He drove to where he thought the shifter would be.

He grabbed his silver knife and his gun.
Kyla made sure she had a silver knife along with enough silver bullets.
Kyla followed close behind him. She looked around carefully.
Kyla stayed near him, biting her lip. She kept looking around.
"I don't think it's here." He turned to face her.
Kyla slowly moved around. "I don't think it is either."
Kyla kept looking around. She sighed and shook her head.
He sat in a chair. "I guess I was wrong."
"It just may not be here right now.." She shrugged.
Kyla shook her head. "Waiting here won't work. They won't come back.." She said quietly.
"My brother left me a bunch of stuff on like every single creature. He tried waiting for a shifter and it didn't work. The shifter never went back to that home location.." Kyla replied
"My case said that the shifter always came back to the same location." He said
"Hmmmm.." Kyla debated for a moment, trying To figure out what they should do.
Kyla absentmindedly was checking her gun, not noticing him.
Kyla bit her lip, thinking. She didn't notice that Jason was staring at her
He realised what he was doing and looked away.
Kyla glanced at him right as he looked away. She looked back down at her gun
Kyla finally set her gun on the floor in front of her, it pointed at the door.
Kyla ran a hand through her hair, thinking.
He sighed she put it in his lap. "What are you smiling about?"
"How long do you want to wait here?" She asked.
"Okay, is your car unlocked? I want to grab something from my bag." Kyla asked.
He nodded and tossed the keys to her.
Kyla stood, easily catching the keys. She picked up her gun and walked out to the car.
Kyla came back in a few minutes later, carrying a book. She tossed his keys back at him, sitting on the floor.
