"After you fall. I pick you up, carry you here and you cry whole way as you sleep. Why you even sleep?"

onceuponatimeareview | 8405 comments "I was unconscious." He sounded shocked. He was to some extent. "I don't know." His mind other thoughts in them.

message 103: by [deleted user] (new)

She smirked and said, "You want to come hunting with me? I don't trust you alone in my house but winter coming and need extra clothes."

onceuponatimeareview | 8405 comments "Sure if I can stand up." He smiled. He tired standing up. First part good. Now came to the walking. He tried walking a few feet. He collapsed to the floor. Walking fail.

message 105: by [deleted user] (new)

She chuckled, "I get you sticks. Just be quiet. I can't hunt if you fall like that. She went outside and came back with two y shaped sticks a little shorter than him and fit perfectly under his arm pits. She grabbed a bow and quiver of arrows all made of polished and smoothed bones.

onceuponatimeareview | 8405 comments "Ok." He nodded. "Thank you." He grabbed the sticks. He used them nicely. He would be quite.

message 107: by [deleted user] (new)

Omg. Im so sorry. I could have SWORN I replied.

She led him out into the forest silent as a mouse. She traversed through the forest without so much as a leaf crinkling.

onceuponatimeareview | 8405 comments ((That's fine))

He tried his best. He came upon a rock. He almost fell. He mouthed sorry to her.

message 109: by [deleted user] (new)

She glared then jnelt at the edge of a clearing, waiting for an animal.

onceuponatimeareview | 8405 comments Her glared was like the death stare. This gave him goose bumps all over.

message 111: by [deleted user] (new)

Soon a small bobcat came into view and before you realized she'd shot an arrow the cat was dead, "Should be 'nuff."

onceuponatimeareview | 8405 comments He nodded his head. He felt bad for all the bad things he said to her.

message 113: by [deleted user] (new)

She approached it, knelt besides it and in the same language the animal had spoken thanked the woods for the blessing. She picked it uo and carried it back over her shoulder.

onceuponatimeareview | 8405 comments He got up. He hated the eerie silence she gave him. He did nothing wrong to her but give her the facts. He did say sorry. Wasn't that good enough for her.

message 115: by [deleted user] (new)

She just wasn't a talker. She hadn't been around many people and trusted fewer so having to speak out loud to them pained her. She didn't trust him alone with the house and that was the only reason he was here. She trudged back to her house, strangely noticing his eyes were piercing and beautifully blue like a wolf's.

onceuponatimeareview | 8405 comments "You know if I did something wrong I understand if you didn't speak to me. I said I was sorry for your information." He said with low voice. He looked up at her. "I being nice at least you be nice back." He muttered.

message 117: by [deleted user] (new)

"Sorry. I understand. I just no like this language. So strange. Not like how I speak with forest. Hurts mouth when say too much." She adjusted the bobcat on her shoulder.

onceuponatimeareview | 8405 comments He looked up at her. "Sometimes people say more quiet then aloud." He did his best with the crushes. "To show kindness you don't have to talk."

message 119: by [deleted user] (new)

"I do not understand your meaning of kindness." she said bluntly. She reached the cabin and opened the door for him know he couldn't with the crutches.

onceuponatimeareview | 8405 comments "Never mind." He stumbled along. Yet was are to walk still with them.

message 121: by [deleted user] (new)

She went in and sat down immediantly skinning the beast, "Your clothes dirty. Make new with this skin."

onceuponatimeareview | 8405 comments "It's fine." He shook his head. "I'll be leaving soon anyways."

message 123: by [deleted user] (new)

"Need to use for something. New clothes," she said firmly. It was probably as kind as she'd been in a while and probably would be until he left.

onceuponatimeareview | 8405 comments "I'm fine." He said. He laid back.

message 125: by [deleted user] (new)

She continued skinning the animal and when she was done hung it outside to dry. She came back in and started hanging strips of meat near the fire to smoke it.

onceuponatimeareview | 8405 comments He closed his eyes and fell asleep. He was tired.

message 127: by [deleted user] (new)

She continued working.

onceuponatimeareview | 8405 comments He didn't know what she was doing. He yawned. He hated having to sit down.

message 129: by [deleted user] (new)

She washed the bones and any inedible meat she saved for other purposes. She rarely wasted anything.

onceuponatimeareview | 8405 comments He woke up. "Hello." He whispered.

message 131: by [deleted user] (new)

"Hello. Hungry?"

onceuponatimeareview | 8405 comments He nodded his head. He stretch a bit. "Yeah." He smiled and looked down.

message 133: by [deleted user] (new)

"Meat by fire. Fresh."

onceuponatimeareview | 8405 comments "Thanks." He got up slowly using the crutches. He grabbed a piece and went back.

message 135: by [deleted user] (new)

She was spinning the inedible meat into a thick thread unrecognizable as either meat or string.

onceuponatimeareview | 8405 comments He watch her work. He was bored. He hated being bed ridden.

message 137: by [deleted user] (new)

She finished making the thread and hung it to dry. She told him, "Stand. I need measure you for clothes." She took down the bobcat skin which didn't look like it'd be enough. Luckily she had some extra deer skin she'd been saving for winter.

onceuponatimeareview | 8405 comments "Ok." He did as she said. He wasn't going to get on her bad side. "This isn't very necessary." He said.

message 139: by [deleted user] (new)

"Bobcat skin doesn't last. Me too many clothes. Yours dirty and ugly. Make new." She wrapped it around various parts of him seeing how it fit best her fingers occassionally grazing his skin.

onceuponatimeareview | 8405 comments "Thanks but..." He just dropped the subject. Trying to not make her mad. He shivered as she touched his skin.

message 141: by [deleted user] (new)

She blushed a little and nodded. She sat on the bed and began folding and cut and sewing the skin at what seemed like random.

onceuponatimeareview | 8405 comments He smiled. "Thanks for being nice to be." He said.

message 143: by [deleted user] (new)

"Like I said. Skin not keep." She shrugged it off but smiled a little at the conpliment.

onceuponatimeareview | 8405 comments "Ok." He smiled.

message 145: by [deleted user] (new)

She sewed little patterns on what was slowly becoming a shirt.

onceuponatimeareview | 8405 comments He sat down. To relax.

message 147: by [deleted user] (new)

She finished the shirt and threw in too him, turning to the deerskin to cutit into pants.

onceuponatimeareview | 8405 comments "Thanks." He said as he caught the shirt.

message 149: by [deleted user] (new)

"Should fit. Try on."

onceuponatimeareview | 8405 comments "Ok." He nodded and he took his shirt off. Then he put the shirt on. "It fits." He said with a smile.
