"Where's Ruby? " He asked quickly taking a peek in the nursery. seeing the necklace on her."Vampire's can only get have a certain amount of babies and most of them are planned by the Elders. She was knew elder and she thought she was helping them out. And she did." He said quickly. "Your mate is about to take the child." He pointed out. "We don't have much time the only thing we can do is awaken the blood fairy side of her. I found the incantation you have to say in order for it to work" Ruby looked over to them. She had Avery in her arms and she was ready to get that darkness. She walked out of the temporary nursery mindless. "I'm going to get more of what I need." She said to them as she started to walk towards the door. Her common sense wasn't working and it didn't help that she was so far under Nick's control either.
Will shook his head some he wasn't going snooping in his mind. Listen I'm not going to argue with you. Just because you send a letter to your alpha that doesn't mean he will listen. Will snapped at her. You should have known better instead you let me take you to the place you were going to kill me He was angry and upset. He thought that she would know that alphas didn't have to listen.

Nick hadn't anticipated that if he left Ruby alone for just a moment she would try and kidnap Avery so that she could turn her over for more darkness. Turning to Hunter and asking, "where's that incantation that I need to say?" Seeing as he didn't want her walking out of here with Avery to turn her over in order to get something that she didn't need. Wishing that he'd hurry up and get that incantation out so that he could stop her. Yes, it had been a risk sending a letter to the alpha. But she had trusted that he would listen to her seeing as before she had been sent and before she had found out that she was Will's mate--- she had been new, yes. But she had also gained the respect of some of the higher ups. So she had felt sure that he would listen and not send people after Will. And listening to what he was saying now only made her feel worse about the whole thing. She should of thought all of it through, calculated how much of a chance it was that he wouldn't listen and send people anyways. Letting out a deep breath that showed in the cold air. I thought he would, I might of been new to that pack but I gained the respect of some of the higher ups, pretty fast. Why I don't know. So I thought he'd be willing to listen and not send people after us. And no one told me were to do it at---- but after the day in the library I knew I couldn't do it even if that ended up putting my life at risk.
Hunter quickly handed Nick the incantation and went over to where Ruby was and carefully grabbed Avery out her arms. "Give her back I need her to get what I need." She said turning around swiftly looking at Nick. "Make him give her back." She shouted. The cries filled the room. She was about to go after Nick.You are a fool to think if anyone listens to a new pack member. Will said as he turned around. He was going to walk away from here alive and if the wolf went after he would kill him. He honestly couldn't believe that Grace actually thought the alpha would listen to her.

Nick shook his head, sensing that she could-- and would come after him at any moment if he didn't do what she wanted and made Hunter give Avery back to her. But that wasn't something that he could let happen either. "No. I'm not going to let him give her back to you. We've already been over this countless times, and the answer hasn't changed. Your not taking her to the Elders in order to get Darkness in return." He said simply looking at her for a long moment before starting to chant. Grace felt herself go into a slight stage of shock. But tried to push it away seeing as she couldn't do this if she was in a panic. She had always considered herself to be somewhat smart. Seeing as when she was in school she would always bring home A's and B's. But when it came to this, she hadn't made the best idea. Thinking that the Alpha of a new pack would actually listen to her. And here she was now, watching as her mate walked away from her. Turning to see the wolf that had been trying to sneak up on them finally come into view. Sending him a death stair and thinking to the new comer. come any closer to us and I wont think twice about going after you if you try and hurt him.
Ruby kept moving towards him and then something happened. Her body collapsed on the floor. Something didn't feel right about this. She winced a little at the pain in her body. Then all of the sudden everything was clear the necklace disappeared. It was like it was never there. Something else was rushing through her a power she never felt before. Not only that there was a new hunger other than blood. She sat up slowly and looked at Hunter. She could picture kissing him and taking his soul. She jumped back a little at the thought of kissing him or even taking his soul. "Nick what did you do to me?" She asked looking at him all she wanted to do was kiss him and do many other things. Something was wrong. Hunter looked at them. "Nick I'm going to find a way to get in contact with you know who." Meaning Ruby's real mom handing him Avery.
Stop Grace I don't need your help. Will kept walking as he walked into a net.
The alpha came out walking. "Surprise. You did well Grace" he said grabbing the net with Will in it. He didn't have to shift. "Now what to do with you." He said.

Nick looked at her sadly. He hadn't really known what it would do to her but he could sense some of what she was feeling. And most of it was confusion on what was going on. Along with some weird feelings that she didn't recognize. Taking Avery back as Hunter handed her to him. "Okay, I'll try and keep her clam." He told her before walking over and placing a still sleeping Avery back in her crib. Going over and sitting next to Ruby on the floor. "How do you feel?" A silly question phraphs but he needed to know. Grace couldn't believe how dumb she had been. She should of known better, than to think anyone in the pack would actually listen to her. And the higher ups that had said she'd gained their respect had to have been lying to her face. She hadn't gained anyone's respect and here she was. Watching as her mate got caught and now getting threatened herself. What in the world had she gotten them into? Forcing herself to stay calm. Let him go---- he's one of us. And if you try to hurt him, I will come after you.
Ruby sighed as he was avoiding her question all together. She didn't really know how to answer that. She felt very different all together. "I feel weird." Her eyes wondered to his lips she quickly pushed her lips against his. Finding herself wanting his soul. Why did she want his soul? What was happening? She didn't want to stop kissing him until she got his soul. "You taste fantastic." She whispered she felt herself started to feed off of him. Ruby knew something was wrong it was like this was something automated and not in her control. Run Will screamed in her head. Go find Raven and the others Will hoped she wouldn't stay here and try to fight the alpha that would be very stupid on her part.

Nick had read up on blood fairy's so he knew that they ate souls. And it always started out with them making out with their prey. Which he was about to come for Ruby if he didn't pull away from her. Hearing her say that he tasted fantastic. Kissing her only once more before pulling away. "maybe you should rest... seeing as you feel so weird. Then later when your feeling better we'll finish up." Grace heard his scream in her head. And knew why he yelled at her to run to get help. She couldn't win a fight with an Alpha. She was still too new even though she had been a were all her life she still wasn't strong enough to take on an Alpha a live. That could only lead to her death. Only children of the Alpha and further ups could take on any Alpha and live. And she was neither. But leaving also meant leaving Will alone with the Pack and risking him getting hurt or worse killed...
"I feel fine. I'm just really hungry." She said before kissing him again. Ruby pressed harder against his lips. "You don't want to stop this now do you." She said her instincts were taking over her and she wasn't quite sure why she was doing it, but her stomach growled and this taste good. Blood fairy's were closer related to succubuses than vampires. This side of her had been surpressed for so long and she needed something right away. "You just want keep kissing me." She said persuasion was heavy in her voice. Grace run I will be fin run before you are next Will looked at her. Was she trying to get herself kill? This whole thing was making him upset and the biggest part was she was just sitting there thinking about fighting the Alpha.

Nick knew that it wasn't right. That he needed to break away and stop the kiss before she really did take his soul and he became an uncaring jerk. Or worse. But the way she was talking-- he could almost taste the persuasion she was laying on him. Trying to fight it off but not her. Finally forcing himself to pull away again. "No, this is wrong... I need to check on Avery anyways.." Okay so maybe it was half a lie but he really did need to check on there daughter. Grace spared a glance over at Will as he laid in the net that they had set and that she had not known about. Hoping he was right and that he would really be fine. Seeing as she couldn't come back only to find him dead. Not after everything they'd been through together. Nodding slightly, to him just enough that he'd be the only one to see it. Before starting to slowly back up so that she could get away and go get help. Thinking to him as she backed away. Be careful........ I'll be back soon Hoping he'd take it as a promise of her love for him and not as anything else.
Ruby watched him back away. She couldn't help, but feel like she did something wrong. She didn't say anything as she watched him walk away. Her stomach growled again. Ruby looked at the door. The feeling that she wasn't wanted started sink in again. It was probably better if she left. "I'm going to go find some food." She said as she started to walking to the door maybe there was something that tasted good somewhere else. Will watched her back away he didn't answer her. She better stay away he thought. The alpha was probably going to take him as prisoner in their camp.

It wasn't because he didn't love her anymore that he'd backed away. He had done it for safety reasons. So that she wouldn't take his soul and so that Avery would still have a father. Walking over and gently taking her temp again. Seeing as David had told them to take it twice every 3 hours. To make sure that the meds were working and nothing changed for the worse. Looking over when he heard her get up and say that she was going out to find something to eat. Hopefully nothing that would harm anyone. He thought calling back: "Okay, or do you want to order something?" She hoped that he'd be careful seeing as he hadn't answered her and hadn't thought anything to her either. Darting away and heading back for town to find Raven and the others. Seeing as with this she'd need help. Help getting Will out, and making sure they were still both still alive when she did.
"Nah I think I'm going to dine out."She said walking out the door quickly. Just a couple days ago she felt like she was a part of a happy family and now she felt like it was just Avery and Nick. Then there was her someone just watching everything happen. As she walked out she wasn't even sure if she would bother coming back. There had a be a way for her to get some souls. It startled her a bit when she thought that and she knew Nick would feel everything she is thinking. Will sighed some as they started to drag him off back to where their pack was. This was going to be interesting he though silently to him.

Nick felt that something was wrong even before he knew what it was. Thinking to her as he took the thremortor out 'Is everything okay?" Seeing as he didn't want her out alone if something was bothering her. That could never be a good thing. Grace had never wanted it to come to this. And she had truly thought that the Alpha would listen to her when she had wrote that Will was her mate . Seeing as he regarded his with such high standers that she had thought he would respect her wish of them not coming for hers. She had been wrong, She thought as she ran to where she hopped Raven and hopefully the others would be.
Everything is okay. Ruby lied she could smell the souls and she felt her body melt at the smells. Part of her was worried because this was new and Nick never did answer her what he did to her. She quickly grabbed some random guy and brought him to an alley way. Her lips attacked his she could feel something rush through her body. Ruby was feeding and she didn't even realize it. Will felt his body be dragged. He didn't howl or struggle that wouldn't be a good. He knew what werewolves did to prisoners after all he did the same thing to countless prisoners. He couldn't believe Grace thought it would work. She wasn't probably experienced like he thought she was.

Nick felt a gasp go through him, something was wrong. Closing his eyes and kneeling down by the crib so that he didn't fall. Seeing somehow through his mind Ruby. In an alley way kissing and then sucking out a soul of a young man. Thinking to her, 'Can you come back once your done? Avery wants you to hold her...' Grace was experienced. Just not in the prisoner area. Seeing as that was something she had never wanted to do, and still didn't want to learn how to do. She thought, thinking again of Will. And how badly she wanted to get him out. To get him free so that they could be together again. Coming to a stop in front of the apartment building.
Ruby threw him on the ground when she was done her stomach was still hungry. What was wrong with her? She heard Nick she didn't answer him right a way. Sure I'm on my way. She lied again. Why was she so hungry? It was like she hadn't eaten anything in for so long. Her eyes caught another person who's soul smelt wonderful. She grabbed him and went into a different alley way. Ruby knew she really wasn't wanted so there really was no reason for her to go home.Will didn't want Grace to get her hopes up with them. They would probably have to take things slow. Honestly right now he didn't even want to see her.

Nick let out a sigh thankful that she'd be on her way soon. Then gasping again when he felt something else come over him. But still didn't know what it was for sure. 'thank you...' starting to try and get up so that he could go and rest himself thinking that maybe he hadn't gotten enough sleep or something. Seeing as they had been going none stop lately. She shifted back and then rung the bell. Looking for either Nick's last name or Raven's. Finding Raven's now and ringing the bell next to her name. Then waited.
Raven had been resting, after dealing with everything that had been going on she needed it. And also she had made sure that David was really okay before he had left and had been going and checking on him every couple of days. Even though he said he didn't need it. Sighing and getting up when she heard the bell ring. Buzzing the downstairs door open for Nick or whoever else it might be coming to see her.
Ruby threw that one on the ground after she was done. She looked at the guy. What was wrong with her? She didn't feel so good after that. Her body collapsed to the ground going limp she wasn't use to any of this. It then disappeared to coven of the blood faeries. Tons of them gathered around her in awe since there hadn't been one a new one in centuries. She didn't know where she was, but where ever it was she felt safe and at home.Hunter came back to tell Nick the news of her mom and how she should be there in a few. "Nick where's Ruby?" He asked he then saw him on the ground. "Are you okay?"

The guy had to be crazy to think that he was okay, seeing as he had just about passed out on the floor. Trying to straighten himself when he heard Hunter ask him if he was okay and where Ruby had gone. "I don't know, she walked out... Saying she needed to go find something to eat. At least I think that's what she said.... I don't know, I was checking on Avery and then all of sudden I had this pain. I didn't think anything of it until it happened again."
"You let a new blood fairy a creature that is worse than a succubus walk out on you?" Hunter asked. "She must have been feeding that means they might have her. If she says yes to a coven then you just lost Ruby." He said. "Once one joins one becomes under the control of the 'mother.' The elder lady was going to meet us here and explain everything. Nick do you have enough strength to track her?"

He'd beg to differ with the whole worse than a succubus seeing as he knew about those. Had done so research on them for his brother once. Pushing himself up from the floor, so that they could start tracking her. "Yeah, just give me a minute." He said getting himself under control enough to start. "Come on, I can track her.. Ruby laid their not moving. The others since someone coming and quickly left leaving her on the ground by their new house's pool. Since they used a portal to put her back at her house. So many questions raced through her head.

Nick stopped and changed dercetions when he headed for the front door but then turned back and headed for the back yard. Sense she seemed to be even closer than she had been before. Walking out the back door and finding her laying close to the pool. Walking over and picking her up and then carrying her back into the house before setting her down on the coach. Wondering how in the world she had gotten there seeing as she hadn't gone to the back and she had been further away, when he had been trying to track her. Even though he had been weak he had still known at some point were she was. Moving a piece of her hair out of her face. Looking over at Hunter. Grace hadn't expected a warm welcome. After all she knew that Raven didn't really care for her, and she couldn't really say she cared much for Raven either. But she did care for Will. So she was here. At Raven's. And about to ask from help. Taking only a moment to honestly get used to the idea of them possibly working together. Before saying: "I need help."
Ruby opened her eyes some to see Nick. She didn't know what was going on or how she got here and she knew she didn't want to be here. Her stomach growled she sat up and automatically kissed him hard. "Come on you know you want it." Her voice filled with persuasion. She carefully moved her lips to his neck and gently bit him teasing him. "Come on." Ruby didn't know what she was doing.Raven looked at her blocking the door way. "Why should I help you?" She asked crossing her arms.

Nick knew, just knew that it wasn't really Ruby. At least His Ruby that was acting this way. Sure it was Ruby, to a point but not the one he loved and wanted to someday marry. This was Blood Fairy Ruby. And he didn't know that Ruby. Hadn't even meet her before now. But it was clear that when he had done the chant that Hunter had given him it had changed her. In maybe even more ways than one. Hearing all the persuasion in her voice he could almost agree that he did want it. But he didn't want it like this. Not with Blood Fairy Ruby. He wanted it with His Ruby. Feeling a sharp nip at the base of his throat. Pulling away slightly but kissing her check softly. "You came... I didn't think you would. Avery still wants you to hold her." Grace didn't want to show any advance to what Raven was saying nor did she want to act like she was offended seeing as if she did either she would be less likely to help her than if she stayed clam. "Because, Will's in trouble and I can't do what it requires to save him alone."
Ruby looked at him and backed away slowly. Just knowing and sensing what he was feeling. He did something to her and now he didn't want her. Taking a deep breath. "I came to say goodbye. I realized that I'm not wanted here. That's fine you can raise Avery by yourself. You can go find another girl who you want. You can do whatever your heart desires. Also if you want to tell a lie you should tell a good one because Avery is sound asleep right now." She said coldly hiding any hurt she was feeling.Raven didn't answer. "What did you two fools get yourselves into?" She asked.

That was not what he wanted to hear. In fact it was the last thing he ever wanted to hear coming out of her mouth. It wasn't because he didn't want her anymore. It was because of what he had done to her that she was acting this way. "No,--- Strawberry, It's my fault that your so hungry, and you can't seem to get enough. And I will willingly do whatever it is you want me to do. Just as long as you don't walk out the door. You are wanted, we both love you so much. And Avery---- she would know something's wrong when you never came back." he said hoping his words would be enough to change her mind and that she'd stay. "Um, would you mind if I came in? I don't think it's something you'd want your neighbors over hearing..." She said hoping that she'd at least have the decintsy to let her come in so that they could talk.
Ruby looked at him. "No." She said. "You don't want me. Avery doesn't want me. All you care about is Avery. I really needed you a few days ago because I got addicted to the necklace. You decided it was better to control me. If you would have put that effort in then everything would be fine. Then you dodge my question on what you did to me. Whatever you did it wasn't by my permission. I love Avery and I love you, but you couldn't respect my wishes." She snapped. "I don't feel like you even care."Raven sighed and let her in. "Better make it quick were." She said.

"Yes we do.. I didn't know how else to handle it. The necklace was making you want to go trade our daughter in to the Elders to get more darkness in return. And I couldn't let you do that, and I hope you'd do the same to me if it ever happened to me. So I had no other chose at the time on rather or not to control you, or let you take our daughter and turn her in. I didn't even know how to answer your question. And then you were out the door before I could come up with a way to explain all of this to you, when even I barely know what's going on. So I'm asking you: Please stay, and help me raise our daughter." Grace bowed her head slightly and then walked in when she was permitted access. "Will do." She assured her and went to take a seat in one of the chairs. Before asking "What all do you want to know?"
"You lied to me and left me sitting on our bedroom floor feeling worthless ." Ruby snapped. "You didn't try helping me you kept saying I don't want to hear any more about this." She said. "I'm not wanted and this relationship was doom from the beginning you know why because I didn't even get time to know you. I honestly wish we could restart and do it the right way. Everytime anything happens I get depressed and you don't bother doing anything. All you do is beg me not to go. " Raven raised her eyebrows. "I said hurry up and time is ticking before I throw you out the door. I already asked my question and you better answer it." She said.

Nick let out a deep breath seeing as as much as he hoped it wasn't, she was right. "Fine, you want a redo. Then lets do it. It's not excatly like I planed on any of this going like this. When we first meet I thought you were just another stuck up girl that didn't care, but you know what? I still wanted to get to know you seeing as I could sense something was different about you, and I actually wanted to get to know who you were. And then everything just happened. So if you really want to start over, we will. " "You don't have to be so mean about it...... I was orginally sent here to kill Will. I told him while we were in the library that day when we were looking up stuff on a project we were supposed to do together. Told him who I was and what I was. And after that then we found out we were mates, and I wrote to the Alpha of the pack I'd joined a month before saying that I wouldn't do it and he better not make a move to do it either. Tonight we went on a date, then he took me out to the woods to show me something. while we were out there the Alpha and some of the other guys from the pack showed up, and caught him. I was going to fight them but Will told me to run and get help. I didn't know where else to come to look for everyone. So I came here."
Ruby looked at him stunned. "Your right I'm a stuck of person." She said shoving him into the pool. Instead of him going in the pool alone. They both went in and she looked at him. She was angry. "I needed you." She whispered claming down some. "You look cute all wet." Ruby said."I knew about the library incident." She said. "You're a fool to think an alpha would listen to you. Go fix your own problems. Its Will fault for believing a noob." Raven snapped.

Nick chuckled when she calmed down and said that he was cute wet. Smiling some. "Your cute wet too... " He said then continued "If you want to start over, all over, I'll do it ." He said not knowing what else to say to make it up to her now that the fighting was over and done with. "Please, we cant do this alone... I can't do this alone. If you wont help me with this I guess you never really cared for him to began with. I know you don't like me, but if you ever did even care for him, even the slightest bit. Please help me save him."
"I don't think we can start over." She whispered softly. Ruby looked into his eyes and kissed him softly she could taste the water on his lips. Her arms automatically went around his neck. She wasn't feeding off him or anything it was a genuine kiss. Raven looked at her. "Why should I help you? I mean trust another were? You are the one who stole my boyfriend." She said.

Nick could tell that it was just a kiss. And she wasn't trying to feed off of him or anything else. Seeing as he knew what that felt like from the first couple of times she had tried to do that. Wrapping his arms around her waist and pulling her closer to himself. Kissing her back in return. He'd do just about anything if they could start over. Even if it meant risking his life to get her to do it. "I know you don't like me... and might not even trust me. But I didn't mean to ever steal him. But, I don't have any power over who becomes mates with each other. And neither one of us ever thought that we would become mates. I'm not asking you to like me, I'm not asking you to trust me. All I'm asking is that you help me get him out of trouble."
Ruby smiled against his lips pushing a little harder. She didn't realize that Nick could become addicted to her kisses. She didn't even know what she was. Right now nothing matter she had the person who she loved so much. "I wish we could stay like this forever, but we our baby girl who needs us." She whispered against his lips. "Don't like you? I should have ripped your head off when I had a chance. You took and changed someone I loved into something else. I'm sorry I can not help you. Go figure out your problems that you made on your own." Raven said.

Nick didn't even realize what was going on. All he knew was that they were kissing and that he liked it, and that their baby girl was inside the house and would be waking up soon. Kissing her back a little harder almost as if he was becoming addicted to her kiss. "I think she'll be okay for a few more minutes..." He whispered as they kissed. Grace should of expected as much from her. But she had still hoped that Raven would help her get Will out of trouble and back to safety. Nodding slightly as she started to get up so that she could leave. "I'm sorry, really I am---- but I don't have power over who becomes imprinted with who. Just like I don't have the power to decide what changes about people and what doesn't.. .." She said heading to the door, pausing at the door resting a hand on the handle of it. " I guess I'll see you around.." before turning the knob and starting out the door to go start planing on how to get Will out herself.
Ruby nodded her head slowly as she felt his kiss get harder. She kept kissing him. She then backed away. "I do really think we need to go check on Avery." She whispered softly against his lips. "I love you so much, but she's sick." Ruby felt that something was wrong.Raven sighed some. "Wait, lets go see Ruby and Nick." She said softly.

Nick didn't really want the kiss to stop but Ruby was right. Avery was still sick and they hadn't checked on her in a while. Nodding his head in agreement. "Okay." He whispered laying a soft kiss on her forehead before helping her over to the edge of the pool so that she could get out first. Grace turned at the sound of Ravens voice, having not expected her to say anything else about the subject. Hearing her say that they should go see Ruby and Nick about it. Nodding slowly, unsure about her reasoning about changing her mind. But then added an 'Okay' at the end.

Ruby hopped at the pool and shivered some. She was weak her body was exhausted. "Nick are feeling alright? You don't normally kiss me like that." She said softly. The cold water didn't help her and whatever was happening to her didn't help either. Her stomach growled. She grabbed Nick and open the French doors that lead to the pool area. She pushed him against the wall and started kissing him. It was like his soul was the only thing she wanted. "Nick please I'm so hungry. Its like I never ate." Her voice was filled with persuasion. When this happen Ruby never knew what was happening it was just out of instinct.Hunter smiled softly everything was going to plan. He couldn't believe that Nick bought the story of Ruby's real mom. He was too gullible. He gave Nick a spell too turn her into a Blood Fairy. The real Hunter was locked up, but you can't really tell a difference between the two of them.

Oh god, she'd made a real mess and she hadn't even meant too. Pushing everything out of her mind, for a moment so that she could get him to believe her again. Ignoring the wolf that was getting closer my the second. I know, it seems really bad.... but I swear I sent them a letter telling them not to come. She knew that he would understand what she meant now that they weren't only mates but had mated more than once. The male could always break into her mind and see if she was telling the truth. Much like she could do if she chose too although the females had a lower chance of making it past the shield in the males mind. It was one of the rare things that they had in common with the vampires, although vampires used it more than they did. Even though both races could still do it.
