Or are you talking about perspectives?

Or are you..."
I'm talking about how the character sees things. For example, when a character shares their side of the story, we are seeing their point of view. They don't have to be narrating the whole book.

I would say that we are talking a little about characterization. We are focusing more on the characters perspective. Point of view does have some characterization to it though. The way that Teresa saw the situation (Being mean to Thomas, but doing it to save his life) was P.O.V. She knew that it was all fake and she was playing a role. However, Thomas sees the situation differently. He thinks that she has completely changed and gone crazy.

I'm not really sure if this is point of view. I think this might be more characterization. However, I guess that the way Brenda see's Jorge is point of view. We are looking through Brenda's lens.
