Srividya Vijapure (theinkedmermaid) | 221 comments 136/160.. YAYYYYY For once my widget talks of me be ahead in double digits.. Am 27 books ahead of schedule :D :D

message 253: by Alessandra (new)

Alessandra (chibisuke) | 266 comments 17 of 20 (hopefully tonight it will be 18) books read so far. I'm 4 books ahead, but I'm thinking about uping my goal again... or I just leave it and read on.

message 254: by Alessandra (new)

Alessandra (chibisuke) | 266 comments Iasa, I thought about raising it to 30 books, but I probably just leave it. I felt really proud last year when it walked past the 100% :D

CaptKirk42 Classic Whovian (klandersen) | 455 comments oops now I'm 2 books behind. That is the way these next few weeks will probably be going between only 1 behind back down to 2 behind.

CaptKirk42 Classic Whovian (klandersen) | 455 comments Just finished Beware What You Wish (Charmed #10). Back to 1 book behind 13/20 - 65%

message 257: by Roseanne (new)

Roseanne | 1239 comments I am currently 9 books ahead but I started reading A Storm of Swords last night. I am hoping that between being ahead and the audio books I listen to on my commute that I will still make my goal. I don't anticipate finishing anything anytime soon.

message 258: by Gavin (new)

Gavin (thewalkingdude) | 209 comments 47 out of 50 books, 11 ahead of schedule. Hoping to finish the year with 55 or 60.

message 259: by Laura (new)

Laura Dixon (ang3leyes) | 16 comments My widget says 77/100 books read. 5 books ahead of schedule :) (Puts nose back in book)

message 260: by Kassandra (new)

Kassandra | -1 comments I've increased my goal to 90, so now I'm 7 books ahead. I still feel like I'm behind, so I'm going to try and get in lots of reading during our readathon!

message 261: by Alessandra (new)

Alessandra (chibisuke) | 266 comments Congrats to all of you being ahead of your schedule :D
Wow, Kassandra. Increasing your goal to 90 and being 7 books ahead is awesome!

message 262: by Kassandra (new)

Kassandra | -1 comments Thanks Laura! I'm working on increasing it to 100 - this group has helped so much in keeping me motivated. Plus, I've found some really good books from stalking bookshelves.

message 263: by Laura (new)

Laura Dixon (ang3leyes) | 16 comments Lol Kassandra, we are cut from the same cloth! Canadian Book Stalkers Unite!! :)

message 264: by Kassandra (new)

Kassandra | -1 comments Lol, there are worse things to be! For all the non-Canadians reading this, book stalking isn't restricted to Canadians in this group...we welcome all stalkers! Wait...of books, I mean...you get me!

message 265: by Tracey (new)

Tracey | 916 comments My widget says I'm 16 books ahead of schedule, currently at 88/100. I expect to hit it my goal in early November. I don't think I'm going to raise my goal anymore after that though. Will just read more at my own pace and maybe get some larger books out of the way before 2015.

message 266: by Stephanie (new)

Stephanie | 106 comments My widget now says I'm on track.

message 267: by Princess (new)

Princess Godoy (bookishcess) You have read 134 of 30 books
447%
113 books ahead of schedule

I kinda over underestimated my self.

Chase: same here, once i've reached my goal this year which should be a couple months ahead i plan to attach the Game of Thrones Books. They look very daunting but i've heard they are incredible.

message 269: by Becca (new)

Becca Tyler (scrappybec) | 296 comments Last year my goal was 150 and I read 155. I set it for 125 this year because I planned to read several longer works. Right now I'm 16 ahead of schedule (106). I'm thinking about raising my goal, but it's kind of nice to exceed the goal, too.

I'd say it was a close call...

Gavin (thewalkingdude) | 209 comments Increased my goal to 60 'cause why not. I've read 49, and I'm 5 books ahead of schedule.

Holly (hollycoulson) | 1949 comments Mod
8 books behind schedule. And frustratingly, I've read most of the early books for my modules already. So can't really read anything new for my course...

Looks like I'll have to make time for personal reading! :D

Plays and novellas here I come!

Good for you, Gavin. Take a risk -- I daresay you'll do 60 easily!"

Thanks for the support, Sandy. I know I'll need all I can get. Well, if anything I can just marathon on December when I'm on break from college.

Holly (hollycoulson) | 1949 comments Mod
Gavin, we're going to be holding an official readathon at the end of December to make the max of everyone's reading!

message 275: by Rob (new)

Rob | 162 comments 117 of 150. +5.. It is kind of surprising since I never read this many in a year before this year.

After you've tallied your widget...
Please try to stop by the 2015 Non-Fiction Challenge thread in the General Folder. We're trying to get a tally of most liked topics for next year's Non-Fiction Challenge. Your input would be helpful!

message 279: by Heather (new)

Heather | 97 comments Having reached & revised my target in August, I've again reached my target! I'm a little proud of myself! :)

message 280: by Mayme (new)

Mayme (theladymaym) | 104 comments I am two books behind, but also I'm 75% through my challenge! so, that feels like something worth celebrating ^^

message 281: by Faye, The Dickens Junkie (new)

Faye | 1415 comments Mod
I've hardly read anything in the past 2 months, so I'm currently 7 books behind. *sigh*

message 282: by Kassandra (new)

Kassandra | -1 comments Don't worry Faye, the Readathon is almost here! It will be a great chance for you to get caught up.

message 283: by Holly, That Geeky One (new)

Holly (hollycoulson) | 1949 comments Mod
Faye, I know your pain.

But, regardless, WE CAN DO THIS!

message 284: by Faye, The Dickens Junkie (new)

Faye | 1415 comments Mod
I don't know if I can! I just can't seem to focus on a book these days. :(

message 285: by Becca (new)

Becca Tyler (scrappybec) | 296 comments Mine says 123 out of 125. Since I have 3 books in progress, I clearly low-balled my goal for the year!

message 286: by Faye, The Dickens Junkie (new)

Faye | 1415 comments Mod
12 books behind schedule!!!

message 287: by Aitziber (new)

Aitziber I'm 2 books ahead of schedule for the main widget, and 1 ahead in the group reading challenge widget. :O

But to be fair, I'm reading as fast as I can because I've committed to so many books this month.

message 288: by Kimberley (new)

Kimberley Ash (kimberley_ash) | 35 comments My widget says that I've completed my challenge. Woo!

message 290: by Stephanie (new)

Stephanie | 106 comments I've completed my reading challenge. It says I'm an overachiever.

message 291: by Gavin (new)

Gavin (thewalkingdude) | 209 comments Completed my challenge way earlier than I thought I would. The Hallloween read-a-thon definitely helped. Now, I'll take it easy, and read some of the longer books on my shelves.

message 292: by CaptKirk42 Classic Whovian (last edited Nov 09, 2014 02:25PM) (new)

CaptKirk42 Classic Whovian (klandersen) | 455 comments I completed my challenge. 3 books ahead of schedule. was 4 ahead when I reached book 20/20.

Nice work!

message 298: by Cheryl (new)

Cheryl Schneider (cltschneider) | 76 comments I am 5 over already. This is my first year doing the challenge, so I didn't really know what to set to challenge myself. I guess next year, it should be at least 125 instead of 100. I always knew that I read a lot, but it feels pretty good to put a number to it!!

message 299: by Holly, That Geeky One (new)

Holly (hollycoulson) | 1949 comments Mod
That's insane, Roseanne! A month and a half early! Well done!

Cheryl, thats one massive number. We'll be setting up new threads and everything probably in December, so keep an eye out for when you can start getting read for 2015!

message 300: by Kassandra (new)

Kassandra | -1 comments Well done ladies - those are very impressive numbers!
