I am really looking forward to it. I am working on my overwhelming TBR pile. I really do have 3000+ books in the TBR file. I am reading the books that are on the first page of the list (first ones I added to my TBR. The one I'm reading now, Cocktails for Three, the next two are The Glass Castle and Kite Runner are all on the first page of my list. I have all of those books accounted for. I will read them one at a time, but will get through them quicker than I may think. I can't wait to read all of these books that I thought great enough to put in my TBR to begin with.

I'm going to be starting Beauty is Therapy Memories of the Traverse City State Hospital by Earle E. Steele next. It's about the time when a mental institution near where I live was still going strong before the shutdown of a bunch of them during the Reagan administration. This building fascinates me. It's beautifully designed but uber-creepy looking as well. It is currently being turned into stores and an apartment complex. Fortunately they aren't changing any of the building design so it still looks the same on the outside down to the color. The place is huge. It had it's own farm, water tower and a factory (for carpet or sewing, I can't remember which).

Ha ha. I hope it doesn't reverse your wish. I always say that if I ever find a genie who can grant wishes the first one will be that I don't have to sleep, that my body doesn't need it but I can if I want. People think I'm crazy but I think its sounds awesome. You could have a full time job, go to school full time, watch movies and maybe finish Cynthia's Challenge. Hey wait, maybe Rosanne and the others who have finished the challenge have already found the genie.

Bhumi, I agree with you. Pillars was a great book but soooo long. I felt there was some material that could have been left out...but it was very good anyways.

It didn't get much better. I think I was comparing it too much with Antonia Fraser's Mary Queen of Scot. I forgot that Gregory's was fiction.

The Other Queen was kind of a let down for me. I thought the relationships amongst everyone involved were very high school jealousy, puppy love stuff.

I loved Tale of Two Cities. Charles Dickens at his best
