Just started reading . I'm way more familiar with the work of Agatha Christie, and thought it about time I read NZ's own queen of mystery!

I have just finished , but didn't feel the same love for it as I did for the author's first book - , which I adored.

My reading has been a little up and down during lockdown here in London. Dozens of kids books read to Miss Five, several New Zealand crime novels read for some awards and events things (events may end up being virtual, of course), and a few other books here and there.

A near one-sitting read for me this week was Trust Me, I'm Dead, the first crime novel from a Kiwi/Aussie author.

I'm currently reading and really enjoying A Crack in the Wall by Argentine author Claudia Pineiro. A crime novel set in Buenos Aires, but a different style to US/UK crime fiction. Nice to have a wee change for a bit.
