Bookish Blocks Challenge - Sign up & Questions
The books in the post, are what you can choose for the "Mods pick" square.Every other square you can read whatever you want. (if it matches the description in the box.)
Tatiana wrote: "Silly question: could I use the same box twice?"Once you tick a box off, it's gone. So if you read all the books across the top line, you don;t have to read "dress on cover" again to go down the middle line. :)
I'm in! I can already do a row as one of my books has three of those squares and I have two books in mind for the other ones!

Ok, I guess it would be too easy if you could use one book for more than one square!
I have a question, can one book tick off more than one box? For example, a book which is a first one in a series and has multiple POV, if I read that book can I tick those boxes or I can only tick one?

Once you tick that box off though, you won't have to read it again to do the other line. Once it's ticked off, it's gone.

Ok, thanks! I still have to think if I'll sign for it though :)
and also if I was to read the first book in a series and it was a dystopian novel could that 1 book be used for 2 squares?
Would
since numbers replace letters in the title, but aren't actually part of the title on Goodreads? Just curious. :)

Strong character basically mean that they're brave. It's someone that doesn't run away when there's danger, and instead, faces it head on.

Thanks!
I can't wait for this challenge to start! I've started preparing for it (that's how excited I am!) and I have a few questions:Would Power of Six by Pittacus Lore count as 'a number in it's title'?
And does the challenge start at a certain time zone? Or we can start and stop in our own time zones from 8th-29th? Thanks in advance :)

Yes, that would count :) The challenge starts, and ends in central pacific time, which is goodreads time. :)

Bookish blocks
This is a 3 week challenge, running from the 8th of January, until the 29th
For this challenge, we have a 5x5 grid, with different descriptions in.
The aim of the game, is to read books that match the descriptions.
If the boxes you tick off, make a line, you get bonus points.
The descriptions
• Each book read will be worth one point.
• Each book that was read with a buddy, will also be one point.
• Each line you get, will give you 5 extra points.
Lines can be made by reading 5 books downwards, 5 books sideways, and 5 books diagonally.
