This week, I'm learning about point of view. The whole book is written in a 3rd person point of view, but we can still see different characters points of view. One example is with Thomas and trusting Teresa. Thomas is confused by Teresa. At first, he see's her as the same person he saw in the maze. However, Teresa already knows whats happening. She sees the situation as a mission while Thomas sees if differently. Please let me know about different P.O.V's you find.

Are you talking about characterization (how people are described and introduced) or how the point of view affects the story. Because otherwise it is just third person limited omniscientOr are you talking about perspectives?
Another point of view I think is with Jorge and Brenda. Brenda did not see Jorge as a person who would run away.
Yes we are talking about characterization and how Teresa changed. Maybe even Thomas. Teresa turned on Thomas and Tomas thought she was part of wicked but later on he realized she was doing it for good.

I'm talking about how the character sees things. For example, when a character shares their side of the story, we are seeing their point of view. They don't have to be narrating the whole book.
Sean wrote: "Yes we are talking about characterization and how Teresa changed. Maybe even Thomas. We are focusing more on the characters perspective. Point of view does have some characterization to it though. The way that Teresa saw the situation (Being mean to Thomas, but doing it to save his life) was P.O.V. She knew that it was all fake and she was playing a role. However, Thomas sees the situation differently. He thinks that she has completely changed and gone crazy.
Josh wrote: "Another point of view I think is with Jorge and Brenda. Brenda did not see Jorge as a person who would run away."I'm not really sure if this is point of view. I think this might be more characterization. However, I guess that the way Brenda see's Jorge is point of view. We are looking through Brenda's lens.
Take Minho's perspective: he is unsure who the leader is. Is it him as wicked said or is it Thomas who told him that he was the leaders but still takes charge regularly. Does he want Thomas to be the leader?
Well reading your post I reread the book and Minho was sure if who the leader was until Jorge entered the story. Then Minho was unsure whether or not he or Jorge should be the leader. Although Thomas knows wicked Jorge still has more experience in the Scorch.
