Leslie | 16369 comments My last book for this theme in 2014 was a short story, the audiobook edition of The Snow Queen by Hans Christian Andersen (Danish to English)

2015 started with the audiobook of The Three Musketeers (French to English) {reread}. I think that I will restart my numbering for the new year, so this is #1.

I don't know how I missed this. Benjamin, did you read the entire d'Artagnan series last March? or is this covering a longer period? I ask because I am in the process of reading that series and those books are looong!!

I agree. They do take a long time. There's only so much of the French court that I can stand in a day :)

message 189: by Jenny (new)

Jenny (jeoblivion) | 4893 comments It's interesting that last time this year the list would have been much longer, but on top of having a slow start this year I also have a real craving for German literature again and most of English books I've read in original language.

Jenny (jeoblivion) | 4893 comments Gill wrote: "Oh, I didn't realise you'd read Snowdrops, Jenny. What did you think of it?"

Gill, I've listened to it, which is always a bit different I find than reading myself. I liked it! I've heard it advertised as a thriller but I didn't so much read it as such. Did you? The turn of events (well actually it's fairly clear something is wrong pretty early on) left a very bitter taste in my mouth. How about you?
