(view spoiler)[ The fact that the girl experienced her first orgasm while being raped. I read this a couple years ago and it still sickens me to this day.

For some reason this goes beyond the physical torture in any novel and crowns the ultimate disaster on this poor girl. It's so wrong I cannot quantify it.

DWELLER was almost more of a tragedy than a horror novel. Fantastic read in any case.

It's no spoiler, since the premise is stated in the first sentence of the Goodreads synopsis, to say that all of the world's children dropping dead is the saddest thing I've ever read about.

I've a soft spot for animals me...torturing them isn't necessary in books.

Omg, I would go balistic on that one. Btw, my kitty was killed 2 days ago :(((( I can't stop crying. I loved him so very much. I have his brother still, so that's a bit of a comfort. I love him as well a lot, but he is totally different...but at least he's alive.
