Elinor Roderick | 2 comments Read this a few years ago. Alpha of the unit in perhaps a sergeant major. The female character is a lieutenant to captain. She is with the unit to observe them while they're on a covert in the Balkans (perhaps Serbia or Bosnia). The two of them end up together and she is captured and beaten. He rescues her. They end up back with the rest of the unit who have a camp near a big cave. She is a virgin, and ends up pregnant after they "mate".

Elinor, what type of shifters are they?

When did you read this book?

This book has some similarities, but it's set in Afghanistan: First to Burn by Anna Richland.

Elinor Roderick | 2 comments It has been at least a year or two since I read it. I believe they are wolves, but not 100 percent on that. The location is most definitely The Balkans, the bad guys are the war criminal types.

Ok, while trying to do some clean up on my Nook (which is acting up, and totally annoying me) I found a book that I downloaded for free but haven't read, so thought I'd throw it out there, since the title at least suggests that it might fit your description parameters. A SEAL in Wolf's Clothing

Ayshe | 4721 comments I see that the Paranormal Romance & Urban Fantasy has solved it: Blood Moon, hasn't it?

Until we get "official" word from the OP, this can't be moved down to Solved. I sent off a PM, so hopefully we'll hear something soon.
