Task 5.5 You linked The Survivors Club by Lisa Gardner whose initials are not in "scrabble"
If you meant The Survivors Club by J. Carson Black the task requires "Only first and last initials- disregard middle initials" - the author's initials are JB and are not found in "scrabble"

FYI- If you read an ebook or listen to an audiobook, use the page count for the mass market paperback if one exists. If there is no mass market paperback edition, use the paperback edition and if no paperback is available use the hardcover edition.

Jennifer W | 466 comments Hi Mods, I've run into a Big Book dilemma. Here is the post as I was going to claim it in the points section, but I decided I should post here to make sure it's OK.

From post 899, task 15.4 Wheeling and Dealing, please remove Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire by J.K. Rowling.

15.4 Wheeling and Dealing

Option A: The Five Dysfunctions of a Team: A Leadership Fable by Patrick Lencioni Business is a genre.

Option C: Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix by J.K. Rowling "J" 870 pages=2 big book tickets

25.2 Nordic Noir

Book A: The Invisible by Mats Wahl GR description reads "In this riveting mystery set in northern Sweden..." Goodreads lists this book as first published in 2000.

Book B Option 4: Also first published in 2000: Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire by J.K. Rowling 2 big book tickets reapplied **

** When I first posted this book in post 899, goodreads listed the book as having 796 pages, and I claimed 2 big book tickets. Now when I look, it only has 734. I no longer have the book in front of me, so I don't know which is accurate, though I doubt I would have said I read a 796 page book if I hadn't.

New points: 25
Total points: 135

What should I claim for big book tickets for Goblet of Fire? Thanks!

Always problems with books with many editions, and where there have been changes. I checked the librarian change logs and this book has been changed/combined, etc., a number of times recently.

You have already posted the book and I checked at that time. You don't "reapply" for tickets anyway - you're just moving the book and not getting anything new. Just move it, and don't claim anything for it, since you already got the BB tickets.

Actually, I think there is only four books in series. Other books are combined editions of two or all four books. There is one short novella, too, which is not published originally as a part of quartet.
Do the combined editions and later prints count as published books in series, too? I didn't read that in task description.

I checked out Nora Roberts site. On her Trilogies and Series page, she lists the Chesapeake Bay Saga with only 4 books.

Not sure if that is helpful or not.

It's never published as a separate book. This is a couple of pages long short story on writers website. But I leave it to that now.
