Ajax pouted cutely. "But I want to walk." She whined, and smirked when Marie pulled on her hair. "You're not five. Stop whining like that." She said sternly.
Ajax blushed. "Sorry mom."

"I do love being in your arms babe but I I haven't walked on my own two feet properly since I've been here." She said, extending her foot out and poking his stomach.
Marie finished with her hair and kissed the top of her head. "There you go. Let me put this back on you." She grabbed the canola and put it around Ajax's head and into her nose.

"I want to walk until I get tired." She said determinedly, then nodded, rotating her body she her legs dangled off the bed. She reached out and grasped Scott's forearms and scooted forward until her feet touched the floor. With a grunt, she stood up, sighing once she was on her own two feet.

Ajax nodded and wrapped her arms around his neck and rested her head lightly on his shoulder.
"Don't be to long okay?" Marie said, slightly worried for her daughter.

"Oh," she said. "We're going outside? They'll see that I'm not in a wheelchair then." She frowned. "I thought we were just going to walk the hallways." She said, holding her IV pole beside them and rolling it along.

"Oh okay." She nodded and smiled at up at him but then looked to side at where they were going. The sun was bright so she cringed briefly and blinked her eyes until she adjusted.

Ajax exhaled softy when the kiss broke, pressing her forehead to his. She giggled when he said that. "Why? Do you need a machine to tell you how fast my heart is beating?" She murmured, then took one of his hands in hers and gently placed it above her left breast. "When you can just feel it yourself?"

Ajax kissed him back all the more, then rested her head against his shoulder, nodding in agreement. It was sad how often she's been in the hospital. "I consider this place a second home to be honest." She murmured.

Ajax lifted her head, resting her chin gently o his chest. "Really? She wouldn't mind?" She asked with a small smile. Of course she believed him but she still thought the thought of her being at his place all the time without his mother getting annoyed was surreal.

Ajax giggled and nodded in agreement. However, she hoped they'd never break up, as extreme as it sounded. "Did you just take me out here so you could kiss me without my mother watching?" She waggled her brows.

Ajax smirked and scratched her nose. "Well then let's walk." She giggled and took his hand and her pole, starting to walk froward slowly.

Ajax scrunched up her nose when he kissed her nose, giggling cutely. "Neither would I. Thanks for the best two months of my life." She pecked his lips lightly.

A few minutes went by until Ajax suddenly woke up. She blinked her eyes open and looked around, terrified to move. She knew what a migraine felt like, and it didn't matter that she didn't move. As soon as her brain picked up that she was awake, the nausea and pain settled in. She rolled off Scott, gasping. She sat up quickly and covered her mouth, but she puked anyways all over her lap. Ajax cried and started to shake.

Marie woke up quickly, scrambling out of her cot. She ran over to her daughters side and pulled the soaked covers off her as she grabbed a bucket, holding it in front of Ajax's face. "Let it out honey. Shh." She rubbed her back.
Ajax gripped the bucket and puked again, heaving into the bucket as she sobbed hysterically.

"All I have is a hospital gown for you to change into." Marie said, going up to her and pulling up Ajax's tank top. To weak and sick to care, Ajax barely lifted her arms over her head for her mom. She had on a sports bra.

A nurse came in with the doctor, flicking on the lights. "Migraine?" He asked, walking up to her bed.
Ajax replied with a soft whine. She leaned her lead back against Scott, suddenly extremely exhausted.

Ajax cried softly still, curling up against Scott, gripping his shirt tightly,

Ajax kept her eyes closed, but she was still conscious. "I'm so sorry." She cried, sniffling like a child.

Ajax sighed deeply. He was right. But she hated that this was happening after their convo earlier that day. She didn't like being incapable of just living without any complications. Ajax held her bucket and then gagged. She sat up a little and pulled again into the bucket, but now as badly as before. Instinctively, she started crying again.

Ajax dry heaved into the bucket, softly whimpering each time. Once that wave was over she rested her head back against him and swallowed hard, slightly panting. She closed her eyes when he wiped her tears away. "Water." She whispered hoarsely, coughing slightly.
The doctor came up to her with a small glass of water. "Here you are. Where does it hurt the most Ajax?" He asked, helping her take a few sips of the water.
Ajax touched the front, slightly to the left of her head, where the tumour is.
()remind me what's gonna happen with the assumption of cheating))

"I know sweetie." He sighed. "We'll get that fixed up for you. Just hang in there and get some sleep." He patted her shoulder before leaving the room.
"Her bed is ready." One of the nurses said, fluffing up a pillow.
Marie came back in with years in her eyes.

Ajax curled up in bed, pulling the covers up to her chin, almost instantly she was fast asleep.
Marie looked at him and nodded. "Yeah I'm just...tired is all." She bit her lip and busied herself with emptying Ajax's puke bucket. She then turned to him again. "Scott, why don't you go home and get some proper rest?" She said softly. "She's going to be asleep for a while. She'd want you to get some rest." She touched his shoulder.

Marie nodded with a small smile. "Thank you for making her as happy as you do. In the past this was always hard because it was just us two and neither of us never thought to lay in bed with her." She sighed, placing the bucket by the bed. "I need to go talk to Cal." He said, then swiftly left.
Almost as if she knew he was in bed with her now in her sleep, Ajax rolled onto her back, then onto her other side so she was facing him.

Ajax stayed asleep for the rest of the night and all into the morning. Both Cal and Marie were back in the room by noon, packing up their things quietly. They were told that someone else needed the room more than Ajax did at the moment, so she was able to go home. Her parents have dealt with migraines on their own before anyways.
Marie let both of them( especially Scott)) sleep for as long as she could before she walked up the bed and touched his shoulder gently. "Scott? We have to go soon. All of us". She said softly.

Marie left them alone to fully wake up, gathering up a pair of clothes for Ajax to change into.
Ajax shifted under the covers and whined, but woke up anyways. She felt a lot better already. "Where are we going?" She mumbled cutely then yawned. She blinked her eyes open slowly and rubbed them like a toddler who just woke up from a nap.

"How you feeling sweetheart?" She smoothed back her hair.
"A lot better." She smiled and sat up with a grunt.

A nurse came in and started to unhook Ajax from her IV and what not. "She's right." The nurse tossed Scott a look but then giggled.

Ajax came out of the bathroom a few minutes later with Roots track pants on and a fitted black-neck t shirt. Her hair was out, cascading in small waves down her back.
