Ideas can be gleaned from this Listopia: https://www.goodreads.com/list/show/6...I've read, and want to read, many of them, but I nominate the one I own but have not yet read:

Thanks for posting the link to the list, Cheryl. I had read a blurb about Mockingbird but couldn't remember the title! About a girl with Aspergers.

Thank you for this! It reminded me of the two I would like to nominate:
Out of My Mind and
Wonder

The Danger Box by Blue Balliett. All of the suggestions are fabulous though. I've read or listened to all of them already. Wonder is great as an audiobook, it's recorded by a full cast.
Some good nominations here. Bumping the thread to see if anyone else wants to add a title -- I'll set up the poll tomorrow. And remember, we leave all BOTM threads up for at least 6 months, so there's plenty of time to chime in on the discussions.

Too late to add Hurt Go Happy by Ginny Rorby? About a deaf girl who learns sign language from a rescue chimp. Wonderful story on how we connect with animals and each other.
