I'm reading some Szymborska at the moment (as per your recommendation, Dhanaraj, thank you!) As mine is a compliation/selection, could you tell me the title of this one in English too, please?

The collection that I read in Italian does not have and English edition, at least according to the GR records.
I read that as part of improving my knowledge of Italian. I would love to read some of her other collections translated in English.

Dhanaraj - OK, thanks for looking! I'm really enjoying the collection I mentioned, so you could try that. Part of what I'm enjoying is that these poems work well read aloud. I don't think all poetry does.

Jean, you are right about the joy of being read aloud the poems of Szymborska. An half an hour before I read one of her poems, titled CONSOLATION and ended up laughing very loud in my room. Try it and you too will end up the same way. The link: http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/consol...
