Thank you!

Reading an ARC
much lighter in tone than what I am used to from Brockmann. If you've ever seen the show White Collar that is what it feels like a bit.
Okay I have to add an update about The Siren. I am 32% in, only flashes of sex so far, and it's blowing my mind. It's stimulating my mind, a novel concept to expect in BDSM erotica now a days.

I will be awaiting your take on this Pagan because you might just be the one that tips me over. LOL.
@Connie - did you review this? I might need to read a couple more reviews.
Full disclosure: I have a list of things I call "irrational reasons why I won't read a book" and honestly they are really rather superficial. But one of them is about covers. And one of my irrational reasons for not picking up this book is I hate the shoes on the cover. I don't like shiny black pumps. LOL...I know.....I know...

Anytime I see cartoon covers on a PNR, babies on a cover, a certain overused IR couple stock photo, or a well known author telling me how great it is, it's an automatic skip for me. hehehe
I just finished Sempre, Redemption and that book is freaking FAN-TAB-U-LOUS!!!!!! I loved this book. It's action packed and the love story has you hooked. Those who survive make you want to high five somebody and those who are killed make you cry. Great, great read. Loved every minute of the 500+ page book and it was worth every penny.

A friend of mine wrote a thriller called
The Widow File. I'm reading at the same time as I read Mr. Fix-It. I love Sheila's books--she always has this irreverent tone that makes me feel like she's sitting beside me here in Stockholm even though she is in West Virginia. :)

Great! I'm so glad to hear that. I've had both of them for so long and it's about time that I read them. I may need someone to vent to while I read Silver Metal Lover, LOL!

I've gotten hooked on Marie Treanor's books:

I love that review. I think I need to read it and one of my 2014 reading resolutions is to read at least one book outside my comfort zone each month. And this sounds very much outside.
Just finished
. The book was pretty good. Way better than the cover suggests. I was however not convinced by the great love between Raph and Cynthia. I think the author rushed it.Reading
Finally. Surprised that the love interest is a WOC. Granted in this series "race" is a fluid concept because gene manipulation is a big deal in this series, but still she isn't white. so yay! diversity.

This book is so amazing, I'm having trouble with my review. I don't know how to put into words exactly everything it made me feel.

I was really impressed with the depth of the characters. I plan to read the rest of the series eventually. This was a smart book.
Well, I've read the second book which is very risqué, especially for the gen pop, but still a good story. Still got frustrated at the end of the book, which made me hesitant about reading the 3rd book, but I have it so I just need to suck it up, buckle down and just read it. :)
Can someone advise me how to add the book cover with the comments I make? I'm doing something wrong. Thanks!
Charlotte wrote: "Can someone advise me how to add the book cover with the comments I make? I'm doing something wrong. Thanks!"Click where it says "add book/author" above the comment box. And then search for the book title you want. Once you find it, click "add".

. I had to read a little fluff in between the last one because my emotions were so spent. Starting this book feels like that moment on a roller coaster when you start up the first hill...
