This was a terrifying read. There were moments so horrific that sometimes, I ..."
wasn't it thought! there next 3 books draw out the series more - i define it as the micro and macro world of unwinding - bk 1 is very focused on the individuals, bk 2-4 much more on society and the decisions - with the POV's of the teens still

CONGRATS!
Yes you do, Amy, as this is where we keep track of reviews for properties. Also, you need to set up a request thread for the property that you read the book for so that Tien and I can update the threads.

Aaaand... I'm done :)
Crossed (Matched #2) was a fairly easy and fast read. I wasn't that impressed with the first book but was interested enough to find out where the story goes. I can't say that I'm that impressed with this book either though I think I'm in a bit of a strange mood because all those feels you're supposed to be cheering for, I was instead shuddering at the corniness of it all :p Whilst I wasn't too keen on the whole book, I'm only rating at 2.5 stars though rated up to 3, the ending still interest me enough to consider picking up book 3 (yea, let's finish this!)

My review:
I love finding fresh voices in romance because so many authors tend to have a cookie cutter approach, Eliza Gordan is one of those authors. I really enjoyed the previous book I read by her (Must Love Otters) and in Neurotica, she brought her witty writing again. Neurotica features Jayne, a obituary writer who struggles with intimacy issues, who at the urging of her therapist writes an erotic romance that becomes a bestseller. I loved her character development of Jayne, along with her love interest Luke (of the Piewalker food truck) and his sister, Leia (yeah, I kid you not). The geek-level was high in this one but really cute. 4 stars

Yep, That works! Let me know when you finish.

No Way Back is a typical murder mystery. Woman witnesses a murder, gets framed for it, and then goes on the run to figure out who the bad guys are to clear her name. Not bad, not great--3 stars.
This is my second property, so no more buying for me. Here is the request thread:

I would like to purchase Lord of the Flies. My book has been chosen (Something Rotten - 385 pages) and must be completed by 5/11/16. This will be my second property.

I will list it as Frozen, Bea. :)

Finished Something Rotten for Lord of the Flies. I gave this book 4* - mostly for the entertainment quality of the story. Thursday works both in the book world and in keeping the books whole (real world). Jasper Fforde must be a well-read man to make so many references to other books in his Thursday Next novels. And, of course, many of Thursday excursions in and on behalf of books are a reader's wish when a book is particularly good. These books are "mind candy" or "snack books" as others have labelled similar books. They are fun, ridiculous (measured against my own life) and so very creative. Love them!

Yep, she is going for this one...and will probably get it. I am bogged down.

A very lovely story, about Mary who goes to live with her uncle after her parents die. I like the idea that fresh air and playing outdoors can cure mostly everything; not only physically, but also mentally. I especially liked Dickon with his animals. He brought some magic into the story.
Congrats on your purchase, Lusie. Could you please set up the property thread & I'll link you up on the Board? Cheers!

The book was both sad and happy. I liked that Augustus used his "wish" to take Hazel on a trip to meet the author of her favorite book. The story was a bit predictable, that is why I give it 3 stars.
WoW, good reading, Lusie!
Please create a thread for your Don Quixote
That will be 2 properties for you and you cannot purchase anymore.

OK, I am WAY behind here. Here is the synopsis, though. Lusie now has The Adventures of Tom Sawyer and Don Quixote, which completes her limit of two.
Bea has given up Don Quixote and purchased Lord of the Flies
Tien is reading for Animal Farm.
Off to make the changes
