Lisa Kay’s Discussion Question for Chapters 11-19
18. Well, JB reminds us that Harry is most likely paralyzed from the waist down. Just a theory, but could the parasite have anything to do with that? Also, why was Karrin frowning when Valmont said she was good with Harry burning Nicodemus?
19. Butters mentions Pet Sematary and tells Harry he’s changed, becoming a little self-centered and fey payment/favor oriented, causing Butters to have his doubts. Sounds like he had a rough year. Do you blame him? The good news is Bob gets a back-up home. Comments.
20. Is there more to the story of why Mister disappears when Andi shows up?
21. Did Harry really communicate with Molly via a dream? Guess we’ll find out, when – or if she shows up later. And why is she two miles under ice? What crazy mission does Mab have her on?

There might be ! I think there was something about it in one of the novellas! If i'm not wrong the name was "a day off" or something close !

I want to believe that dream was real and he really talked to Molly .But then there is the next dream .
I'm thinking Mab has sent Molly faraway so she can't help Harry before the 3 days is up ,maybe Mab knew if Harry gets off the island he would be able to communicate with Molly in dreams.

I stopped listening for a few hours after that scene !I was feeling frustrated :D He's so cruel . I have started to think nothing is going to ever happened between these 2. No I didn't even guess that it was dream .
There is also what he heard when he almost fell asleep when Butters was working on his leg.
I don't think Mab has anything to do with his dreams.

Chapter 23 !I'm speechless
Just started Chapter 24, but I may have to read #23 again.
I'm working on the Qs right now.
ShoSho’s Questions for chapter 1-101.It’s been more than a year since the end of the last book .It’s a really long time and apparently nothing has happened .It seems Harry’s been stuck on the island and been practicing Parkour !!!What do think about this big jump in time?
It's certainly a long time for Harry to be alone without his friends and family. I took the jump in time to maybe lend a bit of backfill to Harry's frame of mind...being along with only Demonreach. I'm shuddering at that. I had never heard of Parkour before, but didn't it provide a somewhat humorous picture in your brain of Harry practicing it?
2.I want to know what’s going on with Molly , how do Michael and Charity feel about what happened to her and a million other things about her, do you think we’ll get to know these things in this book ?
Good lord, I hope so!
3.The prisoner that rolled his eyes and sighed, he said that he should be there. Who or what do you think he is ? What has he done ?
For someone to admit that he belongs there...definitely a "Big Bad."
4. That was a tight corner Mab put Harry in and it seems she had been altering the messages he had sent to Molly. Something about distrust! Can you guess what she’s done to the messages?
Rock and hard place indeed! I would suppose that Mab destroyed the letters.
5.Mab had known all along how to stop the parasite temporarily but she had chosen not to anything about it until now that she needs Harry! Do you think the only purpose of the earing is to subdue the parasite or there is more to it?
It clearly does subdue the parasite, but the earring is from Mab; that can't be all it does. If there is something else, it's going to be something nefarious no doubt.
6. Were you expecting the man in the suit to be Nicodemus ? Mab’s and Nick’s both have hidden agendas in doing this . Can you guess what he’s up to? Nick might play straight until he achieves whatever he’s after and he must know Harry cannot be trusted ,so why Harry?
That really threw me for a loop. I was expecting it to be Gentleman Johnny Marcone. I nearly fell out of my chair when it turned out to be Nicodemus.
I would expect Nick to maybe not play it too straight but in a way that would put Harry's back to the wall.
7.It seems Mab doesn’t like to be called a bitch!!! That was some slap. Harry should have figured out sooner the wording of Mab’s order.
Well, I'm a bit surprised by that. I would've thought Mab would take pride in being called a bitch - she is one afterall.
8.What did he do in those 3 hours?I’m pretty sure it’s a plan B that he has put in place. And what a big surprise ,Murphy trusted Harry and accepted to be kept out of the loop!

9.What happened to Jordan wasn’t Harry’s fault but I’m sure he’ll feel guilty about it. That scene and what came after were really gruesome and icky .I wonder how Nick manipulates these men so they are looking forward to being maimed like that!
Oh dear lord, my stomach flopped right along with Harry. It seems JB is channeling a little bit of Stephen King with that scene.
10 .Is it me or was there an emphasis on this sentence both times it was said “ only human for now” ? Does it mean he might not be human in the future?
I certainly hope not, but there was enough emphasis for it to be worrisome.
11.Poor Murphy ! Nobody likes her men shoes !!! How she does make a living? Do you think she accepted Odin’s offer?
I love her man shoes! I have a pair of shoes that people refer to as my "ugly man shoes," and I wear them with pride. There're so comfortable.

12.What do you think of Hanna Asher? She doesn’t give me a bad feeling or I’d better say I’m getting an evil vibe of her . Why do they need 2 wizards on the team?
I'm going to trust Hanna, and I agree with you about the wicked vibe. I hate to say that they may need two wizards because Nick intends to kill Harry.

14.The cover art shows Hades’ vault on fire .Are we going to meet Hades? What do you think Nico wants from it? Is it an item or just the act of breaching that vault that is his goal?
I actually hope we do meet Hades. I can't even speculate what Nick wants from the vault yet.

I don't think so.
16. And apparently they high security place that they have to access in order to get to NeverNever belongs to Femurs !I think it’s time we know more about them!

ShoSho’s Questions for Chapters 20-2827.I loved it that he went to Michael and their whole conversation. One of the things that stood out for me was that Michael knew about Ebenezer and Thomas being his grandfather and brother.(I thought nobody knew ).(view spoiler) He told M everything .I’m thinking it will come to play later. Anything stood for you?
28.Molly has not told her family about being the winter lady. What was that other thing Michael was talking about? The look of understanding that came over his face?
29. We know more about how they are going to get to Hades’ vault .The 3 gates and the Holy Grail . Why does he need it? What can he do with it that Mab wants to prevent it? Saving the world? What about what Deidre told Harry about Mab’s intentions?
30.Harry really needs to think before he talks!!! What do you think about the Bigfoot and his duties on this mission and his strength and his abilities with magic?
31.Okay this pregnancy thing is the weirdest thing I’ve read in Dresden books. I literally was ROFLMAO ! It kinda makes sense and at the same time it doesn’t .Demonreach told him he warns away the creature that is causing Harry’s headaches. It bargained with Harry’s life .They needed its help to save his life and its price was that Harry would not be told about it. But why? What do you think about the whole thing and another offspring?
32. What did that snowflake silver pin mean? What do you think about what he said about choosing between Molly and Karrin? And what did his subconscious meant by “Don’t forget the dream .Don’t forget how it ended “? and that all the dreams were him?
33.Butters is changing too . Right now I don’t like him anymore! He should pay attention to what Murphy told him about Faith in people .Do you think Murphy is right and Butters needs to decide?
34. They are going to infiltrate Marcone’s secured facility! It seems Nick is not taking Marcone seriously. It’s going to go very bad, very very bad! Comments?
35. What was Butters thinking eavesdropping on Nick’s crew and taking Bob with him AND going to Michael’s place afterwards ? He’s gone totally crazy! It’s about time Harry get Bob off his hands. What do you think happens next?

I have a question for you Mr. Elf. I'm confused about the chapter breakdowns for May 31 and June 1:May 31 Chp. 38-44 = 84% Joann
June 1 Chp. 41-51 = 100% Lauren??
So, May 31 ends of chapter 44 but June 1 starts on chapter 41...? Am I missing something?
