"Is she now? I wonder how she'll make it through the halls, with all the camera's, but we will see how she fairs with that." He said then nodded when he went on to tell him how he had become the half breed in the first place. So, he had been made into one. By someone almost draining him and then he supposed the black haired girl giving him her blood in order to save him. Deciding not to call anyone to inform them of the break in. Seeing as he really was interested in how she'd fair getting through the halls without being detected.

Grace stopped right before she made the next- and last turn that would take them to the room her mate was in. Something was wrong... not with herself but with Will. Something wasn't right. "Somethings wrong.."

Raven looked at her. "What's wrong we can't stop if we don't want to get caught." She was a little tick at this. They went over the plan multiple times and she made it clear that they couldn't stop for know reason with the risk of getting caught. "This better really good" she hissed. "We don't have much time before the cameras back on."


Will looked at him. "She used me to live little pesky vampire I wouldn't mind snapping her neck. Grace is blinded by freedom she doesn't understand there is war coming and the werewolves will win."

"I can still sense him.. that's not the problem. But somethings--- off. Like he isn't himself any more." Grace said trying to come up with the best way on how to explain what she was feeling to Raven. Knowing she wouldn't understand. She wasn't a werewolf and as far as she knew had never had a mate. Although she didn't judge her, it took time to find one's mate. Letting loss of a breath before saying "Lets get going before the camera's kick back on." Seeing as they could figure out what was so wrong later once they had Will back.



"What is the name of the vampire you speak of? " He asked, he had seen her with them a few times but it was always for a short amount of time and they were always too far away to catch a name. So he didn't know the name of the vampire but he knew who he was referring to because he had seen the girls face. "The war, you speak of... who is it with? Is it against the vampires or another race?"

Raven sighed and nodded. She took her arm and dragged her out fast soon they were in the woods. "Call me once you figure out is wrong." She hissed. "Next time we aren't backing out."


"Her name is Raven. The vampires don't like us the Queen wants to destory us." Will said looking at the wolvesbane. "Please I can have it." He begged his wolf side started to make cries in the back of his throat like he was begging. Looking at the another vial knowing that they would give him that as a shot to make him mindless, but he didn't care he wanted the wolvesbane.

Grace started shaking her head frantic to go back in and find Will. She knew somehow that he couldn't withstand another day. And if he did he'd be even worse when they went back in than if they did it now, and got him out. "No,--- no. We have to go back in. We have to get him out now. Today. If we don't,---- " She didn't even want to think about this. The what if's. The chance of him not being the same ever again if he stayed for another day. They could turn him against both of them in a matter of hours if it wasn't already too late. Seeing as it had already been a month. What had they done to him in that time? Was he even still her Will? The Will she remembered and loved? Or had they turned him on her as well a long time ago and he wanted her dead now? Sending her thought out hoping he'd be able to hear her although they were back outside and he was trapped inside still. 'please Will..... just hold on. Hold on, for me.'


"Ahhh, Raven. So that's the girl who changed you... gave you her blood. What of Grace? Does she suspect the war is coming or is she blind to that as well?" He asked, picking up the bottle of wolvesbane and slipping a little on his finger and sticking it out for him to taste. They hadn't told him to start with the shots yet. And with any luck at this rate they wouldn't need to start with them.

Raven shook her head no. "Absolutely not we aren't going back there. We had our chance now we have to replan." She said whirling around looking at him.

Will looked at him as he started to fight it. "I'm not going to do give up. I'm not going to be a mindless puppet." He looked at the wolvesbane. "I'm not going to be a mindless puppet." He spat, but once the shot happened he would be become so mindless. The finger was in his finger taunting him. "No I know how this works no." He said trying to fight it.

Grace started shaking her head again. "You don't understand.... we HAVE to get him out, today. I don't know how much longer he can hold on... if they haven't already broken him already. " She said growing more frantic, by the minute.



Derek shrugged and whipping the bit he had on his finger on his pants. Seeing as he had refused it. "Go ahead and try--- besides, we've already gotten what we want." He said looking Will over. It wasn't the fact that they wanted to make him part of the pack, or even a weapon. It was the info that they had really wanted. Info on the girl with black hair that he now knew her name was Raven and how Grace was. And they had gotten both.

"You want Grace and your not going to get Grace without me." Will said. "You will need me to get Raven and or Grace." He hissed. The alpha walked in.

"Give him the shots now. I want him to be mindless Grace will come back too. We will defeat the vampires." The alpha said.


"No we aren't going back in there." Raven snapped. "We had the chance to get him out."

Derek wasn't afraid of the Alpha, mainly because they had been friends while growing up and were still friends and not to minchen that he was second in command to the Alpha. But he had said that he'd take on the task of getting the info out of Will and breaking him as well. Walking a little ways away and nodding to the Alpha to come with him out into the hall for a word. Hoping that what he was about to suggest didn't cause to much trouble.



Grace didn't like the idea of leaving Will, in there for even another hour. But she also knew that she wasn't thinking straight. She was more considered with saving and making sure her mate was okay than any danger that might come at her in there. Letting out a deep breath and nodding her head finally seeing reasoning with Raven's words. "Fine. But we regroup fast, and we get back here even faster."

"What is it Derek?" The alpha asked. "I know you're concerned about Grace she's your sister, but she betrayed the pack. Will is dangerous, but we can also use him to help with the vampire problem." He said.

Ruby looked at him and nodded. "Nick is us going to work out?" She asked softly. "I'm tired of fighting." She whispered. "We are going to have to fight and I don't want to. I don't want to fight anymore." Tears ran down her face.

Raven sighed "I know your worried about Will.,but he will be fine." She said. "I'm not risking my life because of this instinct."

Derek knew that Grace was his sister there was no need to remind him of that, seeing as when she had betrayed the pack she had also betrayed him not just with the pack but on a deeper level. Letting out a breath, and running his hand through his hair. "Maybe we don't need to start with the shoots.... seeing as to me, it seems like he hates both Grace and the other girl enough without it. Plus if we play our cards right we'll still be able to get him to help out with the vamp problem we have." Yes, it was a risk but from what he'd seem so far it might just very well work.


"Yes, we're going o work out... it might not always be perfect between us, but we will get that happily ever after." Nick told her pulling her against himself and hugging her tight. "We can always figure something out,--- we always do. Besides, if it comes to it we can send out word that we need help and ask people to stand behind us." He told her reaching out and swiping her tears away.


Grace let out a ragged breath, not liking the fact that she knew Raven was right. And also knowing she wouldn't willingly walk back in there for a second time today and risk her life like that. "Okay.... then lets get back to the house so that we can come up with a better plan--- one that works."

Gale sighed. "No we are starting the shots now. Grace will come back. You will have your sister back. We will have a new member of the pack and a way to make an army" He said looking at him. "Grace will have to go on the shots for awhile so she wouldn't betray them."

Ruby looked up at him. "I don't want to fight " She whispered. "I'm tired Nick" Shaking her head. "I can't do it"

Raven nodded her head some. "Its going to be okay "

"You know Grace will fight it.. she always does. I'm not saying this to defend my sister for betraying the pack, or to piss you off. Seeing as I'm not too happy with her for doing it either at the moment. I'm telling you this because I feel like you have a right to know, and also because I'm not telling you this as your beta I'm telling you this as your friend.... " Seeing as he knew his sister, almost as well as he knew himself. Or so he had thought he had. Before she had betrayed them and siding with Will and the others instead of them. But he also knew that at some time she'd come back trying to rescue Will. And when she did, they'd be ready for her.


Nick let out a breath, resting his chin on top of her head. "I know, love.... I know. If you don't want too lead the army when we get one together, I can lead it if you want. That way you don't have to do it." He said thinking that might help her a little bit.


Grace hopped Raven was right. Because everything inside of her, was screaming at her that it wouldn't be okay. Not for another day-- or another week. It was screaming at her that she needed to go back inside, march down the halls that they had come from and rescue Will no matter the coast to herself. But she knew she couldn't do that, it would only get her killed. Nodding her head mostly to convince herself more than Raven. "Okay---"

Looking at him. "Derek I'm being serious we need to get him with the shots now before its too late. I know you care for your sister, but she should have thought of that before betraying everyone including you most of all. Grace is naivee and wants love, but right now we have to be concerned about the whole pack and the war against the vampires" Gale said. "I have to go" He said walking away.

Ruby shook her head. "You don't get Nick I'm tired." She whispered hearing a knock at the door. Avery woke up. Ruby walked out there and picked up Avery bouncing her. Seeing her sister with a guy. "Hello Rose."

Rose smiled wondering up to her mate. "This is Jacob." She said. "My mate." Of course she was completely under his control like most female vampires.

Raven looked at her hoping she didn't do something stupid like ditch her. "This time we are playing it my way since your way didn't work."

Derek nodded before he walked away to do whatever he needed to do. Turning back to the door that would take him back into the room where they had left Will. Opening the door and walking inside. "Okay, so here's what's going to happen.." he said not really caring if he answered or not. Seeing as he didn't expect an answer he was just saying it to fill the slince.


Jacob had thought that going to Ruby's new house to visit with her and Nick would be good. Seeing as he had noticed that Rose wasn't acting quit like herself lately hoping that this would help. "It's nice to finally meet Roses sister.. I've heard so much about you." He said looking at Ruby, while wrapping a loss arm around Rose's waist.

Nick stood back a little ways but then sensed something wasn't--- right. It was Ruby's sister sure. But she also wasn't like herself. Or at least, she wasn't like this the last time they'd been together. So that meant that they had just meet and got together. Walking up and wrapping an arm firmly around Ruby's waist to let her know she wasn't in this alone. "It's good to see you again-- I'm Nick. Ruby's mate."


"I'm not stupid... I wasn't planning on ditching." She said knowing that; that was what Raven had been thinking. Even though she hadn't said it, but she had known. "Okay." She said hoping that they would start heading back soon seeing as she wanted to get started planning again.

Ruby felt Nick wrapped his arms around her. She smiled softly everything was okay. "Why don't you come in?" She asked. "I'm sorry for not asking sooner." Opening the door and leading them to the living room setting Avery down near her elephant which made her quiet for now.

Rose felt a little guilty of spying on her sister, but it was for their own good. Jacob didn't know what she was doing and it killed her inside not to tell him. She told him everything, but this. He wasn't some crazy mate who took advantage of the ability to control her. He was kind and sweet.

Jacob nodded as they walked into the living room behind Ruby and her mate. "Oh don't worry about it.. " He said as looked down at Rose to see what she was thinking. Usually he could tell by the look on her face, seeing that she was happy to see her sister but also-- something unnerved her about the whole visit. But he couldn't tell what did it. Leaning down and whispering "What's wrong?" in her ear hoping that she'd either tell him or think it to him. He tried to be sweet and kind to her as much as possible. But sometimes his controlling side broke through. So more times than not she was under his control. But he tried not to totally dominate her either.

Rose glanced up to Jacob then look down some. My parents don't like Nick he's a human turned vampire, they are really worried that he won't be fit to be kind because he doesn't act like a vampire. They wanted me to give them a progress report on them. Maybe you could do help Nick let go? Rose looked at her sister and smiled softly. "Hi."

Ruby smiled softly. "So what brings you guys here today?" Her sister never came over before or even cared enough about her.

Jacob had wondered on why they had come, or more like-- why she had liked the idea and had come willingly without him having to force her too. Nodding his head slightly so that she would know he understood and he'd try his best. "We just wanted to see how things have been going for you. Sense you have a new house and new baby as well." He said not giving Rose a chance to say anything.


Nick gave a nod to Ruby's sister and mate as they sat down on the coach. Looking down seeing that Avery was starting to play with one of her toys, and wasn't paying them any mind. As far as his little girl was concerned they were just friends of her mother and father. That had come over and they were talking too.

Ruby looked at them. "Am I suppose to believe my sister has a change of heart because I don't know if you guys realized this, but my daughter is 6 months and we been living in the house for 6 months neither of them are new." She said coldly. "Rose you don't care about anyone, but yourself. Do you even know your nieces name or her favorite animal?" Rose didn't answer her because she was just going to let Jacob do the talking. "You couldn't say anything before and now that your mated you have him to talk for you. I call that a coward." Ruby had every right to be mad why did her family care so much of all the sudden where were they all this time?

"Yes, seeing as she was the one that brought it up. That we should come and visit with you, for a while. Although we didn't know that you've been living here for six months nor that your daughter was also six months old." Jacob said in answer to her sister's question about rather or not they knew her daughters name and that they had no idea that they'd been living in the house for six months sense no one had informed them.


Nick could sense how much tension was in Ruby. Sure she was wondering why, her family hadn't cared and hadn't been around. But now was all the sudden interested in what they were doing. Had they done something wrong that they didn't know about doing and they were here to check it out or something? He wondered, as he looked between Rose and Jacob. "Umm, how about if I go get some drinks?" Seeing as that seemed like a polite thing to do.. even if it wasn't the normal vamp thing to do. Giving Ruby's shoulder a squeeze and thinking to her as he got up. you going to be okay for a minute or two?

"Jacob I don't know how long you and my sister have been together, but she knew I was going to have a baby and she knew where my parents bought the place. So maybe you should get all the facts before you butt into a conversation that you aren't involved in." Ruby said. I will go get the drinks you can stay and chat. Jacob obviously doesn't know Rose as good as he thinks he does

Rose sighed some seeing Ruby leaving. She was going to let her sister to see the hurt. It was true that she wasn't the best sister in the whole world, but she did care and Jacob was the only one who wasn't quick to judge her on her past. Maybe you should have this talk with him so we can go. I don't want to be intruding here or anything and clearly I'm not welcomed

Nick nodded slightly letting go of Ruby's shoulder when she 'told' him that she'd go get the drinks. And that he could stay and chat. Leaning back on the coach trying to show that he was clam and relaxed. Even though on the inside he really wasn't. He was worried about Ruby and how she was feeling. Looking down, seeing that their little girl was still playing with her toy's and crawling around. "So----- Congrats on the whole, getting together thing." He said knowing very well from how Jacob and Rose were acting that they'd already mated, and all. Plus he was just trying to make small talk that wouldn't get him in any trouble nor make things harder on Ruby when she came back.


'Just hang in there for a while longer baby... I'm hoping that we can talk away from your sister that way I can get more info on him.' He thought to her, starting to rub a hand up and down her arm hoping it would help her relax. Seeing as he could tell that she was stressing about all of this.

'Okay, I'll go get it out..' he said moving forward some to make like he was getting up to use the restroom. "Which way is your restroom?" he asked seeing as that way he could go get it from her purse without causing too much questioning. And seeing as it was in the hall closet he would just take a detour. Not bothering to comment on the congrats and all.


Nick wondered what was going on, briefly but then thought it was nothing, more than a pit stop. Waving a hand to the hallway. "Up the hall, last door on your left." He said watching as he left, before turning to look back at Rose.

Jacob didn't bother going into the bathroom and pretending. Seeing as he remembered what door was the closet that they'd put their jackets and her purse in. Walking to it and pulling it open before digging around in her purse for it. Finding it easily, right on top where she had told him she'd put it before they left to come over. Hearing her in his head telling him to hurry because her sister was returning. Pulling it out and zipping it and shoving it back into the closet then starting back. 'I'm on my way back now..' he said as he reached the end of the hall that lead back into the living room.


Nick let out a breath, turning and looking to see if Ruby was almost done getting them or if she had deiced to waist some more time before coming back in. Personally he couldn't blame her if she had deiced on the second. Seeing as if the roles where reversed he'd want to do the same too. Looking back when he heard Jacob's footsteps coming back. Nodding slightly as he walked back into the room.

Jacob looked up when he heard Ruby going back into the kitchen. Maybe she'd forgotten to get something, at least he hoped she had, that would give them time to give Nick the shoot and come up with a story to tell before her sister got back. Coming up with the perfect way on how to do it. Shoving it in his pocket so that Nick wouldn't see it. "Hey, Nick do you know anything about cars?"

Nick looked up when Jacob asked him if he knew anything about cars, wondering if he was having car problems. "Yeah, I know enough to fix em'. Why you having car troubles?"

"Yeah, I think it might be something under the hood but I can't figure out where it's coming from. Seeing as it started up again on the way over. You mind taking a look for me?" He asked, then once they were outside and the hood was up he'd give him the shoot.

"Sure, no problem, you wanna go check it out now that way we don't need to do it before you guys leave?" He asked mostly just wanting to go out of the house and get away form the tenstion for at least a few moments.

"Yeah, I'd hate to take away your time when were about to leave." He said then looked over at his mate. "You going to be okay while we go check it out love?"



"I know you were thinking it.... I could see it on your face. About me trying to ditch you and break back in on my own..." She said calcifying what she meant. So that the vamp didn't mistake it and think that she was talking about her being stupid and all when really she wasn't. "Come on... if were going to go. We should do it now that way we can get another plan set. And do it fast." Grace said as she started to walk away so that they could get back to the car and then back to the house to regroup and make a new plan.

Nick fallowed him to the door so that they could go out and check out the car, and hopefully find whatever was making the noise. Thinking to Ruby as he went out. "We'll be back in a minute, Jacob wants me to check something on his car.'



Grace walked with her, then they reached the car. Digging out the keys and unlocking it before climbing into the drivers side seat. Not bothering to say anything until they were in the car again. "Right." She said more to herself than to Raven, but she'd still catch the hint.

'Hurry Jacob she's coming back in just do it now, he won't notice he will be too busy' Rose felt bad about doing this and she just wanted it down. She had no choice it wasn't like she could tell her parents no.

Raven sighed not wanting to deal with this right now.

'It'll only take a moment... promise.' He thought to her, as Jacob popped the hood and then he started taking a look under it. Seeing everything was where it was supposed to be. And nothing seemed out of the ordinary. "You sure, somethings wrong with it? Seeing as everything looks fine and up to date." he said then felt something sting his leg. Looking down and seeing a needle in it. Reaching down and yanking it out quickly before Jacob had a chance to shoot whatever was inside of it into him. Tossing it to the ground and steeping on it to break it.

Rose knew what happened, but she also knew that the serum only had to make contact with his leg and once it entered his body it would sting. One....two.....three.....'Jacob the serum should be working around now all it matters is that it stung him'

"It was something that was suppose to make you more like a male vampire.. it wasn't our idea though. Her parents wanted us to come over and sneak it into you." he said not really wanting to lie about it. But then again either way it would look bad.


"How do I get it out of my system? We've been through this once before, and it didn't work well. And I'm only going to ask this once, so you better tell me."

"I don't know, I didn't bother asking about that." He said looking down at the crushed vile.

Ruby walked out of the house. "Nick I been trying to get you to answer for bit now is everything okay?" She asked looking up at him concerned and worried about him.

Rose saw Ruby storm out of the house. It was for the best she knew he would want to control her. He would be a male vampire then everything will be fine.

Nick turned around when he heard Ruby coming out asking him if everything was okay, or not seeing as she had been trying to get him to answer for a while. "Sorry... no. Go back inside Ruby..... Jacob and your sister were just leaving." He said turning back to Jacob when he said the last part. Giving him a death stare so that he understood that he was serious.


Jacob risked a glance over Nick's shoulder at Ruby when he heard her come out, knowing that sooner or later it would kick in and he'd want to control her. And then her parents would be happy. He thought as he nodded once slowly when Nick said that they were just leaving. Starting to head around them so that he could go back inside and tell Rose.

"Nick if something is wrong I can help." Ruby said looking up at him. "Did I do something wrong?" She asked him softly knowing full well that could be a possibility. Maybe she was just too clingy, but she didn't see why she had to go in. "Nick I don't see why I have to go back inside if they are leaving?"

Rose was waiting started to get anxious maybe the serum didn't work and then her parents would flip on her. Looking down twirling her hair?

Nick didn't answer her until he saw Jacob dart into the house to go get Rose. Then he turned back to Ruby, "No, you didn't do anything wrong... but I need you to go call Raven. Ask her to come over, as soon as she can. " He said glancing over her shoulder to see that he was out of the entrance hall. Probably already in the living room.


Jacob had almost run into the house to get Rose, so that they could leave. But had stopped himself and had just walked fast instead. Reaching the living room within only a few seconds of leaving Nick and Ruby outside. "Come on, we're leaving..."

Ruby looked at him. "Why can't you call Raven? And what's going on?" She snapped. "I deserve to know and I don't need you giving me orders either." Looking down quickly.

"Wait we can't leave until we see if it works" Rose said. "My parents will kill me."

Nick ran a hand through his hair. He was barely keeping it together. Seeing as he needed to stay in control and shake off whatever that was in the vile was doing to him. "Because, I'm not me---- and I'm trying so hard to not loose it and start barking orders at you. Jacob slipped me something in a vile that he shoved in my leg. I didn't think any got into me, seeing as I tore it out as soon as I felt it go in, but some of it must of. Seeing as I-- don't feel like myself. I feel like I was before." He told her, looking her in the eye hoping she'd be willing to help him.


"Yeah, and if we don't he's going to snap my neck." He said waving a hand towards the door where he'd come from and where Nick and Ruby still where. "Besides if they try to come after you I'll protect you."

Ruby looked at him he sounded angry at her. Nick never got angry at her. "You already are barking orders at me." She said in a low cold voice. Looking down sighing. "I can't do nothing about my parents want you to act like a real male vampire and there's nothing I can do. If its not the stupid elders its my parents." She pivoted towards the door she was at her breaking point. Opening the door. "Don't worry Jacob it is my parents don't have to come after her because I'm here to do it for them." She couldn't take this all she wanted was her happy ending and when she seemed like it was going to happen someone had to walk in and screw it up. Throwing her sister against a wall.

"I just want my happy ended for once and if I close to it someone has to screw it up."

"Stop it Ruby." Rose said looking up as her sister picked it up again and threw her against the wall.

Nick was going to have to control her because she wasn't going to stop until Rose was dead or close to it.

Nick let out a frustrated breath as he watched her storm back into the house, angry at him for already barking orders at her. Didn't she understand that he had been durged and he was fighting it off as hard as he was without trying to bark orders at her or hurt her? Hell he was already loosing his mind trying to hold it back, and she didn't understand. Whipping out his phone and dialing Raven's number hoping she'd actually pick up. And wasn't off doing something already like she was so fond of doing. Growling when she didn't pick up fast enough. Then barking that she better get over here fast once she did pick up and not saying more than that. Before also heading into the house, finding Ruby had Rose pinned against the wall.


Jacob had run over to try and stop Ruby from hurting her sister and his mate when she had slammed her against the wall and started yelling at her that all she wanted was her happy ending. Only to have her fling him across the room and away from the two of them.


It only took a moment for Nick to access what was going on, and who was threatening who. Running over and standing by the two girls, but not touching Ruby either. Afraid she'd get even more upset with him if he tired too. "You need to stop---- it isn't Roses fault, that Jacob gave me the shoot."

"No I'm not going to stop." Ruby said coldly. "Where do you think he got that shot? Mars? My parents gave that shot to Rose to give to you, but now that she has her mate to hide behind. My parents don't approve you because your not a real vampire and no one else approves of you either." Looking at her sister. "Jacob maybe here, he but isn't fighting your fight you coward."

Rose felt herself hit the wall again. "This is why female vampires don't have a free mind because our minds can't be trusted. Maybe my sister is a little soft for humans. How about the fact that you turned him illegally? Mother and father are letting that go by, but Nick needs to prove he is real vampire and both you and your daughter will be killed." Rose said getting up and limping over to Jacob. "Nick control your mate" She said Rose was trying to help if her sister didn't see what was at stake here then there was no trying to help.

Jacob grabbed at Rose when she broke free and came over to him holding her to his chest in a protective manner. Not wanting her to try and go after Ruby seeing as that would only cause more problems. And they didn't need that right now. "Rose is right you know..... They threatened to kill them if you didn't start acting like a real male vampire. And that includes controlling your mate." He said looking at Nick over Ruby's head.


Nick grabbed on to Ruby when her sister broke free and limped over to her mate. So that way she couldn't go after either one of them again. Seeing as he didn't know how much more Rose could stand, and he didn't want to see Ruby hurt herself either. Listening to what they had to say. "That doesn't mean your allowed to come in our house and drug one of it's owners by shooting something into his leg. You could of come and talked to us." He said thinking to Ruby in her mind "Just clam down--- it's okay.' Starting to feel the effects of the drug warring off.
