I have just finished

And how did you find it? It's on my shelf, and given my self imposed rule of reading 50% kiwi authors this year, I will be reading at some stage, finally!

Strange Hotel is available to request from NetGalley until June 30, 2020.

Meanwhile to make up can I offer two lists of books , some of which I read for the competition, which I think you'd find something worth reading?
THE WISHING SHELF BOOK AWARDS 2019
FINALISTS/WINNERS
Readers marked the books according to EDITING, THEME, STYLE, COVER and, in the case of many of the children’s books, ILLUSTRATIONS. Every book that was awarded over 30/40 was a finalist.
If you happen to be looking for a good read, the readers at The Wishing Shelf Awards thoroughly recommend the following:

How has everyone's lockdown reading been going? I haven't read as much as I thought I would.

I've never read any of this old favorites so this is going to be interesting!

A near one-sitting read for me this week was Trust Me, I'm Dead, the first crime novel from a Kiwi/Aussie author.
I'm currently reading and really enjoying A Crack in the Wall by Argentine author Claudia Pineiro. A crime novel set in Buenos Aires, but a different style to US/UK crime fiction. Nice to have a wee change for a bit.
