.95 and $6.95 sales
And it's always 20% off the original price not the members price :(
Oh, and I always snatch up a bunch during the 3.95 and 4.95 sales. And during the 2 books for 1 credit sale. But sadly those are always only a specific set of books. None I would have chosen first.

Well, they take 25% or 30% of the original price, so maybe a $12 book will be $10 or even $9. It's not bad, but it's not much either.

December Buddy Read Discussion

Rules:
Use this thread to find your buddy and determine your book! You can always start by posting books, authors or genres you are interested in. When you decide who your buddy will be and what book(s) you're going to read head on over to the FINAL SIGN UP thread (see link at bottom) and tell me your book and buddy there (there will be instructions to follow).
1. If you want to participate post your name and let people know what genre(s) you are interested in reading and/or any books that you're interested in reading.
2. If you already know who you’d like to read with, go to the Final Sign Up thread and post your information for me!
3. Groups of 3 or more are also fine, the more the merrier.
4.I will create Buddy Discussion Threads for each Buddy group and you will be able to start reading and discussing.
5. There are no rules on what, how much or how often to discuss or how best to pace your reading - whatever works best for each individual group.
5.The challenge will span a month.
6.You CAN sign up for more than one Buddy Read...in fact it's encouraged!
ANY QUESTIONS JUST ASK!
Once you have a buddy, go to the December Sign Up Thread and post your book and your buddy.
