Ok, someone is taking legitimate no-ISBN books from this user and changing the authors to "Delete". Unless you know for sure that the book does not exist, it should not be getting deleted. And even in that case, changing the author like that is not helpful.

I think I got all his non-legit no-ISBN books. He had a lot of legit ones -- small-press books, duplicate ISBN editions with new covers, foreign books with no ISBN -- that I hope have not been deleted.

I only deleted the one (which was how I found him) on a duplicate edition that was already merged. Someone put "Delete" as the author?

It's already combined with the correct edition and separated from the rest. After deletion, please recombine with the others. I don't know whether separating these two editions was necessary or not. If I just complicated things, let me know.

Chichipio, it looks like separating them out was a good idea. I think otherwise the ratings/shelvings would have migrated to the coverless edition, rather than the one with the matching cover.

Someone has combined it. Why would it get deleted? It seems to have a valid ISBN.

You couldn't combine because there are two "Michael Grant"'s. The GR author has an extra space between his first and last name to separate him from the other Michael Grant. I added the extra space and combined the books.

I did not however, delete the book. It has a unique ISBN and therefore it stays.
