Thanks for the picks Elke (again!) You're really pushing my boundaries this month, aren't you? :0 That's okay. Going on a cruise this month which we've never done, so there is boundary pushing galore going on in March!!! I think I will only read the new picks you made... how's that for pushing my own boundaries? Thanks again!!!

Victoria, there are books from your to-read shelf in each category. It is nice if they use your preferred shelf for everything, but as long as it is on your TBR it is ok. You can ask, but she isn't required to give you more picks in this instance. Just wanted to clarify that.

Sorry about that! I'll fix it :)

MountainKat | 31599 comments Victoria "Trea" wrote: "Actually, MountainKat, I double checked the books before I wrote my reply to her. In her original reply, Categories 1 and 2 did not have selections from my shelf."

Actually Victoria, Thomas & January and Vain are both on your to-read shelf. They were when I made my comment and they still are, I just double checked. That is the point I was making - she did pick books on your to-read shelf. What Nemo did was correct and she was not required to make more picks for you. It was nice that she did though. I realize you had listed a preferred shelf, but it is just that - where you would prefer she pick from, not where she is obligated to pick from.

Jaime Mccurley (jaimemccrl4) | 76 comments Penney, sorry so late! Here are your picks.. I hope some of them work for you. If not let me know and I will try again.
1. Costumes:

I only saw two favorite authors for you. So, I went with Concealed in Death (In Death, #38) by J.D. Robb (TBR).

3. Parties and Parades:

Thank you for the picks Laurla! I am going to read Wicked Deeds on a Winter's Night - I love this series, but I always seem to need a push to get back to it! I'll try to get in one or two more depending on how the other challenges shake out.

Hi! Thanks for the picks! I think I'll go with Princess for now and maybe squeeze in Wicked Cravings. A couple of those I believe I've already read, but no biggie! No need for repicks. I know it's pain to find a book to fit the categories (plus, there's always other books, right??), so I appreciate it! :)

message 211: by Gigi (new)

Gigi | 1149 comments Hi Breann!

I hope you find something you like. If not, let me know.

1. Costumes: Pick books with green, purple, gold, a hat, a mask or neckwear on the cover, or you may also select books set in Louisiana (or the South), Ireland (or Europe) or any location that has large celebrations for Mardi Gras or St. Patrick's Day.
TBR: Flat-Out Sexy by Erin McCarthy (North Carolina)
TBR: Ball & Chain by Abigail Roux (Scotland)
NEW: Addicted by Charlotte Featherstone (England)

2. Overindulgence: Recommend a book by one of their favorite authors and a new to them book by one of your favorite authors, because sometimes you just need to indulge in something you love.
TBR: Up From the Grave by Jeaniene Frost (Fav author list)
NEW: Broken by Megan Hart (a fav author of mine)

3. Parties & Parades: Who doesn't love getting together with friends, suggest books with a large gathering or celebration or the next book in one of your pickee's favorite series or you may also pick a new to them series that you think they would like.
(NEW/TBR)
NEW: Rush by Maya Banks (Large gathering)
NEW: The Reluctant Dom by Tymber Dalton (large gathering)
TBR: A Note in the Margin by Isabelle Rowan (series I think you'd like)

4. Rowdy, Out of Control, Pushing Boundaries Behavior: Sometimes you just need a push to read something new (or old)! So recommend a new genre or author for your pickee that you believe they will enjoy. Also, pick an oldie off their TBR that shouldn't be gathering dust anymore!
NEW: Hummingbird by Lavyrle Spencer (a fav of mine)
TBR: Seduction in Death by JD Robb
(on your TBR since 2012)

Happy Reading!!

Penney (pschoener) | 3553 comments Thanks for the picks Jaime! I might've bitten off more than I can chew with challenges this month so I can only guarantee one read, Kinked. I'm currently re-reading the In Death series, I'm going to try my hardest to avoid Concealed in Death until I finish. Something tells me I won't be able to hold back, lol. I have added a few more books to my ever growing tbr though, and if I can squeeze one or two more in I'll try Heaven and Hell, Sweet Dreams and/or A Certain Wolfish Charm.
Thanks again!

Hi Skandia - sorry I didn't get back to you sooner. How would next weekend be to start Whisper Falls? Is that too late for you? I've got a couple of books I'd like to get out of the way as soon as I can, but I can shift things around if you'd rather start it right away.

Sallie(GeorgiaGirl) (shuga) | 1190 comments Thank Beppy for the recommended read: Tell Me No Lies, elizabeth lowell..i really enjoyed this book so much so that I have added this author's other series to my ever growing TBR...thank you again for a great rec

Aarati | 148 comments Ezi, I finished my first book Blaze of Memory (Psy-Changeling, #7) by Nalini Singh . I loved it, though the ending I thought was a bit anti-climatic. The ending was also highly emotional and I did shed a few tears. Something really surprising and unexpected happened too, which was well surprising. Thanks for the pick Ezi.

I finished Dark Witch (The Cousins O'Dwyer Trilogy, #1) by Nora Roberts last night. It was the enjoyable read I've come to expect from Nora Roberts and am eager for book 2 to come out later this month.

I'm glad you enjoyed beppy's recomendation of Tell Me No Lies by Elizabeth Lowell . This is one of my all-time favorite EL books, one I've reread more than a few times.
