This book ties the hold series together in one final transformation an the family united as a hole. Love the book. Makes me wish I had that close of friends in my life right now. One more book an I have this series on my done list. Maybe it will work for the next set of words.
WTG Dusty - that will be awesome to cross a series off your list and a long series too!! I think I added this series to my list from a book you read last time we were on a team together, lol. I need to see about getting to book 1 :D
When are we going to start coordinating our items? I've never done it this way my old teams have always coordinated from the beginning.
I was going to start trying to match up to others this week(tomorrow). I am trying to find rat as an animal, it seems to be a hard one for me.
I've been looking at the spreadsheet and sort of seeing where I should pick. But I am totally willing to pick the items that the team wants me to.

Jennifer Atticus is actually #94 for 2014 so far, so it won't work but Oberon would work.
Waiting for tomorrow to get here. I've been looking for rat too. Hope to get it this week. I try to find the harder ones first too. I've been checking what everyone else has been picking an trying for those to,if I can.Hay Melissa, if you want to read Christine Warren (The Other) series you need to look up the series order. They are not printed in order. The last one out is 8th out of 15 that have been published.
I recommend reading in order! I started with the publication order which is book 5 maybe. And it feels like something is missing. There are hints at past story lines nothing that ruins the book, but it bothered me enough that I stopped after reading a few books and started back at the beginning of chronological order.
Wow, I'm really surprised about Atticus (everyone must have read this book and his naming their sons this).I'll switch to Oberon. Thanks Dawn!
Good morning Team! I'll be checking in at lunch time to see what is called.Happy Valentine's Day everyone!!
Dawn and Dusty ~This is the blurb on here for the series:
According to the author's website each story stands alone; they are listed here in the publication order (original publication order as short stories, for the ones which are expanded) as the author gives the list.
The first six books were originally released as short stories in a series called Fixed; they are being re-released expanded as novels in the Others series.
Is the reading order on GR incorrect? Does the series really start at book 7. I'm now kind of confused....
Reading order on here has this as book #1 >> One Bite With A Stranger which was the one I put on my tbr....
Happy Valentine's Day!! Hhhhmmmm - who knew Atticus would be a popular name??!!??!
I will peek at our spreadsheet and see what I can pick up that may get us extra points. Unless you guys want us to coordinate what to get this week. I should be good either way.
I have a book that I put aside that has fictional place and a book aside with fictional character so ready to go if those get called....
Went and checked spreadsheet and here is where we could make points depending on what is called. Using this list maybe we could coordinate getting a few extra points (no pressure if you can't find in this weeks book ~ as I keep having a roadblock with Grandma, lol):Hunter - Angie/Jennifer
Grandma - Dusty/Angie/Melissa
Frog - Dusty/Angie/Melissa
Rat - Jennifer/Dusty/Turtlecollector
Fict Charac - Dusty/Melissa
Girl in Red - Leslie/Angie/Melissa
Dream - Jennifer/Turtlecollector/Angie
Unusual Name - Dusty/Leslie/Turtlecollector
>>Edit - I missed the last category - I need more coffee,lol
Statue - Melissa (I'll start looking for this)
the rest have too many of us 4 or more to collect the points

GR has fixed the list now. When I started the series the list started with what is now #9. Start with One Bite With A Stranger, I am hoping Prince Charming Doesn't Live Here fits in soon, I just got it from the library.

Thanks - were the first books good - says they were originally novellas - lots of filler or good stories? Curious...

I know - bummer - oh well. Still looking for a book :(
I'll be reading
which seems to be the only book I have with both castle and frog. I'll wait a little bit to see what other items are being claimed to try to match up with them.
Oh, well. Already called Frog. But I will look for a book and get back with y'all.Happy Valentine's Day!!
So far the only book that I can find is one that is not one I want to read at the moment. I'll work a little more and see what I can find. If my question gets answered favorably at RRRC for my team challenge there(it will work for another challenge) then I can prob fit in a book not on my tbr now list. I'm in limbo....
Ok - found a book on my list - unfortunately it doesn't have Grandmother - sorry. Here is what I can claim
Frog/Castle
Fairy or Prince - depending on what all of you find
Statue - yay a point!!
Story - will look for a fictional character while I'm reading. If I find one I'll claim that instead.
Ok everyone, did not have a good day. First had to work, witch wasn't to bad, but after work found my car with a flat tire. Had to find someone to help the lug nuts were on to tight. Finally got the spare on an it went flat as we lowered the car. Had to air it up to make it to Sam's club to fix the flat. All that took two an a half hours. Made it home dealt with the kids and now going to bed. Will look for a book in the morning.

Good morning! Sorry to hear about your bad day, Dusty. Hopefully today will be much better.I am still looking for a book. Any ideas, I am happy to listen! I can find books with castle and I can find books with frog, just not together.
Oh, I like the idea of Whiskey Beach. But I think I found something that I've been meaning to read for awhile.I think I'll be reading
It has castle (the name of a street) and frog. Not sure what else I should grab. I will look at the spreadsheet and what y'all are doing and see what the book has.
Forget what I said about the book I'm going to read. I already read that one in the series. Ugh. So now I'm deciding between Whiskey Beach (thanks Jennifer!) or
which has been on my TBR forever!
Leslie I read
. I liked it.I'm going to read
still thinking on other words.Plus my weekend didn't get better, had a another problem. My older boy dislocated his wrist roller blading at lunch. Spent 4 hours in the ER. The only good part is I got off work early.
Week #4:Frog and Castle
by P.N. ElrodFinished:2/15/14
Rating:4 Stars
Review:This book is collection of short stories from very popular authors such as Kelley Armstrong, Caitlin Kittredge, and Rachel Caine just to name a few of them. The running theme is a honeymoon which means the good, bad, and ugly aspects that can occurred. I was impressed how each author presented their story because the problems could always occur were natural. I've definitely found a couple new authors to read in the future.
Items Claimed
People~Grandmother:My Scottish ancestry is quite small, a great-times-ten grandmother, or something like that. Page 196

Misc~Fictional Place:Hey, when in Cimmeria, do as the Cimmerians do. Page 56
Props~Bread:She buttered her bread, then studied me. Page 12

Always fun when you have an active boy, Dusty! Glad he's okay and I'm sure he will be pushing to go back out very soon!I'm reading The Goblin King and I like it. I also checked out Whiskey Beach from the library on ebook. Too good a suggestion to pass up! I will be finished with Goblin today.
Have a great Sunday everyone!!
I am just starting my book today since it could work for both of my other team challenges, one of which I had to wait until today to start a new book. I hope to finish it by Tues though since it is longer but I have the next two days off as my weekend.
Week 4: FrogBonus Word: Castle

Review: I have had this book on my TBR for a long time and finally got around to reading it. I'm sorry it took me so long. I am a sucker for a good Beauty and the Beast story and this is good. It started out slow, and the language of the author was a little awkward to get used to in the beginning. But then it picked up and I became very attached to the characters and to their story. It is a beautiful love story.
Frog: p. 270 what good was meeting a frog prince
Castle: p. 232 defend the castle
Fairy p. 21 given up on fairy tales
Unusual Name: Dai - the MC's brother
Bridge: p. 290 leaned against a bridge
Morning team! I'm about halfway through my book. I found a fictional character so I'll claim that instead of story.Nice job Angie and Leslie!! Glad to hear you're book was good Leslie. I have that one on my TBR as we'll.
Hoping to be done by tomorrow with my book. I'll check in on Friday but May not pick my book until I'm home and more awaken Sunday.
~Melissa~ wrote: "Thanks - were the first books good - says they were originally novellas - lots of filler or good stories? Curious... "
I thought they were good. It seems weird that they were novella's. Wolf at the Door was the first one I read because it was listed as the first published, it is 336 pages.
I just looked at my review and I did note it seemed rushed and not a lot of explanations. knowing what I know now from reading 1-3 I think I may not have thought that with the back stories from the other books.
