I have the Immortal Guardians on my TBR Donna. I haven't read Burned yet but I have heard complaining about the POV.

IGs is good, Tracy. I think you'll like it. And Burned... yeah. Slowly I'm making my way through, but it's rough. I hope it gets better

Wait, what? 4th book?

I just assumed the series was over, so I never checked back on it. Can't believe I missed this. The heir... out in May. Sweet! Adding that to my TBR right meow!

I only have so many books unread to get me to July before I can purchase more :(
I need to find some buy/ swap / sell page for second hand books! I hate reading on the iPad. My eyes need the break from the computer!!
If anyone is Australia especially in QLD knows of anything let me know!
For now I'm reading The Golden Lily!

Lol. I did read it though, and I didn't like where it ended up I was really disappointed. Also I compared it more to Chicagoland Vamps than anything else, I could tell it's got a more UF feel than PNR.

I lived this book Brooke. What is wrong with you? It can't be me.

Maybe it was redone since I read it? I read it for an R4R a very long time ago, like when it came out or before that? I just didn't like it.

Hadn't heard of these. Just took a peek. Looks interesting. I take it from the EEEPPPP it's worth adding to the TBR pile?

That's gotta be what it means. I looked EEEPPPP up and it meant, "to be added to your TBR ASAP". Sylvia's awesome. :-)

One of the most recommended books from me! I love this series.
I just downloaded
and hope to finish it this weekend. I am currently listening to
and it's actually pretty good though a little sad.

I would definitely recommend this series. Fast reads and pretty addictive.

I have to be in the mood for a sad read, but I've had that on my list for a while now too.

Too bad you're not a fan of the iPad, I've got tons of books I could send you...have you tried inverting the colours and dimming the screen? It's much easier on the eyes when it's not so bright

Here's the link to the shelf.

The only author I am familiar with on your shelf Savannah is Kiersten White but I read her Paranormalcy trilogy and lived it. Sorry I couldn't help you out.

That's exactly how I've been with IAD! lol And after reading through BDB then moving onto IAD, I realized how much it annoyed me reading through the numerous POV switches with BDB. IAD has been so much more enjoyable in my opinion, not that I don't still love Ward's work.

I was disappointed in the last Significance book just because the series dragged on too long, I think she should have ended at book 3. I'm reading the novella now to get ready for the spin-off now that I know there is one! lol

Omg the BDB POVs, God I have complained about them sooooooo often it's crazy. In another group I'm in I think I've complained a billion times it's just so difficult for me to care. I had to read Xcor's pov and when I first met him I asked if I really had to read his. I skimmed until it got interesting. I think all the POVs detract from the book about who it is about. I don't remember nearly as many POVs in Wrath's book. Hopefully with that new legacy series she's talking about it won't have so many.

I guess I think there was a fight scene and it was supposed to be some big epic battle and.....it fell flat I'll have to look at my reviews.

I loved this book as well. I'll be reading book 2 for the monthly challenge with men so if anyone wants to buddy read...
I'm reading

I've read nothing on your shelf, but ASH AND BRAMBLE is on my list and it's a fairytale retelling so... But sorry i couldn't be a real help

Same here, Erin. As much as I love BDB, IAD has my attention like no other series! I'm getting ready to start

Oh yup I definitely enjoyed IAD more, and at first the POV switches in BDB annoyed the hell out of me (actually I thought the whole first book was pretty lacking) but I got used to it and I think the fact that they're so different was actually a good thing
I think in IAD I like how each story is completely seperate and you can read them out of order if you want (which is what I did) HOWEVER I found that it was often the ongoing arcs in BDB that kept me hooked, rather than the romance (e.g. With book 6 I had no interest in Phury and Cormia at all, but all the other shit that went down was like WOAH!)
I'm interested to give the Demonica series a go now, I've heard that's good...but I think I should probably wait until I don't have a stack of ARCs waiting for review

Hey, no I didn't know that. Is that just normal iPad settings or is there an app setting I can do that? Books on here are easier!
I know the good reads app won't allow me to reply to comments so I have to use the web page lol

You should be able to do it within the app and it depends which app as to where to do it - in iBooks its on the top right hand corner within the actual book (it's the one that's got the two As) it has an option for brightness, text size, whether to have the background as 'white' 'sepia' or 'night' and also a few different font options
The kindle app has pretty much the same thing but it's on the top left side
Bluefire Reader app has a gear symbol (like a settings symbol) on top right within the book that has brightness and the background colour options
And those are all the reading apps I have but I'm sure others are similar too

Yeah I really thought we were heading for a wrap up in book 4 but I'm kind of glad we're not...hopefully another three books will be enough to get Cleonas back on track! The blurb looks pretty cool...I always thought Cleo, Magnus and Jonas would end up allied - looks like that might happen here...damn it's so far away!!

I may get back to IAD this weekend, I am in such a bad contemp romance rut but have about 20 up for review, it's killing my desire to read. :-(
