I read this book a long time ago, and I really loved it. Sadly, I read it when I didn't have a GoodReads yet, so it's not on my list. And now, I want to read it again.


The girl comes from a land that has strict policies of their religious practices. She has to wear heavy white face paint and wear white (as I recall she wore a lot of white). Her nation is kinda small.

The boy is a prince who likes to ride horses. He was quite rude to the girl when she first came because he didn't like her being so prude.

The story starts rolling when the boy teaches the girl to ride a horse, but her horse runs wild and ultimately, she ends up getting kidnapped.
