Yeah but then that wouldnt be fair because when one person asks to be a mod, everyone gets jealous and asks to be a mod. And then either everyones a mod, or everyone except the person who asked, is upset...
...so maybe if you could pick mods based off of if their willing to do mod stuff instead of abuse the power?

Most people look at being a mod as to Godship
And I know you can easily control and say no to people, but you cant stop people from thinking.

It's alright. They must obey the main mod's order no matter what :P. I mean it's his group and his idea, the least they can do is obey him..

I just joined the group but wanted to know if was able to post my Journal? Not sure what the protocol of the group is, weather I needed permission from a mod or not.

Just go under the topic 'Request a Journal' and just ask. A MOD (such as myself would give you permission, than you can create your journal and do whatever you wish.

Just remember to also create the 'Your Thoughts on...'

I have a question/suggestion.
But first I'd like to say I like the idea/theme of this group.

Please don't take this the wrong way, I'm really not meaning to be a smarta**. it kinda occurred to me that the 'Ask for a journal' thread might be a bit unnecessary. I mean if the purpose of the group is for just that, wouldn't save the mods a lot of time if it were just stated in the rules or introduction that everyone post a Journal and a 'thought about ____ journal' thread?..idk unless there is another purpose behind asking first.

Also a suggestion for organization to consider might be to break the journals up into categories. Otherwise that one topic is going to become overwhelming at some point. In my writing group I let everyone create a writing folder and I have it broken up A-J then J- whatever and so on. That way there's three topics instead of one.

Just some thoughts, being the newbie I hope I don't sound like a know it all or whatever, not my intentions.

I have a suggestion:
What if we made an "Other Stuff" Folder? We could have the Request write ins and journals there, and also have a journal directory. And yes, I will make that! It just might make it easier to find.

Again breaking the journals up into alphabetical categories would make it a LOT easier to navigate as well. The number is accumulating which is great though its getting harder to find my own journal, I wonder if others are having the same difficulty.

May I be a Mod? Do I need to fill something out or are you not accepting anymore? The number of MODs is off and an odd number. XP And I love this group, although I haven't been active as I was on vacation. I will be now, especially once my school gets over. :P
