Figured as much. lol. Was scrolling through digital audiobooks available at my library trying to cram a couple more in this round.

Went with White Cat (Curse Workers, #1) by Holly Black instead.

The meaning of the challenge is 'sun worship' by lying out in the sun. There 'is' light but it's from a setting sun behind clouds and I just don't think it's bright enough. (to clarify, if the light was more intense and it was clear that it was shining on them it would be ok)

Your other cover has a person standing up. They need to be sitting or lying down.

Sorry for the delay! Yes, that's fine; women lying on a sandy beach in bathing costumes is definitely sun worship.

Nicola | 1360 comments Marscha wrote: "Will Undead and Unappreciated (Undead, #3) by MaryJanice Davidson work for option 1?"

I don't think so because she's a vampire correct? The backgrounds a little oddly coloured but I'm pretty sure that no vampire is going to be sunning herself.

If I'm wrong though then let me know and I'll amend my decision.

Your first book doesn't work. There isn't anything to indicate that they are even outside other than the inference of lying on the blanket and there is no strong light shining on them.

The second one fro option 4 is ok.

The horses are fine and the second book would work for 'bright colours'.

No it won't work for Option 4 and it also won't really work for Option 1. The adults are all leaning rather than sitting and the child appears to be being half dangled/lifted? I don't really see in his posture that he's indulging in some 'sun worship' :-)

It would however work for Option 2 if that is of any use?

Option 1 is fine but your second book doesn't show enough of the clothing to tell if it is actually 50% brightly coloured or not.

Melissa (balletbookworm) | 915 comments For Option 4, I was wondering if either of these two romance covers would work:

Cold-Hearted Rake by Lisa Kleypas or Sweetest Scoundrel (Maiden Lane, #9) by Elizabeth Hoyt

Both dresses would cover the shoulders if not unlaced/pushed down for sexiness's (is that a word? it's a word now, I've decided) sake. Thought I'd check first with you.

I'm afraid that's no good either. There isn't enough of the dress showing to be sure it's 50% colourful.

Also, I'm not sure if it would work anyway. The shoulders look actually to be covered by a transparent shawl rather than actual sleeves? This wouldn't be 'warm' enough :-)

Sorry!

Yeah, now that I look at it again, it does look more scarf than sleeves. I'll find it a different home. Thanks!

I've already got a Bio for that one but I found it a home in Dakimel's 25.6 Wedding task - it's borrowed from the library ;)

Turns out I have Short Nights of the Shadow Catcher: The Epic Life and Immortal Photographs of Edward Curtis - so can use the horse option for your task :)
