When you wake up extremely early on a saturday because you have to spend the entire day doing very boring activities with the only reasuring thought in your mind that you are going out at night with your friends, after weeks of no-out-of-school-life and then when you start getting ready everyone cancels on you...

When you get up, get your kids up, and get everyone ready for school, thinking the whole time that there should be a cancellation or delay because there is so much snow, just to get a 2 hour school delay notification right as you're walking out the door (usually they make these decisions around 4-5 in the morning, not at 7:40)! Now I have a very upset preschooler because he doesn't have class when there is a two hour delay :(

Lol he always wants to go to school! He wants to be like his big brothers. I think he feels left out when they are at school and he's at home. He loves learning too though. He could write his own name before he turned three because he insisted that I showed him over and over and over how to write it so that he could write it on his own. He's a very determined little boy! :)

Really! She didn't talk to me the whole day after that! And we didn't even fight! Like I just snapped at her for something (it was totes reasonable) and then we both didn't talk to each other...
Well, moms don't usually take it well when we snap at them... Mine is the same, even if it's warranted...

I don't know how your mom deals with this stuff, but mine goes back to normal the next day, as if nothing had happened

Well, what usually does it for me, is to swallow my pride and talk to her like nothing happened.

That's what mine's like too.
Well all that happens in my case too. But we've rarely been quiet for the whole day (usually it happens with mom and my brother). And it worries the hell out of me too...
It's always scary, and it makes you feel guilty as heck, but hang in there!

If it's a small thing, as it seems to be in your case, I'd just wait and see what happens. If it was a huge deal, then I'd apologize.
It isn't huge, but it isn't small either. I mean she doesn't take things lightly, but I'll wait for it.
I wake up late and I realize that even if I skip breakfast I'm still going to be late for my job.

Given that my alarm clock is actually human, there is no ignoring it LOL And since I wake up at 4:30 or weekdays, I have to force myself to stop reading

Far more reliable (with no snooze button and all) XD.
Nope, no snooze button there. There is a panic button in there somewhere though... If I take too long to get up, it gets frenzied LOL
Whenever I was in that situation, I'd allot some reading time. After one or two hours of work, I'd give myself twenty minutes to read LOL
When your mother is more excited about dress shopping for prom than yourself. So she spends hours in the computer looking at dresses and dragging me to stores, but then she doesn't like any of the dresses I pick and keeps trying for me to try on the ones she picked...-.-

Thank God my mother hasn't reached that stage, and hopefully never will. :)
My computer is apparently dead, and it took with it all my e-books (some I hadn't sent to my Kindle yet), my iTunes library, my Tv shows...
For prom I want dress like the on the a Selection books. They are all so pretty.
I heard negative movie reviews about Divergent. (I do respect their opinions though)

Oh that is not good!
I was so looking forward to transferring some books to my Kindle and getting new books... Now I can't. And don't even know when I'd be able to take it in to be repaired
