SYNOPSIS

Beards, brothers, and bikers! Oh my!
Identical twins Beau and Duane Winston might share the same devastatingly handsome face, but where Beau is outgoing and sociable, Duane is broody and reserved. This is why Jessica James, recent college graduate and perpetual level headed good girl, has been in naïve and unhealthy infatuation with Beau Winston for most of her life. His friendly smiles make her tongue-tied and weak-kneed, and she’s never been able to move beyond her childhood crush. Whereas Duane and Jessica have always been adversaries. So far I love the banter between characters. Jessica and Duane are smoking hot.

I love the cover of this book, it's really different and fun. I also like Jessica's humorous tone, her character is great.

What do you all think of the book? I enjoyed it a lot. I thought Jessica was smart and funny. Duane was a little frustrating at times, but I liked him. It always drives me crazy when characters assume things and don't communicate. Such is the way of book romance.

Do you have a favorite Winston Brother? I am curious about all of them. Cletus is so unusual, I am sure his story will be interesting. I have not read their sister Ashley's story Beauty and the Mustache, but I think I will. I want to know about her and Drew.

Penny Reid has already released covers for the next two books in the series Grin and Beard It and Beard Science.

(view spoiler)[Who do you think Jessica's biological Father is? I have a guess. A certain Iron Order member who "knew her Mother real well" and seemed to have a bit of a soft spot for Jessica as far as looking out for her safety when she was around the gang. What do you think?

Why do you think her Aunt Louisa kept her at arms length and never told her about being her birth Mother? I really can't figure this out. I hope it gets answered as the series progresses. (hide spoiler)]

Lori, I totally agree with you on that one. And I was surprised that it didn't come out in the book. There must be something going on with one of the other brother's story where this will surface. :)

I really enjoyed the book overall and think that this will be a great series. The brothers are going to be great fodder for future stories. And I hope that Claire gets in on the action too!

I agree, Claire needs to find a HEA.

I really enjoyed this story, the history Jessica & Duane their chemistry they had even back then. I can't wait to read more about the brothers...all super hot!!
