@Brittany: Welcome and awesome! Also love horror and well, you came to a wonderful place. LoL oh yes Pet Sematary is wild as was IT/Misery when I read them many moons ago, super scary, weird, and exciting beyond belief :-)

Hello, Bethany here :) new to this group and new to Goodreads. Love me some good murder mystery thriller horror type books. Recently joined a book club and learned I love all kinds of book. Looking forward to some good recommendations and discussions.

Thank you Alan! I am still working out how the group discussions here work. Do we just comment along in the 'discussions' page on the book we are currently reading, or is there some place i am missing? It's nice to feel right at home here :)

We have the group reads, buddy reads and guest author reads you can comment on as you read those books (no spoilers without spoiler tags please), and/or you can comment on another book if it has a separate thread, or on the What Are You Currently Reading thread. Poke around the board and you'll see how others are posting. There aren't any hard and fast rules.
@Sabine: Welcome as you came to a wonderful place! I'm sure over time you'll get used to Goodreads and any questions, please let us know as this group rocks :-D

What's going on all of my Horror Aficionados. My name is Billy. I am 36 years old. I have only been reading books for the last 2 years. Yes, you heard me right, I have only been reading for 2 years.
Growing up I was not a reader. I loathed the idea of it. So, when I married a lady who absolutely adores books and has a slight book addiction it wasn't surprising that she bought me a kindle for Christmas a couple of years ago and the rest is history.
I absolutely love it! I cannot stop reading and of coarse my favorite genre is Horror/Mystery/Thriller/Suspense/Psychological. I want it all.
So here I am. Enjoying reading and enjoying goodreads. I dont have much of a friends list as of yet so if you want to add me youre welcome to! Keep it spooky!

Welcome! I'm new to the group too and also just started reading over the past year. Never was a big reader when I was younger but I figure that's because I didn't like anything we were told to read in school. I'll make sure to add you, can always use more reading friends for more recommendations!
@Michael: Welcome and yeah, I remember feeling that way about being forced to read books in school but as I got older, LoL I realized why they started planting those seeds earlier :-)
Hi everyone! Apparently, I've had a goodreads account since 2013 and I never made use of it. It is awesome to find this group and get so many recommendations. I am never going to run out of good horror to read again. I live in France in a small village so I can't exactly browse the horror sections of bookstores (I'll never be reading novels in French...)

Hi All, My name is Will and I read a good variety of things but primarily horror as of late. I decided to give this group a try to find new things to read and I'm looking forward to enjoying some new books I wouldn't otherwise consider! I've been doing a lot of audio books for long bike tours and ultra races recently so it's always an extra thrill to have a horror novel while in the dark in the middle of nowhere on a bike. Looking forward to more fun reads!
