Time for another update! I've read five more picks, bringing the total to 15 - yay! And I should finish another tomorrow too!Group 2:
Elke - Cold-Hearted Rake by Lisa Kleypas 11.4.15 - Really enjoyable! And good in audio, even with a new to me narrator!
LaurLa - Better Homes and Hauntings by Molly Harper 11.6.15 - Light, fun and wonderful to listen to - just like I expected!
Katie - All or Nothing by C.J. Anthony 11.7.15 - So stinking sweet!
Penney - Remember When by Nora Roberts 11.12.15 - Really good, I liked getting the beginning and end of the story!
Sassafrass - Play by Kylie Scott 11.14.15 - I don't know why these books work for me, but they really do. I'm looking forward to more!

Diane~Firefly How to Eat a Cupcake It was good and at the same time the characters annoyed me!
Ezi The Shining Glad I read it but it is definitely more eerie than it is actually scary. I want to see the movie now.
Holli Devoted in Death Either I'm starting to get annoyed with this series or they are all starting to sound the same! Pretty formulaic but missing the extra fun side characters that make the series more interesting.
Jody The Truth as He Knows It AUGH. That's how I felt during a lot of this book. The characters were driving me insane!
Kathy D Word Play I wanted to like this book more than I did. The premise was cute and I enjoyed the satire of the romance industry but at the same time, it irked the you know what out of me.
Krissy The Professional Holy hotness Batman. The back and forth made me a little cranky but dang, hottie alpha male.
Larissa For You Pretty good Ashley as usual. I see a theme in her books but I like this one better than the motorcycle series.
Logan Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe I loved every minute of this book, even the cringeworthy ones. So glad I read it!
Mai All the Light We Cannot See Slow to start but I liked how the characters all tied together. Ended up really liking it but needed a fast paced book after I finished :)
Sallie The Girl You Left Behind Not my favorite Moyes. Way too slow and lacking in some parts.

JoJo, Sunshine and Raine - so the Gyspy Brothers books. I kind of liked them, they are not the best written story and I wish she had done them as two or three longer books than the way she did it. My biggest issue was believability - yes I know this is fiction that I was reading ....but come on - what girl is gonna put herself through what she's doing without vomiting and being able to keep her self respect. I get she wanted justice but I would think there had to have been a different way to go about it. That said I had to finish them. I just have to get Zero Hour sometime when it is on sale. I got the whole series 1-7 when on sale for I think a dollar - so for a dollar it's a steal :)

I finished another book:Stephanie - Hooked: A Stepbrother Romance by Iris Parker Finished 12/1 ★★
This book started off really slow and I couldn't connect with the characters but about a third of the way through Simon and Emilia started to grow on me a little. I think what kept me Hooked was the journal entries at the end of each chapter that were written by Simon, those little blurbs gave me much more insight on the way he was then the anything else. It was a nice story about a man that wanted to right the wrongs that he did as a teenager, I wish that I was able to give it more than two stars but sadly for me it just fell short.
Ok, for my group. I finished ALL of my books with some extras that were picked. I just have to update. I'll give you all a little blurb maybe later this week. Sorry work has been brutal.

Jennifer - Hawk by Abigail Graham Finished 12/13 ★★★★
If you read and enjoyed Paradise Falls you'll want to read this book. Hawk was sent away by his father four years earlier with the threat of having Alex taken, beaten and raped by his men unless he stayed away. Well, if that doesn't work I really don't know what will. It's insane the craziness that runs ramped in Paradise Falls, all the men in power are dirty and corrupt why is that? Maybe it's something in the water there ;) anyway, it has taken Hawk four years but he's returned and he plans on taking his father down...well, that was until he found out that his dad married Alex's mom and now Alex is living under his fathers roof. Needless to say Hawk isn't happy about that and he is going to do everything he can in order to protect Alex the way he should have done four years ago.
I love Alex and Hawk together and May (Alex's younger sister) is a breath of fresh air. Jacob and Jennifer from Paradise Falls play important rolls in this story and it is just as action packed as Paradise Falls was. I look forward to seeing what else happens in Paradise Falls and maybe May will get her own story somewhere down the road.
KellyJo - Bossy: A Stepbrother Romance by Kim Linwood Finished 12/7 ★★★★
The book starts off on a serious note, Claire is at a Frat Party that her ex-fiancée is trying to get in to make amends, you see Michael was caught in their bed with some hookup so Claire broke-up with him and through him out of their apartment, Claire wants no part of it she is done with him and when Declan sees what is happening he steps in to help her out. Long story short Michael is forced out and later on that night Claire and Declan wind up in bed together. They both agree to it being a one night hookup so it's no surprise when she wakes up and he's gone. Fast forward four months and they meet again when Claire is the new intern at his families Law Firm. Not only a new intern but also his future stepsister. YIKES!
This was a fun read, I loved all the pranks that Claire and Declan played on one another and all of the lawyer jokes that Carl told. While there was some serious issues being dealt with the humor helped keep the story light and fun. Very Enjoyable read.

I had higher hopes for this book, but I guess something told me not to rush to read it.
It was an OK read, not something I would read again and even though I am interested in the secondary characters I don't think I will continue this series.
This is a paranormal book set in a dystopian world which started to read as more of a YA but then about halfway through the sex scenes started and they kept going and going and going...seriously I love a good erotic romance but staying in a burning building to have a quicky just isn't hot which is what I would think the author was going for...it's stupid, and that is only one of the many issues I had with this book. I was seriously considering giving this book one star but I went with two because there were parts that were very enjoyable unfortunately there weren't many of them.

Me too! round 12 was one of my worst. I still have 12 books outstanding from that one. I will get to them though

√Jojo - Revenge by Meli Raine finished 1/31 ★★★
Carrie and Mark grow closer, Amy is still missing. We learn more about Mark working undercover for the DEA and his part in Carrie's father's arrest. Dean Landeau get creepier and creepier.
And we are left with one heck of a cliffhanger.

Good ending to the trilogy and there were so many twist and turns that were unexpected. People you thought were good are bad and some of the bad guys are actually good. I look forward to the next series that is to be a spinoff of this one and it is about Marks friend and his security business.

Thanks for the pick! I actually changed this from Two For the Dough, as I wanted to re-read this one prior to Tricky Twenty-Two's release. A good book and audio. I just would like some progress in this series with the whole Ranger-Morelli thing. Choose one or the other Stephanie! I'll take Ranger. :)
