He'll tell him how lucky he is to have Alec and that he misses Will! :(

"I always thought I was happy being the dark star to your supernova. I mean, you have the angels gift. I could train and train... I'd never be you." - Alec Lightwood

We already know Jace doesn't die, but that doesn't mean Alec dies.
He could very well become immortal.

Maybe by dead they mean vampire-dead.
I still have hope... And by losing his Parabatai it means they can't be shadowhunters together.

I can't deal with Alec as a vampire- Jace wouldn't be allowed to torment Simon anymore, because Alec is one.
I'd love for Alec to become immortal, but I'm having my fingers crossed for both becoming mortal- then something bad happening :(
I think Jem might explain his loss of Will as his parabatai to bring Jace and Alec closer. So they don't ever have to go through what Jem & Will did.
Plus we get to find out why/how Jace & Alec became parabatai :)

"I'll train with you."

What if those 6 characters in the jacket are the 6 to die & the jacket is a memorial kind of thing? :(

They were like brothers!
Oh my God!
I was just going to say 'What if Alec becomes an Iron Sister?' And I just started laughing at my own idiocy.

What if those 6 characters in t..."
I've seen that. But who are the other four?

I am guessing Simon for him. Along with Luke too :)
Also out of context- but don't you think Isabelle looks like Lara Croft :') in the newest game or is it just me? :')

Jace says to Sebastian:
“Waiting for a special occasion to kill me? Christmas is coming.”
City of Heavenly Fire is set around Christmas time!

They don't need to die before hand.
I think it'll be Luke & Jocelyn
Tessa & Jem
Isabelle & Simon
I'd like to say Malec- but 733 pages isn't enough to describe a very extravagant Magnus style wedding :')

In the photo of Magnus manacled up, with Raphael and Luke in the same room.
Haven't you noticed they are all wearing shirts and trousers- even Magnus is wearing a tie.
It would be understandable in TID, but in TMI it's a more modern time.
What if they were at a WEDDING when Magnus was taken, and they went after him?
Hence the way they are dressed?!?

Are gay relationships forbidden?

They might have a bitch about it?!
I hope they actual got married! Before they snatched him away!
And I hope Alec goes on a rampage if it's true!

I also think you have to ask the clave or something like that to have a wedding between a shadowhunter and a downworlder.
I will love a Malec wedding!
Maybe it's not necessarily a Malec wedding it could be any wedding.
Maybe Jocelyn's and Luke's or Clace wedding or Jaia wedding or Sizzy wedding...
And be interrupt when someone notices that Magnus is missing or someone take him in the middle of the wedding (I bet is The Clave)

He's all dressed up and locked up.
I think a wedding has been crashed by the clave for whatever reason. Then taken the downworlders.
Maybe Magnus is the only one chained because he could magic them out.
Maybe the bars of the cell has religious markings and are made of silver?

Remember how he treated Simon- I don't think the new one will be much better?
Also, if the accords are changed- maybe the covenant law for downworld has gotten more strict?

I'm pretty sure he will be a dickhead of an inquisitor :')

It's like they have their own race.
Dammit, Will! I told you not to feed them poultry pies!

They are most definitely their own race- Herondale: she was like Gretchen from mean girls when she finally snaps shouting "YOU CANT SIT WITH US"
Aldertree: he was like working on both sides if psycho street! One minute nicey-nice, next minute growling and baring his false teeth (I'm assuming here! ) :')
Then Lightwood: he's like one of those politicians you want to kick in the balks really hard, because they just ramble on about stupid things. That have no meaning, except to themselves :')

Dorethea told Jace & Clary that, but it was never deciphered- we all assume it's Jace for her.
What if it's finally shed light on in CoHF? :)

But seriously- I think the Seelie Queen is going to do something to Clary for turning down her favour/offer thing!
Also, I think she wants Meliorn in the council so he can spy for her- but he not know that she's working for/with Sebastian??

And then Izzy and Jace will be tearing each other's throats out, and then Alec will kill Jace with a spoon or something for hitting Izzy, and then Magnus will spank Alec for being a naughty boy, and then Magnus's father will spank Magnus for spanking Alec …
Meliorn got a place in the council eventually. And he does know of the Queen and Sebastian's plans, because Meliorn and Sebastian talk in CoLS.

^^^ this is why I need to re-read! I forget these things!
I say the two are in cohoots with Sebastian then and it's like Malachai all over again. Except he got took down by a bloody bird :')

I'm surprised Clary didn't fall in love with the pigeon, because he did save her …

But I agree- I'm glad Hugin did right by his masters daughter.
Yes I agree with your theory- they very well could be linked together.
Something got me thinking yesterday- when Valentine met Raziel the angel said to him " Do you intend to challenge heaven like that other morning star whose name you bear, shadowhunter?"
Does that mean someone else who was a Morgenstern challenged heaven or someone else called Valentine?
What if the other "Valentine" was a angel, that got wronged or cast out?

The final instalment was originally going to be City of Glass, I think, so I'm not sure if the first and second sequel are connected, because the second sequel adapted to a whole new storyline with an entirely new villain.
I think if there's going to be any clues as to what happens in CoHF, you'll find them in TID. Like Sebastian's silver ring that allows him to travel to another dimension if he twisted it - that was mentioned in TID.

But instead... We got a crazy ass lady with freaky eyes, a crazy ass demon boy, a floating bubble as I called it, Simon fighting with women! :')

I wanted the series to finish at City of Glass because then no 'beloved characters' would have to die.
But then I'm glad it didn't finish then, because I honestly have no idea what I'd do without these books.
Oh, and of course, Sebastian would remain dead. That is another reason why …

But I'm curious of what Magnus and Tessa were talking about
I'm curious about how the Seelie Queen will deal with Clary turning down her favour/offer.
Then obviously- Sebastian just dissapearing- you never turn you're back on you're enemy before you know they can't come back.
Although- I am glad it wasn't the end because we got to see Simon have women trouble. :')

And all over the space of six months as well …
Maybe Magnus and Tessa were discussing Jem?
I don't know what else there is for those two to bond over. I guess we'll find out in The Last Hours.
In City of Fallen Angels Kaelie gave Clary a summoning bell thingie, and Clary later used it in City of Lost Souls to ask if the Queen would find Jace. Which then led to the Queen asking of a favour in return.
Sebastian made that mistake in City of Glass when he turned his back on Jace, and he pierced his spine and killed him.
I'm hoping he's learnt from that mistake …
Yeah, Simon, at first, never came across as a guy who'd have a girlfriend. No offense to the guy, but he just seemed too immature for him to be able to take a relationship seriously.
He's grown up a lot since then …

Then in 6 months, 6 people die...
Yeah, maybe Jem knows something about something and sent Tessa to tell Magnus! :) I can't wait for The Last Hours, I'm more excited for that, than TDA.
Well I just thought up a theory and put in on tumblr- Alec says about the queen doing what they want and they'd let her live- 'her' doesn't specifically mean the queen. What if they take so wine hostage- it could be Kaelie?
Yes, it's be ironic if that's how Jace died mind- the same lesson they both got taught- just Sebastian waited till CoHF to do it back..
I love Simon for those exact reasons- girls aren't his main priority- Clary and his family is. I love that he's grown up, but I miss the boy who came into the apartment saying he and Jesus had the quote the resemblance! :)
So I love Simon- but him and Isabelle suit more than him and Maia.
