SOLVED. Regency Book about a spy(?) [s]

So it s a historical romance about a lord who had an accident when he was little and since then he is outrageous , more like silly.He is pretending because he is a spy (don t know for sure) and his brother or sister all look with pity and remember how he was before the accident. The main girl i think tries to trap him into a marriage , again i am not sure , but they get married and she gets to know his secret , he also tells his family that he was faking it , i remember that his brother asks him a question of who is the author of the painting or something like that for proof he isn t stupid.

His at Night by Sherry Thomas has some similarities, but the hero is a spy. According to one Amazon reviewer: "This one has our hero, Lord Vere, as an undercover investigator for the Crown who pretends mental deficiencies caused by an accident at 16 so that no one will suspect him of being an agent... The book has some funny moments, what with Vere having to pretend to be an "idiot". There's also a fun moment with rats that needs to be read to be appreciated."
