After finishing Kantra's Carolina Man, I decided to do a bit of a glom. So far I've finished the first two books in her MacNeill series, The Passion Of Patrick MacNeill and The The Comeback of Conn MacNeill. Now I'm working on The Temptation of Sean MacNeill. So far my fave of this series is the first one.
I'm reading Romancing the Duke for our monthly book club and will probably also start Where'd You Go, Bernadette. I've heard great things about it.Unrelated squee break: I found out this morning that Season for Scandal got a DABWAHA nod! So. Delighted. (Though my own husband told me, "That's great! Though you're probably going to lose in the first round to Courtney Milan." Yeah, agreed.) http://dabwaha.com/2014/03/10/announc...

Congratulations, Theresa! Just to make the slate is awesome in this case! And don't throw in the towel yet! The voters might surprise you!

Congratulations Theresa! This week I'm on a glom of Jennifer Ashley's Highland Pleasure series. I finished off the first three books over the weekend and I'm now about 1/2-way through The Duke's Perfect Wife.

Great pick! :) I'm reading Vicky Dreiling's [book:What a Reckless Rogue Needs, Cara Elliott's Passionately Yours, and Lily Dalton's Never Entice an Earl for a blog tour.
Manda, Phoenix, and Mary, thank you! I glom the DABWAHA books every year, and this is the first time one of mine has been included. It is--to rip off Hugh Grant's character from Notting Hill--"surreal, but nice."

I bow to your rapid & superior reading skills! :)

Sean's story kinda dragged for me, but I did love Patrick's and then there's a fourth called MAD DOG AND ANNIE that's kind of related that I also liked a lot.
I just finished CAROLINA MAN and was very sorry to see it end. I love these characters and can't wait for CAROLINA BLUES. I just picked up ALL YOU NEED IS LOVE by Marie Force. I'm going to start that one tonight. I'm really in the mood for another good contemporary series.

LOL, that's the one I'm on and you hit the nail on the head! My strategy for getting more contemporary after the first two Carolina books was to read Lily Everett's Sanctuary Island and some Robyn Carr. But Kantra is just so good. It's the perfect mix of family, romance and small town. And I've already read most of the similar series like Virgin River and Nora's Chesapeake.

I'm reading our monthly book
, first time so far that I've been on time with the book of the month :)
Just finished Lisa Unger's In The Blood, really like this author and she didn't disappoint with this latest book.

Wasn't it good, Marnie? I love her!

Manda, yes it was. My only complaint is that she doesn't write nearly enough books.
