Yes, they would make great movies. I didn't really like the TMI movie. First, I didn't like the guy who played Jace. Not good looking enough. Second, they changed part of the story line, pissed me off. BUT I did like the girl they chose to play CLary. I think she fit that part well. And the guy for Simon was utterly perfect.

I read the first book, and when the whole sibling thing popped up I stopped reading the series. I had no interest in reading 2+ books of them pining for each other in vain. If it'd been handled quickly I probably would be more willing to go back to it.

Been MIA thanks to a ton of family events this month, looks like I've missed out on a LOT of books! lol I got a little reading in last week, finished The Dark Duet (A Musical Interlude, #3) by KaSonndra Leigh which was pretty good.

I have to say though, I am so bummed because for some reason when I finished Lover Unleashed (Black Dagger Brotherhood, #9) by J.R. Ward I thought I was FINALLY at Q and Blay's book...only to realize I had to get through Tohr's first. UGH I'm seriously thinking about skipping over, I was giddy excited to finally see the boys get their HEA and now I have to get through Tohr's and I'm not a huge fan of him. BDB fans, is book 10 worth a read?

Mello ❣ Illium ✮Harry✮ ☀Myrnin☀ Torin Ichimaru | 257 comments You shouldn't skip it, Erin. There's big developments in Tohr's book that will leave you confused if you just go to Qhuinn and Blay's book.

Laura (llbasaldua) | 790 comments I finished Finnikin of the Rock (Lumatere Chronicles, #1) by Melina Marchetta it took me awhile to get through it I wasnt really into it it wasnt what I was expecting for a High Fantasy kind of story it was a bit too slow and meh Not sure Ill continue with the books maybe just to see how everything works out but I wont be rushing to finish them.

Also finished Heir of Fire (Throne of Glass, #3) by Sarah J. Maas Loved it!

Finished Unbeloved (Undeniable, #4) by Madeline Sheehan ok so this series hasnt been the best of series but its been enough to keep my interest But this book! it was really Boring!

Oh and I cant forget On Dublin Street (On Dublin Street, #1) by Samantha Young again it was just ok for me but the last 1/4 or so of the book really hit home with me Its exactly what Im going through right now or have been most of this year minus the surgery ...

Now Im finishing up Lost in You by Heidi McLaughlin Its a bit different for me older women younger guy but still not amazing but not bad.

Next up I think is Shadow's Edge (Night Prowler, #1) by J.T. Geissinger or Picturing Perfect (Love of My Life, #3) by Melissa Brown

Oh and if there are any Blue Bloods (Blue Bloods, #1) by Melissa de la Cruz Masquerade (Blue Bloods, #2) by Melissa de la Cruz Revelations (Blue Bloods, #3) by Melissa de la Cruz The Van Alen Legacy (Blue Bloods, #4) by Melissa de la Cruz Keys to the Repository (Blue Bloods, #4.5) by Melissa de la Cruz Misguided Angel (Blue Bloods, #5) by Melissa de la Cruz Bloody Valentine (Blue Bloods, #5.5) by Melissa de la Cruz Lost in Time (Blue Bloods, #6) by Melissa de la Cruz Gates of Paradise (Blue Bloods, #7) by Melissa de la Cruz Fans out there I just bought The Vampires of Manhattan (The new blue bloods coven, #1) by Melissa de la Cruz Kind of a spin off but I guess not really just a "New Grown Up Crowd" So looking forward to this also!

Ashlee | 309 comments Hey all - i don't want this to come across as spamming, just a simple shout out :)

My magazine (The Australia Times Books) has just started up a book club on goodreads (we're doing an Aussie, an Adult, a YA and a 'bucket list' selection every month) and I thought some of you might be interested in joining in on the YA reads (more than welcome to do the others too lol)

One of our first books (for October) is Shadows (The Rephaim, #1) by Paula Weston - a great YA/NA paranormal set in Aus...from what I hear it has done really well in the US as well. The author of this series (Paula Weston) is being interviewed for the magazine and has actually just joined the book club, so I'd really love to get heaps of YA fans there to get a good discussion going!

Anyway, here's the link, cheers https://www.goodreads.com/group/show/...
