Lisa seeing as it's only the second and you've already crossed off five books, I just want to check if you know the rules of the challenge? You have to have read and finished all the books you use in January (or whatever month the word is for). For TJAILA, you have to read 6 books in January.
In addition, you may only use books that are at least 150 pages long, with about the same amount of text on the page as for a novel. This means that the Bronte, Herrick and Eliot poetry collections you've listed won't count I'm afraid.

Only just saw your comment, I did not realize that poetry doesn't count, no matter I can change my word. I hope that academic, non fiction books count

Yep :) Shorter fiction can be used for the Short Story Challenge, although unfortunately we don't have anything that caters to short works of non-fiction. Not sure about the poetry though. Even if the collection is over 150 pages it's typically much shorter than a novel of the same length.

Can I then include poetry in the short story challenges and the know your bookshelf challenge? I read a lot of it.
I'd accept 550 pages, on the assumption that you're reading the whole thing.You can include entire collection in the short story challenge, but not individual poems.
I'm just trying to keep it fair. If you use poetry collections or short stories in the regular challenges, you can finish much more quickly and easily than people reading novels. If you use individual poems (except for stuff like Paradise Lost) in the short story challenge, you have the same unfair advantage over those reading normal stories.
That's fine Lauren, I understand about the need for fairness, did not realize when I included these that it was not correct. The poetry I've read is collections. I read the whole book and obviously would not include individual poems except for epics like Paradise Lost etc.
No problem :) It's our fault as we should include that detail in this and other intro posts, but we tend to be a bit sloppy about it since we usually have a small set of participants who already know the rules. New active members trickle in now and then, and end up learning the rules when they break them, rather than from the main challenge posts.

This rule breaker would like to get it all sorted:-)
I think Carolien's in charge of that particular challenge, but I'm sure she won't mind if you swap out the short books for longer ones :)
