I'll claim rat, unusual name (Atticus) & statue"
Enjoy the book! I love this series!

Two good friends sneak off and elope in Vegas in order to save an inheritance. When they get home, their families try to organize another wedding until they learn to stand up to them and decide what they really want to do. This was a nice fast paced romance that all took place over the course of one month. I enjoy her easy to read books and have definitely been on romance kick for the last week.
Items claimed:
princess pg 18 "...I'm the princess the rest of the night..."
horse pg 133 "Horses got to be broke."
fictional character pg 342 "I'm Snow White because I see the seven dwarfs"
bridge pg 281 "The bridge was on their right..."
blood pg 352 "...a dot of blood on his jawline..."

And Dusty, I've never read any Christine Warren. Do you like her?

Review:This is the second book in Dark Protectors Series. Dr. Emma Paulsen refuses to be made a pawn in the war with Kurjans. Dage Kayrs has waited three centuries for his fated mate. Both of them are stubborn to a fault and neither are willing to give an inch no matter the cost. War is being taken to a new level that neither of them can ignore even if they try too. I can't wait to read more of this series.

Review: This is the climax to this trilogy. A total emotional roller coaster just like the first two. Loved it. This story is definitely not for everyone and is definitely not a romance story - granted there are parts that are. It makes you run the gamut of feelings ~ rage, love, hate, happiness, pissed-offness (is that a word, lol ~ was def a feeling) as well as a lot of WTH moments throughout this well written story. Don't want to say too much as it would give away stuff from the first two books. Wow - you feel like you have a *book* hangover after you finish each book. Kind of speechless - esp after the first one. Interesting twist and turns to this whole story.
"Theirs was a long, complicated story with a monster and a knight. What made their story unique was that these two players were the same person."
Princess: p378 Tony cooed, "Hello, my princess."
Blood: p53 The ME found traces of a rare toxin in his blood.....
Rat: p260 they both looked like drowned rats.
Short person: p10 her attention centered on the beautiful dark haired little girl and blonde headed little boy playing in the sandbox. She'd seen the children on numerous occasions.
Flying Ship: p39 "You're on an airplane."

I'm going to have to go look into Christine Warren and Carolyn Brown. I've never read either.
I so want to read book 2 of Dark Protectors series!! Maybe I can make it work for SS or this... we'll see
Leslie - I'll be available for moral support and *virtual* hand holding.

They have a *support* group on here for this series. The author has a small part from each book written in Tony's POV on there. I have to go read the ones from book 2 and 3. I read the one from book 1.

Princess: as a princess waves in a parade (p. 244)
Bear: my necklace has the shape of a bear on it (p. 98)
Unusual Name: Oberon
Statue: the occasional bronze statue (p. 190)
Blood: perhaps even draw some blood (p. 91)
Atticus and Oberon what a pairing. Refreshing new take in the Supernatural genre. Atticus, the druid, saves the earth and battles gods from every pantheon, while his faithful hound keeps Atticus busy with his many demands for sausage and French poodles. Great fun! Loads-of-action! I highly recommend this book and have already requested the next book in the series from the library.

Bonus: Blood

Review:
I really liked this book a lot, though I had no idea what was going on for much of the story. Fae politics, White Council politics, it all got so jumbled up and yet it was great fun to read. Harry starts out as a complete mess, still suffering over everything that happened in the last book. But he ends up in a much better place. I was actually happy for a book without Susan in it, who is not my favorite character. Excited to read what happens next.
Princess: p. 87 Princess Leia
Blood: p. 15 scarlet blood on her fingers
Statue: p. 164 picked out a pair of statues
Short person: p. 38 a short stocky man
Rat p. 133 huge problem with rats

I like her romantic suspense books much more than her straight romances. I really enjoyed that book as well.
