Glad you enjoyed it! I've never read any of the books, but I loved the HBO series and got my parents hooked on it, too! It's a shame that it never went beyond the one season.

I rarely give a full 5, but although I have enjoyed them all, I was expecting some of them to have higher ratings. I did just finish one today that got 4.5♥ but haven't updated my lists yet since I am only on my phone.

Oh My God Nan I love you!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you for picking Dex in Blue for me. I enjoyed Chase in Shadow more than I expected to, but Dex in Blue just blew me away. I adored it!!! My full review is of course right here.

@Shelley: I finished and gave it ★★★½. It wasn't as good as the prior books but it is still well written. I really enjoy this series so thank you for the rec!

@Sallie(Shuga): Boy, this one, was a big disappointment.I gave it ★★★. This book's blurb just reads like something I would love, but I found the hero to be despicable, and the attempts to redeem him fell short in my eyes. However, I will read book 2 because I am not ready to give up on a series with such a pretty cover! thank you.

So, I finished the last and final book of the challenge . It was pretty meh and blah!! Nothing new to the story, the writing was bleh and so were the characters. I gave it 2 stars. The one and only good thing about the book was that the person who was trying to kidnap Katie(the female lead) wasn't revealed until the final page of the book. And we couldn't have guesses who it was either.

I finished . I loved the book. But this was by mo means the best book in the series. There were a couple of things that were not really necessary for the plot of the book, and I though it was dragged a bit. (view spoiler)[Michaela's pregnancy ruse was just unnecessary. And I don't think the Tasha angle was needed either (hide spoiler)]

LethalLovely - it was great to get back to Halle Shifters - this one did not disappoint 4♥
Gea - another 4♥ and was great to cross off a series from my list!!
Diane ~Firefly~ Thank you, thank you, thank you was so much better than #2!! I needed that to take the bad taste away,lol!! Solid 4♥
beppy was a fun short! 3♥ Would have liked it to be a little longer but still cute.
Hadley 3♥ - I enjoyed getting to know Mac and Tony - even if Mac irritated me in this one - however even though not picked for me I had to follow up with book #2 Breaking Cover which was way better IMO and put Tony and Mac back at a 4♥
Tina "coffee and books" - thank you for getting me caught up with this series. Raid was a solid 4♥ - that said I wish Ms Ashley had gone into more of Raid's background vs Hanna's. Still I'd like my one Rai.> Can I have Hanna's Gramma - she rocked!!

I finished two more of my picks! I read LethalLovely's pick of Twisted by Emma Chase and I really enjoyed it! Yesterday I finished listening to Motorcycle Man by Kristen Ashley - I enjoyed that one too, but in a way I'm glad to be done with that series. (I know there are other books that are linked...) I liked them all but they got repetitive, very repetitive in many, many ways.

That gets me up to ten picks so far! I will be trying to finish at least one more before the end of the month!

I finished reading . I really enjoyed it. The banter b/w Gwen and Hawk was super fun. But in all honestly Hawk frustrated and irritated me a lot. I can understand why Gwen wanted to hit Hawk hard! It was 3.5-4 starer book for me.

Hadley - Finished Rock Chick and LOVED it so much that I dove right into Rock Chick Rescue. Loved that, too. Can't wait for book 3. Thanks so much! 4 stars.

Nadine - Finished Law Man. I enjoyed it, but not as much as the first two. I was looking forward to reading Mitch's story, but I found Mara to be SO annoying and Mitch to be more of a jerk than expected. Still, I can't resist Kristen Ashley and to think I just discovered her this year and have so many books to look forward to! :) 3 stars.

LethalLovely -- Just finished Bayou Moon. I didn't like it as much as the first, but it was still good. I was really looking forward to William's story. It was a lot darker than I expected, but I enjoyed it and am looking forward to Book 3. :) 4 stars.

Grace -- I finished up Tempted today. I have to say I was a little disappointed with this one. I had really been looking forward to reading about Demetrius and the book started off looking really promising. However, the constant roadblocks and blatant communication problems between Demetrius and Isadora just dragged on and on for me. I've never been a fan of conflict caused by MC stupidity. That being said, it wasn't bad and I'm still looking forward to reading the next book in the series. Thanks so much for the rec! 3 stars.

I have finished three more of my picks - I'm up to thirteen! I listened to Nikita's pick Conspiracy in Death by J.D. Robb - loved it! I also read Hadley's pick Shared by Lily Harlem. I liked the premise but the execution was lacking. I was glad to get it off my shelves though because it just kept tempting me while it was there! Just this morning I finished listening to Dark Desires After Dusk by Kresley Cole which was Mandy's pick. I loved that one too!

I am currently reading Pam's pick, Collide by Juliana Stone and enjoying it. I'm starting to listen to Ill Wind by Rachel Caine, Melissa's pick.

4.5 ★'s Love Zoe Archer and I loved this book which is the first one in a new series. No paranormal but a really intriguing historical mystery with some great characters. So glad I read this!

4.5 ★'s It would've been 5 stars except KA always loses 1/2 a point with me because she won't finish her f***ing books!!! But other than that I loved Ty's story and I loved Lexi. I like this series the best so far of her books.
