Liz (liz_the_librarian) Announcement: American Gods books have arrived so if you're still looking for a copy, let me know, and I'll set one aside.

Don't forget! The 52 Book Pickup Potluck is December 7. Mark it on your calendar now so you can join us for a fun evening. We will talk about the challenge and discuss American Gods.

I also have some news. I will be moving on to a new job next week, so this is my last week with the Chesapeake Public Library. I will still remain active in this community. However, another CPL staff member will be taking over as the main moderator of this group. It has been a pleasure getting to "know" all of you through your book choices, and I hope to see you all at the Potluck in December!

And, without further ado... Share what you are reading this week!

My fiancé has been watching The Walking Dead like it's his job lately, so that encouraged me to pick up the comic books. I've read the first two volumes and am planning to work through the rest over the next couple of weeks.

I finished Interworld by Neil Gaiman & Michael Reaves, and am also reading Black Earth: The Holocaust as History and Warning (and NetGalley book- fascinating in a scare your pants off sort of way), Storm Warning by Mercedes Lackey, and also The Story of English in 100 Words (on sale as a Nook Book). Oh, and I finally got the new J.D. Robb from the library (Devoted in Death).

Jodie Reha We will miss you! Good luck and much success to you as you start your newest adventure!!
I am all over the place with my reading. I have started about 10-12 books lately, and they have all piled up by my bed. Right now, I am reading The Killing Lessons by Saul Black. This one definitely has my undivided attention! Creepy!
