"As you put it I'm a 'hermit.' You work with army. Lots of people. I hate people."

"Oh what's an army?" He asked waiting for a response.
"People who fight and kill other people. I don't know why they do it. Bears don't kill bears, tigers don't kill tigers, deer don't kill deer, but people kill people." She shook her head, "But if I ever say that you think I'm stupid for thinking people are perfect. I thought I was perfect until you came and decided everything I did was wrong. Don't talk enough, not 'kind' enough. I never worked with people but that doesn't mean anything to you."
"Sorry if I being disrespectful but how do you know how I feel?" He asked softly.
She shrugged, "Guess from what you say, what you do, what you act. But probably wrong as always. I good and talking with animals. Not people."
"That doesn't mean anything."
"THen what does?!" she snapped thinking he was referring to the 'say, do, act' part.
"I'm sorry." He whispered not knowing why she snapped at him.
"How can I tell what you think if nothing you say or do matters?"
He started to cough. He nodded his head and closed his eyes. He was hurt.
He felt something coming down his face. It was either sweat or a tear.
She tapped his shoulder, "Here's some tea for your cold. Sorry, I don't say things right."
He opened his eyes. "That's ok." He gave her a smile. "Thank you." He said as he took the tea.
She nodded and went back to sewing.
He thought it would be best for him to be quite.
He put the glass down. He gave her a smile.
She smiled back and kept sewing.
He didn't like the silence. "Will my memory ever come back?"
"Me too." He shook his head.
She moved to a ne part of the blanket.
He smiled and closed his eyes.
He snuggled in the blankets.
He yawned and went into a deep sleep.
He smiled in his sleep.
He buried his head in the pillow.
