((Lol! It really is like a burning pinching sensation))"Maybe two hours? Hour and a half at least. We're not to busy so". He shrugged and scooted close to Scott on his wheelie chair.
Ajax squeezed his hand and smiled.
((Yeah. Like it hurts but it's tolerable. And the artist usually takes the needle off the skin every ten seconds or so ))"If you need a break just let me know." Leonard said, then turned on his needle, filling the room with a buzzing sound.
"Show me how tough you are." She looked at him and smiled, just as the needle pressed into his arm.
((I hear ya lol))Ajax giggled a little as he winced, squeezing his hand lightly. She moved her other hand up his arm, rubbing it gently. "You okay?" She asked.
"You may have mentioned it a few times." She giggled and looked over at Leonard's work. After almost a half hour, it was halfway done. "My co-worker Emily can draw up your tattoo if you want, Ajax." Leonard said as he re-inked his needle."Yeah sure." Ajax smiled.
"You can take a few minutes to stretch if you want. I need to take leak." He chuckled.Emily poked her head in. "Mind if I steal your girl for a few minutes?" She asked Scott.
"I'll see you soon." She pecked his lips and followed Emily out. Leonard left the room and came back a few minutes later. He pointed at a picture on the wall of someone's back that had many different tattoos blended together, some of wolves outline and others words in a symbols. "Guess who's back that is?"
Leonard nodded, sitting back down in his hair. "You wouldn't guess that a business man like himself had that on his back." He chuckled. "But they cover up the scars so I understand." He said without much thought as he went back to tattooing Scott.
"Yeah. That man has been through some wicked shit. I admire him a lot." Leonard said as he worked. Ajax came back with a small smile. "Hey." She plopped down beside Scott and held out her arm, showing him the outline of her tattoo. The word was written in small font.
"She does." Ajax smiled.Leonard nodded. "She usually does tattoos with writing in them. Most of the time she doesn't even have to print out a font. She can just copy it." Leonard chuckled. He looked a little mystical, like a man in love.
Ajax giggled and pecked him on the lips. "You're adorable." She smiled, then looked at Leonard. "So I noticed that Emily has a ring on her finger." She grinned. Leonard blushed and didn't look up from his work. "Yeah and?"
Ajax squealed. "Congrats!"
"Thanks." he muttered, but was smiling. "I'm just about done." He said.Ajax peaked over at it and smiled. "Wow...it looks awesome!"
Leonard nodded and continued to work, concentrating hard.Ajax squeezed Scott's other arm and pecked his cheek.
"Want to get lunch after this?" Ajax asked. "There a cute little restaurant around the block that that my dad used to take me to when I was little." She smiled.
"We can walk." She giggled, but nodded."There; all done." Leonard said and cleaned it off. "I'll let you look at it in the mirror before I wrap it up," he took off his gloves.
Ajax stood up also and joined him by his side, gazing at my the tattoo as well. It really did look amazing. It suited him perfectly. "Scott...consider this your early birthday present from me to you." She said, coming up with that decision on the spot. That tattoo was going to be expensive and didn't want to crush his happy mood.
Ajax shook her head along with him. "This clearly isn't a car, Scott. I just really want to get this for you. Or at least the piecing. Please?" She pouted cutely. "Look how happy you are." She hugged his arm.
"Yay!" She cheered, clapping her hands. She laughed and kissed his cheek back then stepped aside for Leonard who came up to them and wrapped plastic wrap around Scott's forearm. "Keep this on for about four hours. You'll start to scan soon so apply cream in it twice a day and also clean with cold water. Oh, and try not to get it to wet in the shower. I'll also give you a list of the same instructions."
"I'll do your piercing while Emily does her tattoo. Unless you want to be there when she gets it done." Leonard said."Up to you babe." She squeezed Scott's hand.
Ajax looked over at Leonard. "Sure thing. I'll have Emily do your tattoo while I do the piercing." He said.
Emily peaked in. "Follow me over to my station." She smiled, and Ajax took Scott's hand and flowed Emily. Without even needing to be asked, she sat down on the chair. Emily got into her own chair and started to get her things together.
"We can do it here. Let me just get another chair," Leonard left.
Ajax smiled and kissed him back and broke away a few seconds later. "It really is." She giggled.Leonard came back with a chair. "Here you go," he smiled.
Leonard got his things together and got a disinfectant whip. "Just lift your head for me." He said, then whipped above his eyebrow where the piercing would go.Ajax waited patiently, but has a slight frown on her lips.
"Okay. Now just take a few deep breaths. This will be quick," he got his things ready. "One..two..three!" He said, then pierced Scott's eyebrow smoothly.Ajax squeezed his hand tightly for support.
"There. I'll have a list of rules for this as well but they're not that extreme. Basically don't take it out for at least a month and if it looks like it's infected, come back." He put his things away. "Let me see." Ajax murmured, looking over at him.
"I'll get you a mirror." Leonard chuckled and left the room for a second. Ajax didn't react to his accent. She smiled at the piercing. "It looks awesome. And it suits you." She said.
"Something from Ajax?" Emily asked.
Ajax shrugged. "Just have a small headache is all."
"I'm serious." She said, noticing that he didn't look like he believed her. Headaches always made her nervous because of her condition. Leonard came back with a mirror, handing it to Scott. "What do you think?" He asked.
"No problem. I'll be in the front getting the papers and prices together when you're all done." He smiled then left."Ready?" Emily asked Ajax.
She nodded. "Yeah."
Emily turned on the needle and pressed it to Ajax's wrist. She didn't even flinch.
"Like I've said before, I don't mind." Ajax giggled , and rested her head against his that was on her shoulder. She pursed her lips slightly when the pain got a little bad, but other than that she was fine.
Ajax laughed lightly and handed him his shirt. She was still wearing his flannel. He didn't really need it that badly at this moment anyways. "Now see if it were your lip?" She teased.
She nodded with a dramatic sigh, but then smiled. I'll just have to find other places to kiss you in the meantime." She said with a mischievous grin on her face.
She blushed and bit down on her lip, looking at him affectionately. She then looked down at the tattoo. It was is halfway finished because it was small.
"Oh stop." She giggled cutely and rested her head back against the chair was sitting in. All the giggling was putting affect onto her headache, but she was used to it by now. "Yeah it does." She smiled.
She shook her head gently. "Na, I'll be fine. On so eat something it should go away." She said, rubbing her thumb along his knuckles absently.
"Oh?" She glanced over at him. She would have never guessed he was allergic to that. "That's what I usually use for my headaches but I can only take one or it'll mess up my other medication." She said, then shrugged her shoulders a little. Ajax furrowed her brows when the pain of the needle jabbing into her skin got a little painful.
Ajax was grateful of his distraction. She closed her eyes and took a few deep breaths, nodding. "God I hate dentists. Nothing about the place makes anyone feel safe. What I hate the most is the smell. It lingers with you even after you leave." She shivered.
Ajax opened her eyes, gasping. "Oh my god really? Can't you sue him for making a huge mistake like that?" She asked, shocked.((I've gotten my wisdom teeth out in the summer...it wasn't fun lol I had the worse recovery possible))
Ajax shivered again and made a face. "Blah. No." She said, then giggled. "All done." Emily smiled and wiped her tattoo off.
Ajax looked down at it and grinned. "I love it!"
((I had to get six of my teeth removed in order to get my braces on..))"You can take a look in the mirror if you want while i get the wrappings ready." She moved to the side.
Ajax nodded and got up, walking over to the mirror. She held her arm straight down at her side and smiled. It was small but readable. "I love it." She murmured.
((oooh. Do you plan on getting them removed?))Ajax leaned back against him and smiled when he kissed her cheek. She slowly turned around in his arms. "Thank you." She whispered, meaning thanks to him for considering her so fearless. Ajax rose up on her toes a little bit and kissed his lips sweetly.
(ooh lol!!))Ajax bit her lip as he said that, and released it in order to kiss him again, lighter this time. They did have an audience after all. "You're just being you. And I really, really like you." She smiled, caressing his cheek.
Ajax really bit down hard on her lip now, her stomach twisting and turning at his affection. She smiled at him and blushed when Emily cleared her throat. "Sorry.." She giggled and walked up to Emily and let her wrap her arm up in plastic wrap.
"I'll be paying for half of it," she said with a smirk, then puckered her lips at him."There you're both set. Leonard will have the instructions of taking care of your tattoos and piercing up front as well as your bill. Thanks guys!" Emily smiled.
"No thank you." Ajax hugged her lightly. "I expect a wedding invite okay?"
Emily laughed and nodded. "Of course."
"Of course she is." Leonard laughed and typed a few buttons on the debit machine before sliding it over to him go finish the transaction. "I would disappointed if she didn't."Ajax rolled her eyes and opened her wallet. "I'll pay his half with debit as well but I'll pay mine with cash." She told Leonard.
Ajax took his place and slid her card into the machine and punched her code. She then put it back in her wallet and handed Leonard the cash. He gave her the change back. "Thanks guys! Don't be shy to come by for a chat if you're ever in the area." He smiled
Leonard blushed again and shrugged. "Thanks." He chuckled. "See you both. Tell your dad I say hi Ajax." Ajax nodded and started to lead Scott towards the exit. "Will do!"
"Just down the street here." She tugged on his hand and led him down the street, squeezing his hand lightly. ((Idk if you want to wait until after their lunch date to skip or))
((Okay! So Ajax won't be at school, so....want me to just start with Cal calling him?)$
((KK))A few weeks later during a normal day at school, it was already lunch time and Ajax wasn't at school. It took Cal forever to figure out what Scott's phone number was, because he tried a million times to guess Ajax's phone password. But eventually he figured it out and called Scott.
"Hm." She hummed, gazing at her wrist. "I want the font small so it shouldn't be to bad. Some places will hurt more than others." She said.
