Wow, we are midway through the Q&A and I think we're going to set a group record for the number of questions asked! Well done members!

And I just have to say to Katie, your answers have been so incredibly well thought out and interesting, thank you for giving so much of your time to the group and to your readers :)

Marianne (Boricuan Bookworms) (mariannelee) Hi! I think my question got lost between the comment, so I'll just post it again:

"Hi, Katie! Me again :)

What can you find yourself doing on a Saturday morning?

Are there any contemporary romance books (other than your own, haha) that you could recommend while I wait for Take Me On to be published? :) "

Thanks :)

Hi Marianne,

What can you find yourself doing on a Saturday morning?

I go for a run on Saturday morning. Then I settle in and answer fan e-mail and any business e-mail I didn't get to during the week.

Are there any contemporary romance books (other than your own, haha) that you could recommend while I wait for Take Me On to be published? :)

I love Simone Elkeles, Trish Doller, Sabrina Elkins, Colette Ballard, and Miranda Kenneally

I looked through the entire thread, Gabby, but I don't see your questions. I don't think it posted. You can try posting them again, we are still taking questions through Thursday!

Thank you so much for answering my questions! I cannot wait to see the awkward scene whatever it is! I am not surprised that Isaiah would have anger towards Rachel's brother and entire family. I think Isaiah seems to be the first person to love Rachel for just being herself. I do hope that eventually Isaiah can bond some with at least one of Rachel's brothers because he is going to be stuck with them forever (hopefully).

C.K. | 779 comments Were there any deleted scenes from Crash into You between Isaiah and Rachel's Dad during those long talks at the hospital?

Okay, everyone, today is the last day to ask Katie any questions you may have!

Thank you so much, Katie, for coming to our group and answering so many questions! You were awesome, and I really enjoyed reading and learning about you and more about your books!

Katie McGarry (katiemcgarry) | 50 comments Gabby wrote: "yes!! :D I' in!! (:

What's your writing process?
How did you conceive your characters?"

Hi Gabby,

What's your writing process?

My writing process varies from book to book, but basically I'm a plotter. This means that I write out what I believe is going to happen in the book before I start to write. The problem? I've never written a book that has stuck with my plan. :-)

How did you conceive your characters?
I typically free write for a bit until I find a "voice" that I like. I also will "interview" my characters to find out more about them.

Hi C.K.,

There are deleted scenes from Crash Into You that I will be releasing soon (so stay tuned), but unfortunately there aren't any scenes between Isaiah and Rachel's father.
