Brian Flint | 1 comments Hi Everyone.

I'm Brian Flint. I'm on this group as both a reviewer and an author. I have two books self-published on Amazon (Just published the second one). I will be putting the info on those in the appropriate place.

I'm a social studies teacher, have my BA and MA in History, was in the USMC Reserves, love to hike, camp, fish, shoot, and anything else the outdoors can offer for cheap.

I haven't done a lot of reviews but feel it is helpful to the author and to me as an author.

I hope to be able to help as many as you as possible and hope to get a little help in return.

Thanks.

Thanks!

P.S. Gear | 3 comments Howdy!

I'm here to put out my novel out there for reviews. But I'm also here to read and discuss what my contemporaries are writing by doing some reviewing as well. It's one big community, right? I'd like to do my part to being a productive member of our writing world.

I have a few reviews already out there on Goodreads, ARCs I received from Our Write Side. I also have a few short stories (currently unpublished) and one novel.

I write and read in every genre. My novel is high fantasy. I'm editing a pop satire short story and currently writing a science fiction piece my nephew requested so he'd had something to read while in chemo.

That's pretty much it for me. I look forward to reading a ton, talking with y'all a lot, and dancing. There's always a lot of dancing.

Cheers!

E.M. Swift-Hook | 1 comments I have been lurking here a little so wanted to introduce myself.

I live in the NE of England and am brand new to the indie author experience having uploaded my first book, The Fated Sky, to Amazon in May and am presently waiting for the second volume to propagate from Amazon to Goodreads. Does that take a long time normally?

Hoping I can find friends, good reads to review - and garner a few reviews as well.

Matthew Newnham | 5 comments So here I am along with my buddy 6 year old Space Ranger Fred - he also says "hello" and really hopes some of you will love his first adventure and also his second one coming out real soon.
If I can get a word in, I am the author, Fred lives in my head but has become more than real, and I just love seeing kids "click" when they read a book or have a book read to them. I live in Cape Town and Fred could be on any planet anywhere in the universe. I, OK we, would love to connect and would love to also review a book or two.

I've read too many books to list, but will work on rating the ones I've completed. Does anyone have anything new and refreshing they recommend? I am starting to feel like I'm reading the same thing over and over. Maybe I've just read too many books? baaahhaahaa... I believe that's impossible... I welcome suggestions! Ian Mitchell-Gill | 6 comments Hello there from Canada! My name is Ian Mitchell-Gill and I have just published my first YA novel. Here it is:
Merrett's Gift
Merrett's Gift by Ian Mitchell Gill
I have read the rules and I will be asking for a review in the appropriate thread, but I did want to explain my situation. Here is the synopsis for anyone interested.
"When six “criminally gifted” teens are caught misapplying their talents, each is given an offer they can’t refuse: to train at a secret school and put their skills to work for their country, or face the most severe consequences for their crimes.
The kids arrive at the Brockmann School of Excellence full of resentment and suspicion, and their first impressions of the place only confirm their fears. Then they meet Mr. Merrett—the teacher who changes everything. Suddenly life is a lot more interesting! Challenged in ways they never imagined, the teens slowly begin to meld into a team capable of more than even their trainers realize.
A fun, suspenseful roller-coaster ride of a story, Merrett’s Gift follows the adventures of a group of teens hell-bent on living life on their own terms, and the mysterious teacher who makes it possible. But who is he, really? And why is he so secretive about his past?
Class is in session! Enjoy—but keep an eye on your valuables. And your passcodes. And your car . . ."

I really want to connect with readers and writers and this group looks amazing. I have a lot to learn and read! Thanks for having me. Your fan,

Ian

The Book Sale Scrounger (weabooaristotle) | 5 comments Heyo, I'm Scrounger, AKA Jessica. I've been getting more into the swing of leaving reviews lately, so I decided to pop in here. Plus, I've been working on an ebook or two, so maybe this'll come in handy. But for now, I'm just your average graphic novel and YA book fan. I've worked in a children's library this summer, so some of my recently read might reflect that. Hope to get to know some of you.

Sean Kerr | 7 comments Hi Everyone, my name is Sean Kerr and I am an author for Extasy books. My first two novels, Dead Camp 1 and 2 are available now on Extasy and all other electronic book sites.

The Dead Camp series is a paranormal romance, set during the Second World War. The saga takes place over various moments in history, including Victorian London and The Crucifixion, and is a complex story that weaves together each book. I am currently waiting for my publisher to release Dead Camp 3 as I now start to write the fourth book. There will be five in total, ending with the downfall of Hitler.

Be warned though, the books do get a bit graphic, both from a violent perspective and sex. The
main characters are also all gay.

Thank you for reading this and I look forward to meeting you xxxx

Luca Ferrarini (luca_ferrarini) Hello!
I work as a project manager in the IT sector, but in my free time (read very early morning and late nights) I enjoy spending time writing. Being also a father of a lovely daughter (with a second one on her way) you can imagine how difficult it has been to write my very first novel (Italian edt, Il Sicomoro di Sofia).

The English edition is out now (Sofia's Sycamore) and I am very much looking forward to find some people interested in reading it and, possibly, reviewing it.

So for now, I just say HI. I'll tell you more in the appropriate section.

Nice meeting you all
