Roleplay with characters from your story

I cannot see,
you by my side.
It was hard,
I swear I tried.
The sky was dark,
the moon was lost.
The water still,
frozen;frost.
"I don't think they'll go in with her."

There was what seemed to be shuffling of papers over a loud speaker system. The dark metal of the room was still getting heated up as they searched
Then the man spoke
"It was the day that you went to the ocean that you met Patrik wasn't it?" He asked almost interestedly
Emmy froze, every peice of anger in her dying
"What? How do you know about that?"
"I don't really think it matters." Josiah told him

Damien shrugged. "What about Salem?"

"You were running an errand for Gawain correct?" He recieved no answer. Emmy just glared up at them. They got tired of her disrespect and pressed a button. Emmy was hit with enough electricity to power a small city. She fell to her knees panting and shaking at the mercy of the prison she was in.
"If she needs to she could, but not like Emmy can." Josiah said

Nothing to live,
to die, to save.
Just you and I,
but we're not brave.
The new ones come,
with courage to spare.
They wave their swords,
their souls are bare.
"No, I mean she's so close to Emmy, will she be fine?"

"Patrik found you? Shadows had met you when you got there, you weren't as in control then as you are now." the man pressed
Emmy couldn't help but remember
A thick wall of black rushed her catching her in the middle of it all in time to the crashing of the ocean like some horrid symphony. Fire was at her side before she even knew what she was supposed to do with it, buring and nipping at her as well as the Shadows unsure of its master as of yet. This just angered them and she heard more than felt her body connect with the water worn rocks of the cave she was in. Slipping to the floor she jumped to her feet letting fire creep into the air around her, she hurled it at the few Shadows she could see. It didn't do much, so she let the fire die and she rushed the Shadows, Fey knife in hand and dispatched them. She stood still as she surveyed the damage before her, blood like ink seeping from the wounds she had inflicted on them. There was no noise, no sounds as to indicate that she had missed one, but she had and by the time she noticed it was too late. It was on her choking the life out of her, then he was there. A boy with a halo of blonde hair and the bluest eyes she had ever seen. She felt the Shadow behind her stiffen and break within seconds, falling to her knees again she gulped in huge mouthfuls of air.
Halo boy ran to her side
"You ok?" He asked concern taking residency in his too blue eyes.
Emmy wasn't yet able to manage more than a nod
"Let's get you out of here." he held a hand to her, which she took gratefully
"I'm Patrik." he said taking her bruised and bloody form in
"Emmy." She managed
Josiah nodded
"Emmy knows enough now. Salem will be fine."

They do not think,
don't love, don't see,
what this world
could truly be.
They came,they did,
destroyed this earth.
Their laughter oddly
void of mirth.
Your tears and mine
fall like dust.
Ashes,fire,
broken trust.
Damien nodded. "As long as they don't break."

"Thus the pair was born." he sounded smug
Emmy was confused
"Yeah, but i don't see why that's important."
((Ok I'm going to freak Emmy out. None of it will be real of course, it's just to freak her out enough that she will work for them.))
Josiah looked at Damien
"Emmy has more weaknesses than Salem does, Emmy still feels guilty for things that weren't her fault and they can play on that, as well as her feelings for Patrik. And Salem, they can play on her feelings for me and mine for her."

It's the end,
not time to fear.
The end of us
is not quite here.
The end of the poem struck her and she started laughing quietly. "I can't believe I forgot that...thank-you."
Damien pushed his hair back from his face. "Right."

"It's of the utmost importance, seeing as we put him there."
Emmy felt her heart stop moving
"What does that mean?"
"It means we placed him there. We phisically placed him in your life Emmeline. It was his job to love you, that was what he was made for. Patrik was created so he could be placed in your life so he could love you. Once you had been created, we needed something to balance you. You, who were pure destruction could only be balanced out by something of pure creation."
"You're lying." Emmy said firmly
"No, we're not."((In a way they are.)) he said "Look in your heart you know that makes sense."
"You're lying." She said again, as if repetition would make it so.
Josiah shook his head
"We're screwed."

Emmy's body had stopped being under her control
"No, that's not true."
"You believeing it will not make it so!" Said the man firmly
"Yeah no kidding!" Josiah said

Salem wanted to throttle that man. He deserved anything that came to him. Ever.
Damien didn't answer.

Emmy shook her head
"Actually it does." she could feel the fire erupting on the floor of the place they were in.
Josiah shook his head.
"Im waiting for you to get the call that says she snapped and the whole cell block is ruined."

Damien sighed. "Well I'll tell you when I do...but there was a text about extreme heat."

"Alright."

Really Salem?
Then everything went black as she hit the floor.
"What did we tell you? You will learn to listen..." the voice said as she faded.
Josiah wished he was in the loop. Now was one of the times he wished Salem was in his head.

Damien brightened. "I have a plan."

"Emmy." Aloysia sighed, looking relieved to see her daughter here.
Emmy groaned
"I go from one kidnapping to another..."
Josiah looked up at this
"Well spill!"

"My laptop. We can watch the security cameras and get the update feed, live."

"Tell Salem I'm alright." she demanded
Aloysia nodded and allowed Emmy's thought to reach her
My God Damned mother... the people knocked me out. I'm with my mother. she wasn't too happy about it.
josiah grinned
"You're a genius"

Damien bowed mockingly and went to get his laptop. "I know."

Emmy looked at her mom
"What no Roseline?"
"No not today." Aloysia answered softly
Emmy fell silent, questions settled on her lips like birds on a telephone wire.
"What is it Emmy?" Her mother asked patiently, sounding like the mother in her memories.
Josiah laughed
"good."

Damien came back a moment later and put his laptop on the table, typing in numerous passwords until the proper screens popped up.

"Your not really her, can you stop acting like it?"
Aloysia looked confused
"What do you mean?"
"Stop pretending to be my mother." She growled
Josiah looked at him sideways
"Why so many passwords?" he couldn't help but ask.

Damien shrugged. "This place puts passwords on everything. But we have camera, sound, and feed updates now." He turned the laptop to face Josiah.

Emmy shook her head
"Thanks Man." Josiah said enlarging Salem's room feed.

I cry without tears
and raindrops fall
surrogates of what should be
falling and trailing down my face. Salem laughed again, adding a flower next to that one. It clashed, the sadness and the happiness. That's why she liked it.

"Dude take a look at that."
"Just let me get back to my torture session. I expect they're really mad now..." Sarcasam being her only refuge.

Josiah laughed
"I think she is..."
Aloysia looked at her
"You'd rather go back to them then just sit here for a little while?"
"Yeah. Pretty much."

He chuckled, sitting back in his chair. "Well that's one way to get rid of your problems."
Salem looked at one of the cameras briefly before going back to the scene she was drawing on the back wall.

Josiah smirked and sat back.
Aloysia sighed and rolled her eyes
Emmy looked expectantly at her
"Come on, sometime today."
"No. You're here untill they come to get you?"
Emmy's mood did a 360
"So what? THis is yet another trap?" She growled

Damien watched the screen closely. "I wonder how she's getting around the blocks..."
Salem didn't pay the cameras any more attention, though it felt like people were watching. Most likely, they were.

Josiah shook his head
"Same way Emmy did I guess.."
"No this is what it is." Aloysia said
"Stop with the mind warping. I have better things to do then figure out your phrases!" Emmy exclaimed

Josiah zoomed in on it
"A poem I believe."
"you can leave on your own." Aloysia told her
"Oh. My. God."
((Now I'm just being annoying.))

"You never know."
Emmy heard Aloysia laugh softly and then she woke up on the floor of her cell.

Josiah zoomed in on it.
"Sorta but just barely."

Damien shrugged. "You can ask her about it later I guess."
Salem felt Emmy come back. How'd it go?

JOsiah nodded then noticed
"Emmy's back..."
Shitty. Same as usual... Emmy glared at a wall.

Of course it did. So was your mom any better? Worse? Stalemate? Salem finished up the picture and sat down, wiping her hands on the white shirt she wore.
Damien watched. "I guess Salem noticed too."

She was as she always is. A pain in the ass and not really what she is supposed to be. Emmy shrugged mentally but couldn't help but flashback to the memory that Josiah had dug up.
Josiah nodded
"Apparently"

"You do know that we know better than to send people in there with you right? We know all about you, we know how much pressure we need to apply before you will do anything we ask. Thanks to your brother, we own your memories, we have everything we need to make your life a living hell Emmeline"
Emmy sighed sounding bored and overly angry at the same time
"I've been to hell, it's a lot worse than anything you can come up with."
Josiah nodded
"She's going to snap and kill everyone, just like she did the time Patrik was stabbed."
