We will take a break from adding any new group reads for December, since everyone tends to get busy with the holidays, but will start some new reads in January for the new year, 2016.

What would you like to read for a REGULAR GROUP READ discussion read next year? These can be new releases, older releases, popular books, thought provoking books, non-fiction books, etc.

If you nominate a book, you must be willing to lead the discussion if the book is selected.

Jayme(theghostreader) (jaymetheghostreader) I nominate The Nightingaleby Kristin Hannahbecause I haven't read it and the group hasn't read it yet.

Time to VOTE for our next Group Reads. We will plan on reading the top two vote getters for January and February 2016.

Still a couple days left to vote on this poll if you haven't already! We have a tie for 2nd place (and we are planning on reading the top two). Which of these books would you like to read with us for the new year?

Our two winners (with a tied vote) for the New Year are

The Nightingale by Kristin Hannah, and

Saint Mazie by Jami Attenberg

Since it was a tie, Irene and Jayme(the ghost reader), do either of you have a preference for who would like to go first (one in January, one in February)?

Looking forward to reading and discussing both of these!

Irene | 4587 comments Since I am facilitating the classic choice in January, I would prefer to facilitate this one in February. I have to pick less popular books to nominate. Who would have guessed that both my nominations would have won in the same period?

When it rains, it pours, Irene! LOL!
We will plan on reading The Nightingale in January then, and do Saint Mazie in February!

Jayme(theghostreader) (jaymetheghostreader) That's fine
